This company charged me with theft!! I scheduled an appointment to get my timing belt fixed and when I arrived I waited about 8 hours until my car was ready! After 8 hours of patiently waiting and watching every other customer come in after me and leave before me. I finally got my keys just to start my car up and discover the same loud noise that was there when I arrived. Only to be given a bill over $500 dollars and the car was not fixed properly. They told me they would have to take my transmissions, engine and other things apart just to properly fix my timing belt. I told them when that happens I will pay them otherwise I will not give away that much amount of money And my car was still in the same condition before I had arrived. Now I have to fight these people in court because I am now being charged with theft!! not to mention I went to Midas a couple of weeks later and they fixed my car without having to take anything apart to get to the timing belt. I have receipts and will be presenting them for the sake of my innocence!!

Bill always gets me in and completes work in a timely fashion. Tells me up front if I should or not do some repairs right away. Honest and professional

Wasnt impressed. Booked an online appointment and got there, the manager said he didnt have an appointment for us even though we had the confirmation. Dropped it off at 10am. Mgr said it would be done by 12 noon. 3pm we called and he said it was done. Never got a call or anything. Then the AC was on full blast even though they only did a tire rotation. Which leads me to believe they got hot, sat in the car to cool off and used the AC. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

I needed my wheel covers replaced on my vehicle and stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. Although the guys were pretty busy with other customers, the service was completed on my car within minutes. The employees were all very courteous and professional. I have already made an appointment with them for other general maintenance. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for excellent service.

So silly me being very stressed went to the wrong Car-X location for a 10am appointment. The gentleman at the front desk could tell I was not having a good morning and even though they were completely booked, him and his team helped me anyway. I just needed a single tire replaced and they were able to get it done in less than 20 minutes. I cant even express how much I appreciated it.

This place!I bring my car to do the oil change, they didnt put enough oil in the engine. Now they dont want to take responsibility.And my engine is already damage.

Stopped in to get a oil change today same situations with my previous experiences have been the typical I need a oil change right now and everywhere is booked. I called about seven places this morning and everywhere was booked until next week. Called car x reading rd and they said they were booked but you can try to drop it off and we can get it done. This has been my response all previous times I have called and each time they get me in. Yes I had to wait about two hours but it’s done and gave me 5$ off the oil change. Really appreciate the effort and help. Thanks.

The manager Bill was awesome to deal with. The shop and waiting room were clean. They had new tires and alignment done in about an hour! Highly recommend this shop!

Staff was very nice and courteous. There parts are very overpriced. Truck brokedown and was barely able to get to there location. Was told the serpentine belt tensioner was bad, Price charged for the part 219.99. Part at Advanced Auto Parts 56.99. Was told that the idler pulley was bad, price charged for part 89.99. Advanced auto parts 27.99. Cost for serpentine belt 79.99. Advanced Auto Parts 33.99. With labor and parts the total price was 650.00. Wish I could have made it to a Chevy dealership. they are high but they would have only charged probably about half of what these guys charged. I wonder if they saw my situation and took advantage.

Stopped in bc tire had a leak......gave the tire air and then tried convincing me I needed a new tire and really should not drive off like that.....went down the street......20.00 orangey-red substance, patched for the life of the tire........their lying to the customer to get sales.......Yuk! Glad I listened to my intuition and yes drove off

Jonathan, the manager, is great. I took my car in for an oil change and he noticed a problem with the right front bearing and hub, which was likely due to a prior accident on that side. No one else had noticed it before, and he showed me the problem in person. He fixed it for a reasonable price and also took care of some tire issues I was having for free. Definitely recommend this place!

My rear driver side tire blew out while driving on the highway yesterday. Luckily, I was near the Galbraith Rd. exit. I carefully drove my car to CarX to get a new tire. The manager Donnie was friendly, courteous and helpful. Although it was nearing closing time, they were able to get my car in and take care of it quickly. I will be back for more service in the future.

Drop off my car in for a oil change later drove off about 45mins later my car is smoking and leaking coolant my mechanic uncle left his job and stopped by and showed me there was a big puncture in my radiator where it was he said someone physically would of had to do it and took it to another shop to see if they did the oil change they showed me the oil he said I doesnt look like its been changed in at least a year thats f up to me cuz I would take my car to them ever 3 months dont go to them there crooks and scam artist only my uncle will touch my car

I rearranged my day in order to accommodate leaving my car with them. When I came to pick up my car, I found out that they had altered my service without telling me. This means I only got half of the service I needed, and have to bring my car in again for another service.

My brother just took his car up there and they didnt even fix what he originally took it there for they fixed something totally different, then want to charge for a service he never asked for on top of still needing the original problem fixed. Had the car for 5 days, they are rude, doesnt communicate at all and fix other things without getting owners permission first.

I will never do business with Car-X again!! I had 3 different experiences and all 3 have considerably worse each time!! 1st time came for a brake job everything went great appointment was made and got me in on time and did a good job no complaints months pass I came back for a simple air filter change I set a appointment arrived on time I was assured the filter be in and it wasn’t got the run around from them something that easily takes 5-10 mins maybe less took over a hour no one never came in to give me a update! It took me to complain before I explained the details. Finally, the assistant manager came in rung me out and give me a card for one free oil change for my troubles. Fast forward to today I set appoint appointment for a oil change arrived in time again they got my car on the lift and called me in just to tell me they can’t change the oil because of the pan holding it in place! I got plenty of oil changes from other companies and never had a issue but they “mechanics” have issues but said if I get it replaced he can try to put it on there. Told him nevermind then mention he has financing what a joke! So it’s clear the less money you spend the worse the service you get! A bunch of crooks

Our belt broke about a quarter-mile down the street. we pulled in, told them what was going on and they had a belt that fit our car in stock. it was less than an hour and nothing but kindness, true lifesaver, because we were on a weekend vacation from up north thank you again to the whole crew at car X on Reading rd. We got to make it to the zoo because of these guys being so quick. But not only that, they also told me a few things I should look at on the car for the future. Plus the reason my belt was shredding was because a pulley was bent on the ac compressor. They said we would make it home and we did. I have been coming here for years to get oil changes and minor car repairs. Theyve always been great

I went to Car X on Reading Road today to get my brake pads replaced. The brakes had been a little squeaky. They took my car in right away and came back with an estimate. The guy had a long list of work they wanted to do including: brake pads, new rotors, cleaning, and 2 new tires! All of it came to $429 ($650 if I decided to replace the 2 tires). I was very upset because I wasnt expecting to have to spend so much. I told the employee I would have to come back.Later I decided to check out Midas across the street. After the very friendly staff looked at my car, they took me out to the garage to show me that my pads and rotors were still in good shape. I really didnt even need to have them replaced. They only needed to be cleaned. I went ahead and purchased the new break pads with a cleaning on the back brakes. It only came to $149. If you are thinking of going to Car X save yourself the headache and cross the street to Midas.

This car repair shop has friendly associates who do a good at diagnosing and repairing vehicles in a timely manner when the necessary parts are available. It is also on the bus line if you need alternative transportation.

I recently moved to Cincinnati and didnt know of any reputable car mechanics. I picked this one out due to the fact they are right down the road. My car kept overheating and smoking so I assumed I had a leaky radiator hose...I also knew I had a bad wheel bearing needing replaced. I had my car towed to this place and they fixed it. They replaced my radiator reservoir tank. Not 20 minutes down the road did my car begin smoking again...so obviously they didnt test it after they fixed it. I had it towed back and they called me the next day telling me that it would cost an additional 600 dollars to fix because this time they needed to replace the water pump. Annoyed and mad I gave in. The mechanic told me that since my car had so many miles on it that I should expect random things to go wrong and they couldnt guarantee that it would be fixed. He also said I needed to replace my alternator??? The next day I had noticed my car starting to over heat AGAIN and radiator fluid leaking all over the engine! PISSED, I took my car to CARX in West Chester off Union centre Blvd. The mechanics there are AMAZING! He took me out to my car and told me that there was probably nothing wrong with my reservoir tank to begin with, couldnt say anything about my water pump, and said my starter was completely FINE-, and he put green dye in my radiator to find any leaks and he showed me exactly what was wrong. It took a quick 2 hours of them fixing my car and Ive been fine and its almost 6 months later! This CarX dealership in reading off galbreath is terrible. Dont go!
