I love my haircut that I got from Stacy. The hairstylist was very skilled, I showed her a picture of a haircut I liked from google and she cut it exactly like that.I highly recommend getting a haircut here, I’d definitely come back!
Booked a couples massage and it started 45 minutes late. Not a huge deal, as we werent in a big rush, but that 45 minute wait was probably the most enjoyable part of our massage experience. They seemingly couldnt account for the next appointments as more and more appointments were running late, because we ended up with a hair stylist and nail tech as our massage team. At least, I hope they were just trying their best to help out, because my wife and I were convinced that this was the first time these 2 had ever touched human bodies before. The first 10 minutes of my massage were spent looking for a towel for my face to lay on, but she settled on pulling the sheet corners over about 1/2, just enough to make it hard to breathe... which was coincidently the most enjoyable part of the massage. The rest of that hour was like experiencing a shark attack from a shark with no teeth. It didnt hurt, but you knew it didnt feel right.For $135, I expected decent. I paid $11 for parking. I felt like $135 for parking in Chicago and $11 for that massage was a better way for me to justify this expense in my head.
The staff were friendly and the massage room was nice and calming. However, you can tell these were not licensed masseuses as I only felt like I was being gently rubbed on with oil. She took many breaks I dont know for what. The Groupon stated I was going to receive a glass of champagne and they instead gave us a little bottle of water. Also, the parking was hell. They say to park at whole foods and they will give a voucher. However, the whole foods security staff said they are unaware of this business. I asked the staff for a voucher and they said I needed the ticket. When you drive into whole food parking lot there is no ticket. I risked getting my car towed for this rubbing.
Irene was fast and good. I tried to use a Groupon which I couldnt pull up but the owner graciously offered same price. Nice calm aura and the interior is great. Recommend
After waiting 40 minutes for an appointment that ended up lost, the person I spoke with called me a Negative Nancy and told me to spread more kindness into the world. So in the spirit of that incredible customer service, Ill make this review as positive and kind as possible.If you do not value your time, energy and mental health, this is the place for you! I really wish I could give this place a great review. I have gone for two massages and had two starkly different experiences (hence the 2.5 star review). I purchased deluxe massages off of groupon. The first one was a nice massage with a nice glass of cheap champagne. The massage staff was a bit awkward in how they addressed the masks. They forgot to tell me I needed it until I flipped during the massage, so I had to get up during it and sift through my pants to find it. Cant really hold COVID issues against them though. I came, I tipped, I went home. They do offer parking out front, which is very nice if available.The second time I actually had a massage scheduled for my birthday. In brief, Mirror Mirror had no idea I was coming. They had scheduled someone else for a massage at the same time and couldnt accommodate me. They had a vague excuse about there being two booking systems and basically asked me to come back in some indefinite number of days for a massage. I dont live in Chicago so that wasnt going to work. Also, I didnt explicitly get an apology, despite this being my ACTUAL BIRTHDAY. Not an unforgivable sin, but I wont be going back.So moral of the story, Id call twice to confirm my massage at mirror mirror. Call once when you book it, and call the day of. If you do that, you shouldnt have any trouble and youll leave relaxed. Fail to call and you may leave the massage parlor twice as tense as you arrived.
When my boyfriend and I arrived for a couples’ massage, we were informed that they had us set up for a different time, about 30 minutes later than planned. No big deal right? Plus free “champagne”!The reason I have quotes around “champagne” is because I’m not sure if that’s what they gave us. What they gave us was so flat and warm that it was hard to tell what it was. Should have taken this as a sign.Fast forward 45 minutes, still no update from the employees, and we decide to leave.Can’t comment on the massage itself because we didn’t get that far. All in all this was a terrible experience.UPDATE: a few hours after I made this review, the salon sarcastically texted me “Thank you for your review May you always be perfect 😊”.

Stacy, Evie, and Evelyn were all amazing and attentive during our services. We came for my sisters birthday and got multiple services, (massage,facial, mani + pedi) ! Stacy took care of me and was comforting and a great conversationalist :)Evie did my nails and was as sweet as the ice cream that they got us for my sisters celebration!! (Which we sang happy birthday during)The girl who did my sisters massage and facial (who’s name I didn’t get) was very insistent on receiving her tip. We asked her multiple times if she could wait until we all put our tips together and she continued hovering. It was a bit unprofessional but the other employees were very sweet and reassuring of the situation. Overall it was a great experience and I cannot thank Stacy enough for the great service and handling of our situation
A group of us girls treated our best friend with a massage/facial/mani/pedi treatment and it was wonderful! The owner is so lovely, she bought the birthday girl ice cream. What a wonderful experience, thank you Mirror Mirror for an enjoyable trip!

When you want to complain or soak to someone above and the rude as receptionists she gives it fake addresses!!! I have picture proof of her giving me an address of a while other hair business called Mercedes Place! My husband and i called them and the owner of that business was furious and theatres mirror mirro salon sis with legal action and she replied was OkayWill call you day of your service to reschedule on their choosing of time. Wasted $120 on this trashy woman who calls herself a business owner. Giving us women a bad name. No one will disrespect me and get away with it.
I came here for a couples massage and pedicure. The whole experience wasnt great and made me uncomfortable. First, they dont do temperature checks or seem to take COVID-19 precautions. The massages took place in a dark basement- the masseuses didnt introduce themselves nor talk throughout the massage. They were generic massages and didnt attend to my specific needs. When receiving my pedicure, the area was very congested with employees. One of the employees was audibly annoyed about doing his job and made us feel uncomfortable. When I went to checkout, no one was there to take my information. It seems the employees/management are not organized and do not understand how to provide professional, courteous customer service. I will not be returning.

Came here for a birthday spa day, the experience was a mani/pedi, massage, and facial. The mani/pedi were great but the color selection is small. After that, I was taken outside to the building next door to a basement that had 2 massage beds. The massage was good and featured warm oils and towels. The facial was next and it was nice but a bit aggressive with lots of perfumes and exfoliation. After the services, I came back up to the main salon where my friends were located. The stylist that I was working with throughout the whole appointment then discretely came up to me informing that she would appreciate a gratuity. Not having paid for the services, I didn’t know how much I owed her. She was persistent and followed me throughout the salon until I figured out the price of tip. Great experience but being hassled out of a tip almost ruined it.

Worst business ever.. very unprofessional! I wanted to suprise my husband for valentines day but they were booked. Then they had a cancelation and booked me. When my husband and I came and made a 7 hour drive they told us they didnt have anyone under that name. They never made our appointment and didnt do anything about it. A waist of our time and money. I would definitely NOT recommend them to ANYONE. They were so unorganized and unprofessional they didnt try to accommodate my husband and I. They simply said sorry. Such a disappointment ruined our valentines!
I found a Groupon for the Couples Extreme Treatment for two. This was my first time getting a professional massage and my boyfriend has had a few, the two ladies were so nice! They answered all of our questions and made us feel comfortable the whole time. They both gave wonderful massages and always focused on the spots that needed a little extra TLC. 10/10 I would recommend! Can’t wait to go back next month!!

We had a terrible experience at Mirror Mirror. We had booked 2 massages via Groupon at noon, got there 10 minutes early, and wound up sitting in the store, ignored by the staff, for 40 minutes. I had to find someone to ask if there was progress being made regarding our appointment time after sitting there for 20 minutes, to which their response was to tell us they’d go check, but never came back with any updates. After 40 minutes sitting in the store, we had to track down another employee to have her tell us we should cancel, request a refund through Groupon, and that they’d email Groupon to let them know to refund the money. As if wasting almost an hour of our Saturday afternoon wasn’t frustrating enough, the refund process was a nightmare... the store never emailed Groupon about the refund, and when Groupon reached out to them to ask about the situation, they didn’t confirm the refund they had promised us, they provided their hours for us to look at. It took days escalating my case with Groupon until they finally agreed to issue a refund.
This salon is out here claiming they have a “corporate office” in miami. THEY DO NOT. If they give you Miami information they are LYING! I have already told them to stop or i will be taking legal action. This is by far the craziest thing anyone could do. RUN FROM THIS PLACE if they can’t be honest with their customers imagine what else they’re being dishonest with. SMH

I got a Groupon for my birthday from a friend... 30 min facial, 30 min massage, mani & pedi. I received a 20 min massage and a 20 min facial! On top of that all that was massaged was my back and back of my arm and half the time she barely touched me just running her fingers. The facial, well I’ve never had one to say it was good or bad. Than onto the pedi... I get told as I’m sitting down they will charge me $10 to take off my no chip polish... didn’t get that information before I got here! Or when I asked about trading the mani for a no chip polish because my nails are already done. I was told I can trade the mani for parrafin wax.. so I did and even that was terrible! If I can share the pic I took I will! Needless to say the wax was put in a hair cap that barely covered my foot, and was NOT evenly spread on my feet. The girl spread it after she seen me trying to do so! Big huge lump of wax on the back of one heel, no wax touching the other heel, just terrible!
The staff was amazing! The owner is super friendly and has awesome customer service! She treated us like family. My nail tech lady, i believe her name is evy? She was super friendly and we conversed the whole time. I will def be returning again!
SEE ANTONIA’s UNPROFESSIONAL RESPONSE TO MY REVIEW ON YELP!! After a massage at this salon I ended up in Urgent Care with Acute Conjunctivitis (PINK EYE) in both of my eyes. I purchased the Groupon prior to the pandemic and I had until the end of September to use it. I should have requested a refund after the sign I had that this salon was unprofessional. The first issue I had was that after I booked online and I drove 45 minutes Chicago I was informed that my massage had been cancelled because they had overbooked so they didn’t have the availability to accommodate me. So after paying for parking and wasting my time I was informed that they tried to notify me by sending an email which was sent to my job and I never got it since I was on vacation so the automatic reply that they received advising them that I was out of the office was . After they were unsuccessful reaching me they never attempted to contact the other customers to shift the appointments to accommodate everyone, but instead my appointment was cancelled without me being notified. After wasting time and money the only options I was given was to accept an 60 minute massage when I paid for 90 minutes since they were going to accommodate the other customers that was booked or I could reschedule my appointment. Now you would think at that point they would have tried to contact the other customer to explain the mishap and try to see if he/she would be willing to come in 30 minutes later so I ended up rescheduling my appointment before leaving the salon and driving another 45 minutes back home. At that time I was advised that prior to my appointment to avoid paying for parking again, I should call ahead of time so they could move the cones that were blocking the parking spaces in front of the salon. The day of my rescheduled appointment I called the salon 5 minutes before I arrived as I was instructed to do to let them know I was nearby and when I arrived nobody had moved the cones. Since the location is near downtown the area is very congested so cars were behind me and I had to drive around. In the meantime the called back and the receptionist rudely told me that I should keep riding around because someone would eventually come outside to move the cones then she hung up in my face. That was another sign that I should have just left but instead I called back and asked he why did she hang up in my face and she said she had another customer on the phone at the time, so once again I’m getting treated as if I’m not equally important despite the fact that I was returning after my first appointment was unknowingly cancelled. I told her that their service is terrible and I would like to talk to the owner and her response was to chuckle and tell me that the owner is 85 years old, so I took that as good luck getting a response from him. After I drove around for while until they moved the cones and at that point I debating on whether I should go home, but I decided to get the massage that I had paid for and at that point knew that I would never return back to the salon. When I finically arrived I was taken to the room and the massage table had sheets on it which I assumed that the table was disinfected and the were sheets were clean especially with COVID going around but I was obviously wrong because I woke up with Acute Conjunctivitis (pink eye) in both of my eyes which could have only come from visiting this salon because I work from home and have been quarantining so I have not been anywhere else prior to my appointment or since my appointment. So, I just picked up my prescribed mediated eye drops(Polymyxin B Sulfate and Trimethoprim)from the pharmacy and now I’m home in bed hoping that I don’t spread this infection to my daughter. I should have paid attention to all the signs that was telling me to avoid this salon and now I am out of additional money for going to urgent care and filling my prescription and I was unable to attend a funeral this morning for a family member in order to avoid contaminating other people. This was definitely a learned lesson!
The staff is very friendly and attentive. The quality however is severely lacking. My mani/pedi took 3 hours so counting for the cost, parking and tip I spent over $80 which would have been fine if my manicure hadn’t chipped the same day and been so uneven.
This establishment is very unprofessional and lack appropriate customer service skills. I was set up for an appointment and less than 12 hrs from my appointment this establishment called me at 7pm to cancel. The young lady was very nonchalant and inconsiderate taking for granted that they are still in business. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone

I bought a 90 minute massage through Groupon for 08/08 (Saturday) at 10am which also allowed you to schedule through their online system. I got there at 10am. The masseuses don’t get there until 10:30, so they check people in and my name isn’t on the system for a massage. Ok, wasted $9 parking but that’s on Groupon so I reschedule for Tuesday evening 08/11.They call me later that Saturday and say they have to reschedule me again so I schedule for Thursday 08/12.Thursday I have a plumbing issue (sump pump stopped working in my basement so EMERGENCY), so I call to ask to reschedule. The woman gives me attitude and my response is “You guys have asked to reschedule me twice which I did with no pushback— I am asking you to reschedule me once.” So she says ok and schedules me again for Tuesday 08/18.Well today 08/18 I call to confirm and guess who is mysteriously not in the system again? You guessed it! Me.So now I’m “re-scheduled” for tomorrow at 5. 3rd times the charm so we shall see.
This is my favorite hair salon. My stylist is Staci and she is awesome!!! Shes great at what she does. She is also very sweet and loving. Im always happy with theyre services. This last time Staci was out of the country and I needed to get my hair done, so I was set up with Irena. Shes really good. I was happy with the results. Got cut and touch up.
I booked an appointment for last week and had to reschedule it for this week, called to confirm on Wednesday and they confirmed my appointment and got there today and they tell me my appointment wasn’t in the system, that Groupon had kicked my appointment out of the system because my first appt. had been redeemed although I had not been seen. My service was great the first time but this time was terrible. They even had me wait for 20 min after my appt time to tell me I wasn’t going to be seen. I don’t even want to give my Groupon to someone else.
I purchased and scheduled an appointment for the couples massage for my boyfriends birthday I was so excited and they canceled it because they over booked to many people the lady was rude to me on the phone and said she couldn’t help me or make things work . Staci.oh my god this women is amazing! Theres a difference between a great haircut/service and a good one. Staci falls into the great category. I got the BEST haircut ever, an a-line Bob that was cut perfectly, which is hard to do with thick hair. Staci is so sweet an put me in such a great mood by the time I left that I cannot compliment her enough. PLEASE visit them, this is a hidden gem in the city!
I called to schedule a french tip/no chip manicure and just regular pedicure with no issues. (She mentioned the french tip would cost extra, as I expected.) I sat down at the manicure table and verified I was getting the no chip/french tip, and she said no the only person who can do that is only here certain days. So that was disappointing and I should have just left then but had wet toes anyway. My lady was nice, took her time and had great hands for massaging! I didnt see any sanitizing products but Im sure their tools are clean - I wasnt sure and was too afraid to ask. The towels they used were a little ratty also. Wasnt quite the spa experience I was expecting to have, but they were friendly.
When we arrived we were greeted right away and very happily. The room where I was massaged was very tranquil and relaxing. Maria was very friendly and accommodating. My only request would be to have the outside music a little lower so that the person being massaged doesnt have any outside noise. Other than that, I was very relaxed and satisfied with my massage. I had a very negative and unprofessional experience while trying to reschedule my appointment. The salon gave off a great first impression and we were super excited to try them. We made an appointment that was going to generate a total charge of ($450+)- Called the salon 5 days before our scheduled appointment during normal business hours to try and reschedule a spa day for 4 people. Left a detailed voicemail message asking to reschedule for the following weekend. Received a call back two days later stating they were unsure what appointment I was talking about-Called the spa again the following day, again during normal business hours. Was once again directed to their voicemail and stated that I wanted to reschedule our appointment, left all the relevant details again (name, time, appointment name, etc) and requested a call back to confirm-Never received a call back so I proactively gave them a courtesy call for the third time on the the day of the appointment to make sure they were aware we needed to reschedule as I never got a confirmation. Also never got a call from the salon the day before the appointment (as most salons do) confirming our appointment-When talking to the salon, I was treated very rudely. I was told I should have tried harder with my cancellation (I called the salon TWICE during normal business hours, nobody answered and left them very detailed messages). I was told thats too bad because we have 4 people waiting for you. At no point did they acknowledge my second voicemail or acknowledged that they failed to call me back. And instead of asking when we would like to reschedule, she said thats too bad, maybe another timeIve never had a salon be so unprofessional/rude to me. Im almost glad that we ended up needing to reschedule as we will not be seeking services from them.
Well I havent been here in about 2 years last time I had a Massage & Facial by Angie, I loved the atmosphere, the music, the oils Angie used on me. Never had I felt so relaxed. Im excited to be going back again this weekend. Hopefully I get the same person & the same relaxing mood😍😎😜

DON’T EVER GO HERE FOR A MASSAGE. Paid for upgraded deep tissue massage. Multiple times during massage i noticed she was only using one hand to lightly massage so I looked up to see that she was on her phone. Looked up again, same thing. Really concerned she may have taken pix of me. Called manager, Anne (extremely rude) to demand a refund. She instead offered another free massage - no way I was trusting this place for more.
Had my first massage here today with Laura, and it was amazing!!! I have to say this was absolutely the best massage I ever had. I recently had a baby, and my body just has not been feeling the same, but after this massage I felt like a brand new woman (almost forgot I had a newborn at home lol). Everyone in the salon was very friendly and accommodated some special needs that I had. I will definitely be back.
Just so you know, the owner is very unprofessional. Ann (owner) set up my appt for myself and sister, but only booked one person so upon arrival had to wait for other massage therapist to get there, then when I spoke to her about the problem over phone (because she is not on site) basically tried to dismiss my frustrations as though i could sit and wait, or just leave. Also acted as though a compensation wasn’t due for the inconvenience. First and last time here!!!! Very disappointed....
Staci was great! I have super curly hair and am always nervous about who cuts it. She listened to my concerns and was so reassuring that she knew what she was doing. She even showed me a new way of doing my hair that will make my routine so much easier. I definitely recommend!
I had a windwdul experience. Ashley gave me the best massage Ive ever had thus far. Relaxing after a very stressful day I dont think I could wind down to enjoy it but she was amazing and took my mind to another place of peace and relaxed my tense muscles. She was amazing!

Im quite upset with my experience here.When I walked in for my appointment, I was barely acknowledged; there was nobody at the desk, and was just told by a stylist to sit down and wait. Never asked for my name, just had me sit there for more than 20 minutes past my appointment time before talking to me. I considered just leaving during that time, since they seemed uninterested in my business, but stuck it out, guessing she was just overwhelmed at the moment.Definitely wish I would have gone with my gut and bolted! Everything about the service was the opposite of what I asked for. I brought in a photo of what I was picturing for my hair color - a bit darker with some bayalage. What she did, however, was make it a shade lighter! And threw in a few tiny highlights that are barely noticeable! I wanted to add dimension to my hair, and she made it a duller, mousier shade.She then asked if we were cutting hair - I said I did not come in for a haircut, but she could do a very short trim if she wanted to clean up the ends. I explained I was trying to grow my hair out. She proceeded to chop off two inches of hair, while lecturing me about how I needed to get haircuts more often to avoid split ends. It was incredibly condescending. She also implied that I was too low maintenance to be able to handle the color request I came in for.In short, my stylist did not listen to anything I said, was rude and condescending, and somehow made my hair look worse than when I came in. The vision I had for my hair is so much further away now. I am incredibly upset with this entire experience.

I heard a lot about this place on T.V so I came to get my hair cut and styled. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. My appointment was with Staci- I asked her for long layers that frame my face appropriately and thats exactly what she gave me. I am very pleased and will be returning!

Got a gift from for a facial to this spa. This is my first time to a spa. But over all staff was very friendly, store was not pack at all. I also got there 20min early then my appointment and they were ready for me. The reason I gave this place 4 stars cause felt like the music they were playing was a little cheesy it felt like I was swimming in China. Over face feels super amazing and did a great job. I had a wonderful experience at Mirror Mirror salon. Marketa is small, but her massage was packed with power! Also, I had a fill-in and pedicure which was very nice too. Manager was very nice and accommodating. I will definitely recommend to friends.

This was a wonderful experience! We received our first ever couples massage and the masseusers were very nice and accommodating! I will definitely be back!
I came here with my two sisters as walk ins for manicures without any problems. The staff was attentive and friendly. Its a great place to get a manicure after grabbing something to eat at the nearby restaurants.

Similar to other reviewers, I had a poor experience when I called to try and schedule an appointment. I had called with the intention of giving this salon my recurrent business (massages, hair appointments, etc). The woman who answered the phone was very curt and a bit rude, she simply said, no, when I asked if there was an availability. I expected more friendly customer service - asking me when I could come in, etc. I will not be attempting to re-book.
This place was great! They got me in on the day I called and the shop itself is very cute. The massage just hit the spot!
I stopped by Mirror Mirror to get a mani pedi. It is a nice, welcoming space and very convenient location if you are in the West Loop. My nail technician, Lauren was wonderful to talk to and did a fantastic job on my nails. My toenails werent in the best shape and she did a great job cleaning them up before a formal event. My nails looks beautiful and I just made an appointment to go back for highlights.
I have to say that every time that I have gone here, they have treated me as if I were part of the mirror, mirror family. They go above and beyond and really care about what I am looking for as far as my hair, facial, and body services and so far, I have yet to be disappointed. The only thing that is kind of frustrating is that they do ask to book online, but, you are not able to and most of the time that you call, their voicemail is full and you cant leave a message which if you are on a schedule, can definitely be discouraging. I am hoping with this review, hey will do their best to try and fix that and gain another start to make it 5 stars in my book.
Staci was quick and did a beautiful pixie haircut on me! She was sweet and we had a great conversation. They have free parking in front too!! Highly recommend her!

Lauren and Staci were absolutely wonderful! Had my first couples massage with my girl friend here! We had a fun girls day and the ladies were very professional and accommodating for us as we were only in town for a couple days and wanted to get a massage before our flight! The massage was very relaxing!! Definitly reccomend!
