RACHEL!!! I love her. She did my brazilian sugar wax and it was super fast and super easy - mind you it was my FIRST TIME and Rachel made sure that I was extremely comfortable from the moment I walked in and the whole time I was in the salon. I am going back again in about four weeks and I cant wait! The results are so worth it and I actually had FUN. The pain was a 4/10 at MOST. Would recommend my girl Rachel to everyone she is a sweetheart.

I loved this place. Super clean and professional! But let me tell you about Rachel! She was amazing! She made me feel super comfortable as a plus size woman! She was great. 10/10 honestly. If you book I would recommend to book with her! She most definitely understands the struggle of being plus size and will make sure you feel 100% confident and comfortable.

My first time, was very excited. The sugarista was very nice, and that was all. I was set to have my upper legs and bikini done. As a first timer, it would have been nice to have her explain the process, but whatever. Long story short, I left the shop still sticky. She didnt do a great job of removing all of the sugar and theres still a good amount of stubble/hair on my legs. Just not pleased and definitely not worth over 90 dollars.

I had my first sugaring experience here and I am beyond thrilled with the work that Carly did. She explained the process to me and asked questions about what exactly I wanted. She walked through after care steps with me and I was so appreciative for that. I would recommend getting this done over waxing! Today I received my very first Brazilian wax, and I was a bit nervous as to be expected, but OMGGG let me tell you about my girl Rachel! She talked me through the entire process which distracted me from the pain and made me more relax. Rachel didn’t do anything without explaining it first. She will not sugar coat ANYTHING about process, which I loved. For my first experience she made me very comfortable. My experience was so great that I booked my 2nd appointment before I left. I can’t say enough great things about sugar waxing and Rachel. My skin is very sensitive and I have a low tolerance for pain but my experience was wonderful! Rachel was so caring and truly took her time to prep my skin, remove every single hair I wanted gone, and spoke to me throughout the session to help since I was a bit nervous. I have to say that I will never go back to regular waxing again. I went for the first time, and this was by far the best waxing experience Ive had. A lot less pain, more comfort after completion, and wonderful customer service by my technician. I didnt book with anyone in particular, so when I arrived Carly took me in and she was absolutely great.She was very professional, talk me through the process, and made sure I was comfortable. I will never go back to regular waxing after this. Looking forward to coming back again.

I’m used to getting waxed, but my friend recommended me to try this place. I booked with Rachel because of all the great reviews she had. I ended up getting there 15 minutes before my appointment started and she took me back anyways. Rachel explained everything in great detail and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. We were laughing and talking from beginning to end. She was also very thorough, which I appreciated. It was definitely less painful than a wax. I’ll be making this my regular spot.

I’ve been to the other location on Michigan ave. Ive been getting waxed for about a year now. Today Was my first time at this location. However, I must say this is the BEST wax I’ve ever had. I booked with Aeja (Asia). She is very very detailed about her work. Made sure she reached every possible hair. She even sat on the table to be sure She left no hair at all. This had never happened before. The vajacial was absolutely admirable. My second vajacial but I had never had a steam treatment. She also did a hot towel treatment. Unfortunately, I found out she would not be returning back. This undoubtedly broke my heart. I have no idea if I could find anyone as amazing as her

I went to Rachel for my first Brazilian after shaving for years. She was super nice and talked to me the entire time To distract from the pain. She was informative about the process and gave recommendations on products and aftercare. She made my transition very easy. 12/10

I booked for my first ever sugaring appointment with Rachel for full legs. She is AMAZING and so professional. It did not hurt at all but she made sure I was distracted the whole time. Rachel from start to finish was the best experience I’ve ever had with a wax. I had gotten waxed for years but covid messed up my schedule. This was my first appointment coming off of shaving and it’s suppose to be the most painful, but the only tears I had were from laughing with Rachel. She was quick, efficient, but also meticulous, she didn’t leave a single stray hair behind. She was really helpful answering my questions and helping me find a product that was going to keep my skin hydrated through this awful winter weather. I’ll never go to someone else!

My esthetician was very patient and talked me though the process. Online it said that every customer received a free glitter tattoo but that wasnt offered which was a little disappointing. Make sure to ask for student discounts!

Carly was my technician for my first ever Brazilian sugaring experience and she was wonderful! I was anxious about the pain, but she was very kind and calmly talked me through every step of the procedure, what she was doing, and provided a thorough overview of the aftercare. I also cannot recommend the vajacials enough - I got the all inclusive vajacial which includes a hot steam, a peel, extractions (if you have ingrown hairs), a mask, and a serum. Really great add on to help jumpstart the healing process. Fantastic place and already booked my next appointment!

I had my first sugaring experience last week with Rachel. Ive been getting brazilians for over 10 years so I was no stranger to hair removal down there. But, I wanted to try sugaring just to compare the experiences. Rachel. Was. Amazing. Before she even touched me, she asked me about my wax history and gauged my comfort level. The room was clean and she was sure to give me her background. I loved that she did that. The service itself was quick with minimal discomfort. I really enjoyed how seamless it was. She even took the time to make sure she got everything and went behind the wax with tweezers. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I would recommend her and this location 100 times over. I dont live in IL anymore but I was in town visiting at the time. Im glad I booked this service with her. Whenever Im in town, she has a client in me.
