We got married at Lacuna Lofts over Labor Day weekend and everything was perfect! We had planned to get married in October of 2020 but COVID obviously derailed things. Mary and her team were very flexible and accommodating throughout everything. The day went off without any hitches and we couldnt recommend them more!

Amazing event space

Residential and commercial lofts. Quite exclusive and amazing. Building is well-secured and parking is ample. Plus, the roof top is an amazing space for city skyline views.

Have attended several events at Lacuna artist lofts.Its a very interesting place and Eclectic in style & Decor. There are several floors and each one is decorated differently.I strongly suggest it if you get the chance make sure you explore all the different levels.Its an old Warehouse building and they combine the old with the new and somehow it really, really works. Art abounds in this place, it is an artist Paradise as well as s photographers dream. Its beautiful and its only right, and truly a place that has to be seen to be appreciated.There are a lot of wedding receptions held here as well as special events. They have their own catering service, but they can accommodate you if you want something special. The food is excellent, as well as the many choices that are available.My biggest regret is that I did not check out the rooftop space. I have heard that it is absolutely gorgeous and not to be missed. Cant wait for the next event to be held here so I can go check it out and enjoy the view.

An awesome establishment for offices. Fits beautifully into the Pilsen art district. Love the artwork and the boutique shops like the tattoo place. Good people too!

My sons rooftop wedding was here. The views where amazing. The reception was fantastic, food and service was great.

We went to this venue for a wedding.The wedding was on the rooftop overlooking Chicago.Both rooftop and reception room were very nice.Lots of rustic but well up kept.The only problem was address is listed at Canalport however to get in you must enter from 21st street as it has a large gated fence around it.Because of this was harder for uber driver to know where to drop off and pick up.Not sure of cater for wedding but the food for that was fantastic as well.

We held our annual holiday party at Lacuna, through Lacuna Events. Highly recommend! They took care of so many details for us, from linens to catering. The event was perfect, and every requested detail was set up when we arrived.The space is spectacular, a little edgy but still classic. Great ambiance.Food, customer service, and vibe are all 5 out of 5!

Went to have my hair done again.

As a wedding planner, I work with a lot of different venues both here in Chicago and in Detroit. Due to the unfortunate effects of covid-19, my couple had to make the tough decision to postpone their wedding at Lacuna to next Spring, but I can say with confidence, that working with Veronica and her team has been nothing but stress-free, which is such a sigh of relief during such a difficult, emotional time. They have been SO quick to reply to emails, heartfelt and extremely accommodating. From the first email about moving their date to 2021 to sending back the new, revised signed contract, they have been personable, professional and truly such a pleasure to work with. I cant wait to reignite our working relationship when the time comes to put together all of the pieces for my couples big day next Spring!

Great venue for any event, stunning view of the city from the roof top!

Very nice venue. Open spaces abound here. If you like eclectic atmosphere, this is a good place to look for work space. Everyone is very friendly. Relatively quiet for the large amount of common space in the building. A little on the dim side due to the use of accent lighting rather than standard office fixtures.

Nice locations to hold meetings and events but they need to provide more drink and snack machines. There is no store nearby and people in meetings need drinks and snacks! They only had a coffee drink machine which isnt refreshing on a hot day. Their pop/water machine was not working. No place to purchase a snack.

Was there for a roof top wedding. Nice up high views of downtown Chicago. Ancient eclectic styled building. Looks like it has been patched up and cobbled together a thousand different ways over the years. Was interesting to just walk around and look at the various rooms and artwork.

Beautiful space! Went there for a wedding and it was just amazing. Beautiful view of the skyline from the deck and the reception area was just magical!

A very very unique collaborative office space and venue. Each floor is decorated with thousands of items and the venue space is beautiful. There is a rooftop deck with views of the downtown skyline - best view from the southwest side in my opinion. It is home to many creative people, businesses, and nonprofits. Weddings are quite popular here as well.

Recently landed a gig booking events here at the Cafe Lacuna, located on the bottom level of the loft space. A beautiful building decked out in local art, this space holds over 100 artists and there studio space. I had a chance to look look around and, long story short, I was thoroughly impressed!

Their space was too large for our intimately sized event... But their events director was simply the most helpful person Ive met in a long time! She offered up a number of other options that would be more well-suited to our size. Thank you so much! We will definitely keep this space in mind for the future!

I’ve been to the Lacuna Lofts twice within the past month. The first time was for a wedding. The wedding had amazing views of the city from the roof of the building. The second time was for a National Sales Network event at Blue Lacuna on floor two. Blue Lacuna is similar to an office sharing space but so much more unique. The decore and set up of Blue Lacuna really fosters creativity.

Really beautiful but too small for what I needed. They may work for someone else.

La Cuna lofts has so many businesses inside. It’s a very trendy place or new form of a business mall! Come check out anything from hair salons to pole dancing workshops! My only disappointment is that there is No directory!!!! Luckily I asked around and everyone was so helpful. Perhaps I could have been on time to my appointment if a directory was around!

Lots of vacancies due to increase in rents and now you are forced to pay for parking.

THIS PLACE NEEEEEEDS directional signage or a You are here dot board. The floors are sooo very confusing and not each business is marked or at least so it seems. Now on the plus side it is a really cool, funky building with art around every corner. I just wouldnt want to be caught there during a blackout.

Lacuna venue is great. But the service was terrible. I spent a lot of money and countless hours working with the LM Catering and event manager leading up to the wedding. Only to have guest, bride and wedding party come and have no elevator attendant, no one available to assist. When I ask for assistance, I received a little bit of an attitude. I would not spend the money here for the service.

Huge empty artist space that companies can rent out for parties which is how I got to experience this place. Recently went to a party hosted by Goose Island so there were lots of free flowing beer and food. This place is in DIRE need of more washrooms. With the capacity in the hundreds (if not 1000) there were only 2 stalls for the womens washroom so waiting in line after a few drinks can take up a lot of your night. This place is only as fun as the company renting it for the night and its not as easy to get to.

I can not say enough great things about Mary and the space its self. I am 15 days away from my wedding and if it were not for this amazing team I would for sure be stressing out. Mary has made sure to be very informative and attentive. She has always taken the extra time out even when I am sure my fiance and I were being Bridezillas (yes two brides, she should get an extra medal)!Everything from our original viewing to the tasting to the planning has been 5 star. I will follow up this review with an after wedding post as well but I have no worries.Thanks Lacuna!!!

I got to photograph a wedding here and it was one of the best venues Ive ever shot at. There is so much to take in. There are so many places to photograph the couple. Its a great place with a great staff.

We booked Lacuna Artist Lofts for our January 2016 wedding. We knew we wanted a space in the city and wanted a unique space. When we looked at Lacuna, we knew it was perfect for us. Ill start with the space- since we got married in January, we were not able to take advantage of the rooftop (but if you get married in the spring, summer or fall, it is one of the BEST rooftops in the city- the view is amazing!). We booked the Reverie Gallery on the first floor. It is a very large room with tons of space. We did a seated dinner for 180 guests and the tables probably took up about half of the room. We used the other half of the room for the cocktail hour. It was nice that we only had to book one room for the event since the space is so large. We also had enough space for a pretty large dance floor (which was great since we hired a band). There is just SO much interesting artwork to see in the space and all around the first floor. The murals and artwork are always changing so there is always something new to see! The bar is made of an old shipping container and we were able to commission a local artist to paint a mural on the side of it for us.Lacuna has an exclusive caterer, LM Events. I actually liked this because then I didnt have to go out and separately book a caterer but if you want someone specific, this is definitely something to know. Lacuna worked with us to customize a fantastic menu. They have set packages but are open to work with couples to make the packages work for you. We did a food and wine tasting a few months before the wedding to pick out everything that we wanted. The food on the day of the wedding turned out great as well.Lacuna has a good team over there. We worked with Mary throughout the process and she was very helpful to us and worked well with our other vendors as well. Everyone on the staff is knowledgeable and seems to really believe in what Lacuna has to offer. I think this space is going to take off in Chicago because it is honestly so unique, interesting and just plain cool. If you are looking for something a little different for your wedding, please take a look at Lacuna. I hope you fall in love with it like we did!

Horrible service. My Fiance and I visited at least 10 venues for our wedding. Lacuna was our top venue out of all the venues we toured. So we emailed Marry about getting a pricing proposal and scheduling a tasting (that we were going to pay for). At the end we emailed for about 2.5-3 months and I never got a pricing proposal. At All. (my other two favorite venues, got us pricing proposals a week after we had asked for them). For scheduling a tasting, Mary gave me one date in the middle of the work week, I emailed back and told her that my Fiance and I worked during the week so the weekend is better (most venues have tastings on the weekend because of this!). After 3 weeks, I had to email her again to respond to my previous email (Hint: if you have to email a venue to respond to your last email after 3 weeks, that is not good!) Mary then responded with another date, and guess what?! It was in the middle of work week, again. Which I had already told her does not work! Mary told me it that same email that tastings were booked up until December, when I had emailed her in early September. I dont understand how tastings can fill up so quickly when she takes 3 weeks to respond to ME. Obviously, she does not care about my Fiance and I and our wedding day but about others wedding days more. My fiance and I had a timeline set out where we wanted to get all of our venue tastings done by the end of December so we could make a decision by Janurary. We were willing though because we liked Lacuna, to push back our timeline and have a tasting in Janurary. So I emailed Mary back about tastings in Jan. But guess what, its been 3 weeks and no reply! This is so unproffessional. It is a beautiful venue, but do you really want someone like Mary having a hand in your wedding day? I have no trust that things would get done on time (I mean she takes a month to respond to emails!). We have chosen a different venue because we want to trust the staff we work with and know that the staff is there to make sure we have a wonderful wedding day.

Great venue space, nice rooftop deck and entrepreneurs/ businesses galore.

Nice place but a bit to pricey for some of the attitudes of the employees......my brother has been filming there and dancing there for a long time just to get a nasty attitude frim the white employee saying they are trespassing and cant record there..she was very nasty in a calm manner and it needs to be addressed.

Confusing locale-too many doors and no guide to the space is posed outside or within. And those doors get locked behind anyone exiting with no warning and way to get back in. Its nearly impossible to use the elevators, as theres no clearly marked access to them and you may not even know theyre there or how to get in one unless youre from the venue. Not a welcoming space.

Awesome space converted from the largest macaroni/pasta factory in the country. Lots of small business spaces for graphic artists, tattoo parlors, stylists, designers and decorators, internet start ups, vape shops, and killer event spaces.

From a facility standpoint the Laguna Lofts were A+ it was a gorgeous August evening and the view of downtown Chicago from the rooftop was beautiful. The downside was that the elevator was out and the trek up 5 flights of stairs was a little exhausting.Now to the actual dinner hall and setup again I would give them an A+ the wedding I attended had roughly 300 guests. This means they had the wedding party table and then 30 tables seating 10 per. Walking space was adequate nice size dance floor.That is where my praise of this facility STOPS!!!! Unfortunately I was at the one table they somehow forgot to serve dinner to ( I kid you not) as they were cleaning the rest of the tables of their empty plates I said to a very young waiter we have not been served yet, he just laughed at me walked away and came back 5 minutes later explaining they were out of the particular meal half the table had ordered (again I kid you not). I asked to see a manager who refused to come out and sent her flunkee with no answer other than take it or leave it, I then demanded the manager come out or I will cause a scene which she did, explaining that the meals are catered and only so much is ordered and people must have changed their original pre- ordered meals offering absolutely no resolution other than we can substitute the originally ordered chicken with a vegetable plate ( now keep in mind they dont really have a kitchen and catered the meals so where are the vegetables plates going to come from?) I reluctantly agreed to the steak dinner which by the way was served ICE COLD like the other 9 people at my table!!!A few more tidbits, the sound system was terrible kept cutting out so we couldnt understand half of what they were announcing we couldnt hear the Best Man or Bridesmaid speeches so BOTTOM LINE THE LAGUNA LOFTS GETS AN OVERALL GRADE OF D- !!!!!!Dont be sold on the beautiful view or the menu they will try and sell you on, MY ADVICE IS FIND ANOTHER FACILITY
