One of the best auto repair places I’ve been to. Dropped it of the night before and the next day it was ready and running better than ever. The owner was super nice and informant.

This place is great! Tom saved our butt today. We were travelling through town on a long road trip when our car flashed the dreaded oil light. Tom took us in right away and fixed us up. ( and drove us to McDonalds!) He took the time to explain things to us and gave us good advice for the future. This is the place to go if your car need fixing.

Ive been taking my car to Tom Altenau for at least two decades. Tom may not always be the lowest priced service center, but dont be fooled into thinking youre going to save money elsewhere. Altenaus product includes the peace of mind that comes with knowing what needed to be fixed was, and what didnt was not. Ive been quoted high dollar repair work by dealers and other bigger chain shops that, thanks to Tom, I came to learn were grossly over-priced and/or not needed. With car care, you pay for what you get, and with Tom you get integrity and quality work.

Been going here since about the time Tom owned it. Tom and his team go above and beyond for their customers. Made it a point to still go to him when I lived in Miamitown. Hard to find a trusted independent mechanic. If you need a loner just make sure you top the tank off on return. Wont do work unnecessarily needed. Fair price, always in a timely manner

I sent my 1992 dodge d250 here to be put back in time and my hood latch worked perfectly when it went there and was magically broken when it came back and Tom tried to tell me that it was broken when it went there when it clearly wasnt. I expected more from a local shop with a owner that was from my familys old church. Im very upset with how they handled the situation and they didnt even set my timing right. I will be telling everyone I can to avoid this shop in the future.
