Ive started seeing Amy since the Spring and cant say enough wonderful things. The salon is clean, and always runs on time. Amy is a consummate professional but also makes you feel comfortable (and distracts you from the pain! :) )

I went here optimistic because I’ve been trying to find a decent place to get a Brazilian in Chicago. Although the lady that did my wax was so sweet, it was easily the most painful wax I’ve ever received (and I’ve gotten 20+ Brazilians). I shook it off as I walked home but once I was able to actually look at the product, I was so disappointed. I still had quite a bit of hair and it wasn’t smooth at all. A week after I now have 5+ ingrowns which I never get and I’m most likely going to have to get rewaxed in a week or two when I usually only have to go ever 6-8 weeks. My hair is going to be on completely different growth cycles now and I’m so upset. Don’t waste your time or money!!

Really overdue review here. I am so happy this place opened up in my neighborhood. First of all, its extremely clean, the space is new and welcoming. The two women working there are extremely professional, and I have only had great experiences with all of my waxing needs. Its owned by a Japanese woman, and the products they use are of great quality. Its the kind of wax that doesnt hurt your skin. And best of all its really well priced in comparison to other salons in the area. Highly recommend it!

Easy to book an appointment using their online scheduler. Appointments are quick and Amy and Marie are both very friendly and attentive. The prices are also very reasonable, not just for being in downtown Chicago but for anywhere!

I visited Peachy Keen for the first time earlier this week. This is my new waxing place now! Maria was very nice and professional. I love their technique and it makes for a virtually painless experience .

I had an amazing experience. I received a Brazilian Wax for the first time. The lady made sure I was very comfortable. She talked to me during the process which really took my mind off of everything. I will definitely be back as soon as I am able. Loved their work.

For my trip to the Bahamas I wanted to look my best for vacation. I came in without an appointment and the friendly staff were able to get me in right away. After my pleasant back wax session, I made an appointment online the next day for a airbrush tanning session. I was hesitant at first, hoping my skin wouldnt come out streaky and or orange, but I got just the opposite. Now my skin looks flawless and natural- as if I came back from the Bahamas already.Not only is the location convenient, but the space has a relaxing vibe, comfortable for even male clients to come in, and the facility is very clean and sanitized.Ive lived in area for quite some time and it has been hard to find a stand alone waxing spa. This place is definitely a great addition to the neighborhood!

OK, not the best wax that I’ve ever had. They were in a rush and also parking is really difficult. I understand most people probably take public transportation to get there a walk but if you’re driving it’s going to cost you. Was $20 to park at the ramp for a 15 minute appointment

Great place! Went through groupon. The lady took the time to make me comfortable and literally got every single hair off including ingrowns. It was also painless! The products were great. Very professional. It’s hard to find salons in Gold Coast that are affordable.

Brazilian was done well..friendly staff...nice space...on time...when I paid, I was asked how much I wanted to tip. I dont like that. It feels like I was expected to tip.I am not obliged to tip, it is my choice. That moment took an otherwise perfect experience and turned it awkward.PS I dont tip at all when I am asked, How much do you want to tip?PPS Park across the street at Whole Foods for free!

Did the job but less than what im used to... no pressure applied after wax is ripped off. no numbing cream or spray offered.

Please do not EVER come here for a wax. I had a Brazilian from Peachy Keen 2 hours ago, and it looks like part of skin has been ripped off. As I left, I was still sticky from the wax. I was bleeding. And I still have little hairs left even after she hard waxed, hot waxed, and tweezed. I have been getting waxed for years now, and this is by far the worst experience Ive ever had. I am in so much discomfort. If I could- I would give this salon a negative star. Places like this should not be in business.

As an Esthetician myself, I’d reccomend Peachy Keen to anyone. I went in for a Brazilian after having quite a few horror stories and the whole experience was awesome. Lasted 20 minutes, the wax was great and didn’t hurt as much as others that I’ve had, my waxer had been in the industry for 30 years and it showed. Great conversation, comfortable positions, and clean. Very clean. 10/10 and I will absolutely be returning.

I had a Brazilian wax done and ended up with burns all over the area. I have had this service several times before at other places and have never had a problem. It is extremely painful and swollen.
