Update to my last review: I was contacted within an hour or less of my review and spoken to by the manager and asked if there was anything they could do to fix this situation. They agreed to take me this morning to finish off the job, turns out there was a minor miscommunication and there’s no true fault here. They did a phenomenal job on the final detail, very pleased and their customer service and ability to rectify concerns is phenomenal. Thanks again, Scrubbs team! My car feels brand new again ✨

Great service and quality workmanship. Im always happy with the work they do and the prices are reasonable. It does tend to take a while and I often have to wait a while for my car to be done as there is a line. But that is to be expected with how popular they are.and they have a gift shop to help kill time, and there have a really nice indoor seating area with massage chairs, outside seating also at the front entrance patio. Thank you scrubbs for making me want to keep coming back, and I tell all.my friends how great you are too!

WORST CAR WASH EVER! Paid $20 for their best exterior wash. It supposedly has a wax, and other steps/features. Well, they nvr ran it through the wash tunnel. They barely washed it with brushes. Never bothered with the roof. The wash was also supposed to include towel dry and tire shine. I dried truck myself before an employee came over to help. Even with that, I had to touch up spots that were still dirty and wet.I finally spoke with the manager, that was a waste of breath. I ended up getting my money back, but the whole ordeal was pathetic. I really didnt care about the money, I wanted my truck washed.Is asking for what I paid for still politically correct/socially acceptable? Or should I lower my standards to not hurt someones feelings? In their defense, the employees were in a hurry to leave. I think it was almost closing.smh.

Better @ washing and better at drying than the rest of the machine washes out there. The fact that its 100° outside may have had something to do with the fact that my car was completely dry afterwards though. No bug guts! & the front of my car was riddled with dead bugs so thats really saying somethin. FIVE Star$

They dont even clean the inside of your car anymore. Its basically an old drive thru wash just like any gas station.

This guys are amazing. I’ve been coming here for years and I always leave happy. Staff is polite, patient and very attentive. Great detail in cleaning especially the inside of the car. Spilled a cup of coffee in the passenger seat of my brand new truck. Brought it to Scrubbs and the steam cleaned the seat thoroughly and got the smell out for a very reasonable price. Very happy with their work and friendliness.

Well after paying 40.00 I was told my seats would have been vacuumed, they never touched them, And it was a New car the temporary registration that is placed on the front window for police had been ripped off, that should have never been touched! Very disappointed ☹️

Staff was having loud unprofessional conversations inside the store. Car wasnt completely clean on the inside. Dash was dusty, vacuuming was partial and center console was still dirty. My vehicle was finished and they didnt tell me and then told me that next time I should say something if I see my car sitting. Unfortunately, I wont be returning.

I left a detailed message and never got an answer. Its been almost a week. I guess Ill try calling.

Scrubs is good, maybe I am too picky

My car was filthy when I brought it in and afterwards it looked nearly brand new inside and out. Only reason why not 5 stars is there seemed to be some residue left over after the wash that dried quickly along with some missed spots. Nothing to get worked up about though.

Asked them to clean the inside. They clearly didn’t even wipe the interior. The vacuum job was so bad I went home and did it myself again! Waste of $40 I doubt they even used the products I asked for, and the cleaners threw out my receipt. If I could give zero stars I would!

Good job washing my truck

I brought in a oversized dirty worktruck and these folks returned my truck looking new. Excellent job performed.

4 1/2 stars. Had my car seats cleaned and they did an excellent job. Some residue left over from whatever they used, but nothing I cant clean myself. Will come back here to get my floors cleaned. They fit me in nicely between my apointments, and was allowed to either wait for them to be done, or take off for the day.

They make you sit in your car now. I did not like that at all.

I got a gift card for Christmas. The first carwash was handwashed. The exterior was so-so (left water streaks but it took so long, I couldnt wait any longer) and the interior was awful. The second car wash was after the high tech carwash remodel. It was second rate, both interior and exterior. Ive gotten better fundraiser carwashes from students raising money for their school programs. Also, a safety warning: the exterior wash is a mechanical wash with going through a tunnel with flashing, colored lights and brushes slapping against the windows. Do NOT have a person in the vehicle who has neuro or seizure disorder. It is a disaster waiting to happen.

It was fine as far as drive through car washes go. What made them a bit better was they welcome you to drive through again if car didnt come clean. That is a good thing cuz my needed to go through again.

Awesome car wash! Hand wash and vacuum were well worth it and left my car looking like the day I bought it. If you have the extra money, definitely splurge for their Executive wash. Look for coupons for a nice discount. Also the do complete auto detailing at fair pricing.

Scrubs does such a amazing job that everyone should take there car there and for not that expensive they clean inside and out all hand washed and cleaned. They truly bust there butts making sure you leave happy and super clean. Leave them a TIP they all deserve it. Fast and efficient even on there busiest days.

Car looks like new

So disappointed in the new Scrubbs. They used to hand wash your car... Now partly machines clean your car... Yuck! The back of my truck was not even touched!! I will NEVER go back. What a bummer...

Scrubbs is no longer a “hand wash” car wash. The quality of the new “tunnel wash” is horrible. I brought my fairly clean truck in for its weekly wash and the end result was horrible at best. The best part of the wash is the 30 second initial pressure wash by the attendant, after that the “ soap bomb” goes off! The wash brushes do nothing but drag over your vehicle leaving your vehicle still dirty. The rinse phase is almost no existent and when you leave the final stage, the blowers/ dryers, the soap really flies, all over your vehicle again because the rinse stage barely rinses your vehicle! Once out of the “tunnel”, i spent the next 45 min wiping off all the residual soap which left spots/ streaks on the entire vehicle! Glad i spent $ 20 bucks on what use to be a quality wash, so i can now go home and re-wash my truck! Will never go back or recommend scrubbs again!

Probably the best car wash I’ve ever been too. It might be slightly more then the others but you really get what you pay for. They have a nice little gift shop, public bathrooms, you can order lunch and snacks, they have massage chairs all while your car is getting cleaned. They also have a detail shop if you want to get your car looking Pimp.also everybody is always really nice. Props to the management for making this place the way it is.

I love this place for getting a car wash. They do a great job on your car even the folks outside getting to the minute details of drying done. Its reasonably-priced as well.

Bad car wash and will damage your paint. I got swirls and spoke with manager who does not know what she is talking about. said it wasnt on surface that it was in my paint. never had swirls before since new. then said I could buff it out o the surface so she contradicted herself. Just lies. Dont go here

Here is a car wash with eclectic cards, massage chairs, hot dogs, and a game to pluck stuffed animals with a toy crane. The car work is modest and glib but performed by nice people. I go there for the accouterments really.

This is the second time I have been here and paid for the works. My seats werent vacuumed and had to be sent back. I left and opened the back door and found that it wasnt vacuumed and the spider webs were still there.

Scrubbs not what it used to be. Before covid 19 was a full hand wash which is why I came to scrubbs. Now its an automated car wash with the spinning rubber or foam straps that slap your car as you drive through. Supposedly cleaning your car. Now its no different than any other car wash or gas station car wash but with a premium price. Very disappointing and I will not return.

I’ve been a customer since they opened.. they were 5+ stars back then. But the quality of the work has gone down so I stopped getting the ultimate wash. I gave it 2 stars because the staff are very nice. Maybe they could use a quality control proceedure to get back to the 5+ stars again??? Good luck Scrubbs team.

Beyond disappointing! Upon getting in my car it looked as if it hadnt even been wiped down. I told the attendant, he inspected and sent it through the inside cleaning station again. After the second time I just left! The car wasnt that dirty to begin but I figured Id get it cleaned before a long road trip. The dash still has dust where they didnt bother reach, the center console hadnt been touched, one gum wrapper I missed was still in there, and now it smells like moldy rags!!! I wont go back. I appreciate the attendant sending it through again but it was a waste.

They do a nice job but wait times can be long and the carwash is drive through.

On 7/20/19 I visited scrubs in Chico, I paid for a hand wash and was so disappointed at the effort their lazy workers showed, the person on the platform that was supposed to wash the top of my pickup put his brush down and walked off and the two workers on the floor each had a scrub in each hand just wiped along the edge of my truck, they didn’t wash the front or the tailgate and on the windshield and hood maybe wipe the scrub on 20 percent of those items, they did wash the side windows. The kid with blond hair with the sides of his head shaved should be fired, I assume this is his first job in the workforce. If this is what you offer and all you can deliver then I’m glad Chico has other auto washes to choose from.. SCRUBBS SUCKS...

Excellent service, but long waiting lines during busy hours. They do a good job detailing and express car washing. The number one reason I come here is because they recycle their water and are environment friendly. Good job!

Cost went up and no longer a hand wash.

They changed me $75.95 for wax and wash the car they did a poor job. They didn’t wax it and didn’t clean inside the edges of the doors, didn’t clean the cup holders and the dash board. They did a poor job in general. I feel I been ripped off. I’m never coming back to this place.

Ive been coming here for years. The current crew like easy work. I usually bring in my little Matrix and they do ok. I brought in my truck recently and they were too lazy to wash the lumber rack, clean some tape residue off my shell windows, or wash the bumper well enough to remove the bug stains. I paid 75.95 for a wash and wipe on wax and feel like I got taken. Sad to see the place declining. They lost a $20 tip

What happened to the quality? It seems that the level of give a damn from the employees has completely sunk to an all-time low. Too many times weve received the car with water spots, bugs on the front end, and completely overlooked interiors. When we ask to have them touch up the missed spots, they come back with a contentious attitude. I expect more for the $25 that I pay. Obviously, a few of the employees either dont want to work, dont care about their jobs, or simply do not possess a basic work ethic or standard,...or all of the above. You guys are a car wash. Washing cars is your specialty, unlike a drive-through gas station wash. One would expect to have a job well done when going to a specialist, no matter what field. The owner of this car wash has been done a dis-service by the few employees that dont care to do a good job. Unfortunately, we will not be taking our cars to Scrubbs any longer. We will be returning to Erics car wash on Mangrove and apologize for having ever gone elsewhere.

I have done different detail packages. Its a descent car wash. Just streaks left on the windows almost every time from drying them. Watching other cars leave, I seen peices missed that werent caught in the final inspection. For the amount of cars they are doing, its hard to catch everything.

They are very thorough and its a fairly comfortable wait, unless its really hot.

Great place to have your car washed before you go home and wash it yourself. Really builds your self-esteem. 😆

Spent $35 ultimate wash in n out with our new 2019 truck n got a $10 dollar job needs to spend lil more time on the care for that much money spent.. but great goodies in the inside of the store 👍

Went to the new car wash down the street from Scrubbs. Cheaper but they couldn’t get my work truck clean; I even went through three times!Then I came back to Scubbs. They did an awesome job. When it came out the first time, it wasn’t perfect and they weren’t satisfied. They put it through again. They must have spent a half hour on exterior to get it perfect. Won’t be going anywhere else again. Great job, Scrubbs!

Decent place would have gave them a four or 5 even but some of there workers are so rude and they have no communication skills. Ill go again one day but hope I dont catch the same workers there and hope for a better experience

They did an awesome job on my new van. Used the coupon out of the big yellow coupon book for $5 off. Was fairly quick and my little girl had fun watching the cars go through car wash from the very nice waiting area inside the building.

They do an outstanding job and hand dry your car, which makes it look showroom clean! Love it!

Third and last try. Attendant asked how he could help me today and I said I wanted the full service wash. He upgraded me from the $26.95 to $35.95 package without asking. I caught it at the register and the clerk tried saying that is the full service package, although their menu shows the lower priced one as full service. Part of the upgrade is cleaning floor mats, which I dont have. She called the assistant manager over to process a refund of $9 and he grumbled about being on break. No apology. No thanking me for being patient. Not a word. And just like first 2 visits, my car isnt that clean. There are crumbs obviously not vacuumed on the floor and there is still debris from dead bugs on my windshield.

I left a clean canteen at this car wash called the next day and they told me they had it, fast forward a few weeks of them being closed and me out of town and now its gone. Be careful these guys are theives so just mind what you leave in your car or in their lobby.

I dont review things ever, but Ive given this place several chances to redeem themselves and Ive paid more money each time too, thinking the more money I pay, the better inside cleaning Ill get, but no (not even after expressing to the attendant that I was unhappy with the last cleaning).. Its a huge waste of money in my opinion and Ive had to re-vacuum and re-clean the inside every-single-time, Im not exaggerating. Either the cleaning products they use are junk or the cleaners are lazy and in too much of a hurry to pay attention that Ive paid extra for a better cleaning job, I think its a bit of both and Im getting ripped off. Id rather go to the new place down the road and do the job myself for cheaper than waste money on hoping that Scrubbs will get it right the next time.

Best car wash place in town, with an awesome rewards system.

Really the only full service car wash in town. But they keep disappointing me. I love the fact that they will vacuum out my car and wipe down the the interior surfaces, but for the exterior, they basically just run it through the wash and then do a once over by hand to dry it. I pointed out some spots that didnt get clean on my minivan, and they ran it through the wash again and did a really good job on the exterior the second time. I expect to have the job done right the first time.

I have been going here for about a year and for the money you would think they would do a better job. I always have to ask them to wipe the door frames, near the wheels, etc. and I shouldnt have to with an executive wash. But today took the cake, as I was driving off I looked down and saw all of the silver change in my change holder was gone. So I called and spoke to Travis who tried to tell me it probably was just blown out by the air blower they use. Yeah Travis, that makes sense, but the pennies were still there. I hope the $10 in change was worth losing a loyal customer.
