I love the gym. I also love that y’all have childcare on site for people who work out. As a stay at home mom this is a huge deal. I get the have me time and workout while my child gets to connect with other children her age.
A nice atmosphere with a wide variety of exercise equipment. The steam room is always nice and hot! Plenty of room in the pool. Gym is usually always available. It just feels comfortable, while trying to change my lifestyle towards better health.
The staff at Blue Ash have smiling faces and are very friendly..Thank you:). LOVE the SWIMMING POOLS*
Plenty of different cardio and weight activity options. The pool is spacious. Sometimes they have kids into the pool from summer camps... and kids are kids. So just research when the camps come into the pool and dont go then. The staff are super nice. If you have any concerns they usually get right on it. The Google hours are different than whats on the website so just be sure to call ahead so you dont waste your time
Great place for well-rounded family and individual fitness and health. All body types truly welcome!
I have been a member of this YMCA off and on for 30 years. Never had a bad experience! Great people work at this location! A special thanks to Allison for completing our most recent registration on a busy Sunday afternoon! She is an exceptional representative of the YMCA mission!
So I opened a account at this ymca in blue ash and was told come in on the date it’s due swipe your card and tell them you want automatic payments I said ok no problem the prorated amount had been paid on that day gym membership I was told was $50 today I was told it was $53.90 and that since they had hit my card twice it would be $73.90 makes no since I didn’t tell them to hit it oh well on tha back of what you sighned allowed us to automatically withdraw so who’s lying
Great experience at Blue Ash for adult swim lessons. Swim instructors Gretchen and her co-teachers Helen and AJ were patient, knowledgeable and did a great job with teaching swim basics and strokes.
Big, clean, comfortable temperature pool. Friendly staff. Clean and newly remodeled, well kept for an older Y site. Looking forward to the outdoor pool opening.
The staff is great. It appears that the locker room and the outdoor pool are in need of a lot of updating.
I love the YMCA! I have so far only been there 3 days and im in love! It has great staff and I love that even children can workout! Its so much fun and I will continue going!
Nicely maintained and a nice staff. Open to people from all cultures.
A very clean and supportive environment. The staff is knowledgeable and welcoming. I have a single membership and it’s a very fair price for all amenities offered.
This is a great place to be. The staff is friendly, informative & personable. The outdoor pool is amazing. I have met some wonderful people poolside & cant wait to return summer 2021. Keep up the awesome work, Blue Ash YMCA! ...& as always, many thanks!!
Great place clean all the time lots of space to work out have sauna and steam room great
Pool was not clean and the water was cold at 10AM
Very friendly staff and a very big clean place
The pool is wonderful and their staff is so kind
Im biased cause I work there, but definitely love the staff and community who make the YMCA their home away from home.
Front line workers can join for free till March 31st 2021...your membership is thru July 31st 2021...then u can pick up your membership from there. What a great deal!
The staff is amazing. So many different recreational options, and various classes. What a great buy, and I love to swim and with such a massive outdoor pool and indoor swimming as well, its a great facility. Gyms, basketball, racquetball, and for such a great price, thank you!
I absolutely love my daughter’s swim instructor, and the front desk staff is welcoming and helpful.
Love my group exercise classes.
The staff at the Blue Ash YMCA are great and really helping its members stay active during the pandemic. Great Job!
The instructor was very attentive. She seemed to really want to help her students reach their swim goals. I appreciated that. Unfortunately I was not able to attend the complete class time due to work travel and commitments but when I was there she was great!
Great staff.
Better cleaner Womens locker room.
Nice people, nice place
I really enjoy the evening yoga class. This YMCA is very convenient for my daily commute, so I dont have to go out of my way for my workouts. I walk out of the door and in a minute I am back on the highway home.
One of the smaller YMCA around but its still a great YMCA they offer many different classes here for kids and a summer program. The pools here are great! The basketball court is nice and the gym is awesome a lot of different workout machines to use! I would definitely recommend coming to this YMCA
Great offering of swim lessons and fantastic instructors! We can generally find convenient times for all of our kids (current ages from 3 to 8) to do swim lessons on the same night.
Do not recommend for swimming activities due to lifeguard staff attitudes
All around great program. Sports, Gym Facilities, Group Exercise Schedule. I love the new (chill room) for the kids. I like everything about this YMCA. Staff friendliness is very important to me. The Blue Ash YMCA staff is friendly and helpful. Keep up the great work!
Very nice facility and friendly help. Compared to other facilities with similar amenities its a bargain! They include classes in the membership price which is unlike other rec centers. They have a hot tub, sauna, and steam room and 3 swimming pools. The annex building is nice and quiet and mostly used by seniors rather than children, which I appreciate.
The Blue Ash Y is my go to place to meet my health and wellness goals. For one low membership fee Im able to swim, spin, enjoy yoga and Intrinity class and best of all...make new friends.
For a family that swims its really great, open pool hours arent always the best and summer camps can crowd the pool.
It is a very active YMCA. Main building has a nice warm indoor pool with diving well but no indoor boards. Sauna is fine. A couple racket ball courts which are odd to enter as they are on their own floor. Gym is big with 6 hoops. Spinning classes and circuit workout. Plus bikes and tread Mills. Outdoor pool is fine and well maintained but old. 2nd building has another indoor cold pool for real laps
They have many different programs for fitness levels, 2 buildings with swimming pools and water exercises.
Place is awesome kids have a play area we can leave them their with staff while we can go for some workout or swim the staff are friendly their my kid enjoyed to stay for 2 hour without me for first time ever
I always enjoy going to the Y in Blue Ash.
I came here out of town from Rochester New York with my partner to watch our nieces soccer game. I loved this YMCA it was very family oriented and the coaches were excellent with the kids. Its pretty big also with several places to play sports at. I would highly recommend this place to enroll your kids into sports or other programs here. They have been going to this YMCA for years and never had an issue here.
Sadly it is going downhill. Not as clean as it should be. Lots of members but not many improvements. Nice workers there, but for nearly $100 a month it has to be better. No pool improvements in 20+ years and locker rooms look the same as the 1980s.
Great facilities. Clean and easy to navigate. The pool life guides are nice, even if no one knows why they still close the kiddie pool when the big pool has Adult Swim.
Good place with moderate crowd and facilities. They have good options and schedules for group fitness. Very spacious with two buildings for fitness and two indoor swimming pools and an outdoor pool. Very encouraging and accessible instructors for most of the classes.
Kids love the indoor heated pool. Kids love the swim classes. Kid like to follow mum for her dance fitness class and try to follow the moves. Dad pays the monthly bill.
Very bad people not friendly
Its a full-service, family-friendly facility; always lively with events, equipment in good condition, and polite staff.
Love going to the Blue Ash Y to work out. They just got new workout equipment and the equipment is s great. They also have great workout classes and a great swim pool.
I love the ymca. The Blue Ash location has some of the most friendly staff. Facilities are great. Can be a little pricey but I they might offer some sort of scholarship program.
My son takes swim lessons here. Instructors are great. Would Gove 5 stars but the setup there is very weird. Hate having to walk all the way around through locker rooms to get to the pool
I should of just stayed at Crunch!! Everything is under construction or has a grand opening but is never open. Probably going to be the last month here. I’ve been a member for two months here. Not worth it at all. Whoever is in charge here really needs a new career field. As well as training you can not complain of services because your considered angry and hostile..Haha all I wanted was to use the game room.. nope.. sauna.. we are working on it.. daycare.. your three old behaves as if she is there idk but people of any descendant other than Caucasian.. Good luck.. Honestly and the daycare supervisor will not answer the phone nor call you back.. I have call logs to prove it. Witnesses as well @ me if you need more info
I love the inclusive atmosphere of the Blue Ash YMCA. After newly moving to the area, it was amazing to have a place with friendly faces to help me meet my fitness goals!
A wonderful place with a wide variety of activities! I love it !
Had a great evening swim tonite. The only drawback was the volume of music outside. Hard to believe that everyone enjoys it being THAT loud.
One of the best jobs Ive ever had. Everyone is very friendly.
My favorite would be the slide the excellent temperature of water outdoor Olympic pool kids watch oh yeah the sauna beautiful incredible place to relax and to get your sweat on the water Fitness classes are superb incredible instructors very patient and knowledgeable of their craft
What a great place! I was given a complimentary 3-month membership as part of LiveStrong, a free fitness program for cancer survivors. In addition to having access to 2 lovely and enthusiastic personal trainers, I was privileged to meet some incredible people.Sadly, I tore my hamstring playing tennis and couldnt complete the 12-week program, but it didnt diminish the experience I had.The facility is very nice and very active. Lots and lots of things to choose from, and well worth the monthly fee. Im so bummed that the facility is 35 minutes from my home or Id have joined in a heartbeat. If youre on the fence, do not hesitate to join. And say hello to Debbie and Denise for me.
My kids just took a swimming class each at the Y in Blue Ash. The swimming coach/instructor that taught the class was unprofessional, late for the class, chatted to a life guard throughout a whole lesson, and provided little attention/instructions to the students. The director of Aquatics was impossible to reach and ineffective in solving problems.Considering how much I have to pay for the fees for the classes and membership, I do NOT recommend this YMCA at Blue Ash. They do not try to solve problems and do not value their members feedback.
Facilities could be updated but it is nice to have a pool so close. The staff are soo friendly and nice and make you feel welcome every time you walk in the door!
Excellent place for physical fitness programs of all types. Very well kept facility (clean).
Awesome place for me an my boys we love it!
Nice was Im from out of town friendly and was able to get a great work out in Im a vet so was able to swim free.
Spacious weightlifting area - I always feel like Im able to get a turn with everything I need.
Nice clean YMCA 2 pools nice staff
Very friendly, clean, accessible fitness facility. Swimming indoors and out, racquet ball, childcare, yoga, weights and machines. Too much to name all the features.
Summer camp could be improved with more capable counselors
Nice place to swim at. Needs to be cleaner.
The people are nice there but theyre hot tub never seems to be able to be open due to them being broke or now pull issues up there for the past two months weve been trying to go to the hot tub and maybe once all the two months weve got to go the rest of time theyre closed every time you turn around the hot tub is closed
The place is old so somewhat stained(not the cleanest).Continually increasing my monthly dues so i feel taken advantage of.There r numerous groups of people who pay little or nothing. And since i go daily they know its a need(lifestyle)for me so they know ill just pay the $$$
My daughter has been attending the summer camp, about 2 weeks in she started getting bullied. I have left a handful of messages for the person in charge of camp, I had a meeting and she ironically had to leave town without notice. I have yet to receive a follow up call to get the settled.
Great place to exercise, relax, and meet friends. Well kept facilities.
The steam room is next to useless. The steam comes on for about 10 seconds and shuts off for about 10 minutes. It feels like a warm humid muggy summer day. Lind street and Melrose are 100 times better. I could not post unless I clicked at least one star, there should be a zero star on here.
Great for swimming some laps
Honestly quite disappointed that my fiancé pays a monthly fee to use your facilities, yet one of your grumpy employees feels the need to make him and everyone else leave 15 mins before closing.
Keeping me well, i attend water aerobic classI also belong to a cancer class called Live Strong, my trainers are awesome,
An older style gym but everything you is need is there and they have great kids programs for a fraction of the price of the fancy corporate gyms.
Pleasure to be around these nice folks great facility great staff
Becoming my Go To spot for work outs
Go there when the Powell Crosby branch had a swim meet. Water in the main pool too warm for my tastes.
Nice place for kids to learn how to swim
Nice gym and variety of fitness classes offered, to suit all ability levels.
I enjoy the water classes. It helps me to move and function with less pain when the class is over.
Great
Went to the pool on the right side - Ferris Pool. Was there at 6:55 AM to start swimming at 7:00 AM. The life guard was outside and the doors were locked. Without requesting information, the life guard said that this happens a lot and that he has been requesting a key for over three years. As a new member, who pays $58 per month, this is unacceptable and other customers should be warned.I went to the main pool and the outdoor pool but they were very busy. That is okay but the Ferris pool seems to be less busy and is my first choice.I hope that the YMCA staff can give the poor life guard a key so that customers can get in!Regards,Bob Taylor
I have to rate this Y terribly because the members are awful and its aging and needs to be updated. Visited it and Ill gladly stick to my home site, Butler.
I visited here from as a visitor from another Y district and was very impressed with the facility and staff. The locker rooms could use an overhaul
Clean facility and staff. Also a wide variety of activities, from strength training to warm and cold water pools.
Quality YMCA good parking, good service, lockers, popular workout place
3 pools! A beautiful room for Zumba.
It can be a little pricey for a large family to join but it does have 3 pools, hot tub, sauna, lots of different classes and work out area.
Kids love camp
I love this place. Staff is very nice!
Love this YMCA location. SO much to do!
Older YMCA. Has all of the features of a new YMCA. I just dont like that the aquatic center isnt attached. You physically have to get in your car and drive to the pool from the YMCA or walk a block.
A little pricy, but they have a eye for design. All of the stuff is pretty neat, and they put a modern twist on it.
TRX with Heather is my favorite! Many other great class offerings and two large indoor pools, plus one outdoor open for summer
The YMCA has transformed my life, my spirit, and my body. The staff is so friendly and I love to be around Christian folks like myself.
Great equipment, great classes, fun social environment
Great class offerings! A Blue Ash staple!
