Virtual Mail has helped me to put my business on the map. It’s an affordable way to put forth a professional business presence, boost the SEO of my website, and improve my Google My Business. I also like the Virtual Membership, and related virtual events. I have met clients at the Curate Connections speed networking event. The facility is beautiful, and I like the Zoom Rooms, video podcast production studio, and private offices. Free parking in a safe neighborhood is another plus. No wonder University CoWork has won awards, including best of coworking!

University CoWork shared office space in the Woodlawn neighborhood of Chicago (near Hyde Park, Bronzeville, Washington Park, and South Shore) is a great business development vehicle. There was a total lack of professional space on the south side. No more. Now that University CoWork has opened, there is no better location to hold meetings, conferences, receptions, or events on the south side of Chicago. People can reserve space for $20 an hour. Members can use points which are included with memberships, and reserve meeting rooms (and then unlock the doors), right on the app.The community is alive - both helpful and vibrant. The amenities are A++. Parking, printing, scanning, commercial projection TVs, a video wall, three types of coffee (including nitrogen cold brew on tap, locally-brewed options, local beans, etc.), drinks on demand, and corporate wifi speed and security. Whether in the gorgeous kitchen/break room, a meeting room, boardroom, or events space, clients will walk away impressed. Its both comfortable and productive. I can both socialize and concentrate. What a great addition to the burgeoning southside business community!

I attended the official launch of University CoWork in November of 2018. What an elegant event. Music and food was provided by local south side businesses. It is amazing how much the community has grown and thrived during the past year. From monthly community events to educational seminars, this is the premier business and economic development center on the south side.It’s amazing how many talented people are based on the south side of Chicago. The community is made up of people from Woodlawn, Bronzeville, Chatham, Soith Shore, and Hyde Park, among other south side neighborhoods. We finally have top-notch amenities!Where else can you get a virtual office for $50, scale a business, hold a meeting, conduct a workshop, or host an event? Combine this with Class A office space, great people, and amenities like coffee, drinks, printing, meeting room access, and member social events for $95 (flexible membership) per month? No wonder it was named the Best in Chicago 2019 by Chicago Magazine!

University CoWork has helped my business in SO many ways. The office space has improved my productivity dramatically, allowed me to have a professional setting to meet clients and improved my overall brand. But University CoWork is much more than just an office. It opens up a network of opportunities to work with other business owners. I cant say enough about University CoWork! It is an asset to the community.

I cant say enough positive things about University CoWork and how they have made me and my clients feel so at home. Finding office space on the south side has not always been easy. But they have made it easy and exciting. Being so close to the university, downtown Hyde Park and the lake are bonuses. And being able to learn so much about the community and other members businesses and organizations make it even better!

This is a great place to work if you work from home or are a graduate student. The amenities are great and people are friendly and its a much better price than other Big Chain co-working spaces. Parking is easy and I highly recommend it.

Cool building, great community, over the top coffee and Kegerator coffee. Totally automated door locks with cell phone app. Fun people, weekly wine tastings, with supportive, engaged, and interesting businesses. University CoWork also heavily promotes its members.

University CoWork has been great for my wealth management and financial investments firm. Located in Merrillville, Indiana, our second location was in downtown Chicago. We wanted a professional office with a more neighborhood feel that is accessible to our south side Chicago clients.When University CoWork opened last year, we immediately closed our expensive downtown office and got a $95 flexible membership, and then upgraded to a $295 dedicated desk. This allows us to do occasional work on the south side of Chicago. We now have a professional presence, and can meet our clients at our office closer to where they work and live. I love the phone and meeting rooms. Great technology. We are able to offer our clients parking and coffee in our beautiful new space.Our firm also hosts investment events in the University CoWork boardroom, classroom, and event spaces. The video wall with intrgrated speakers is a crowd pleaser.The first financial services firm in Woodlawn in decades, I particularly enjoy bringing knowledge related to investments and retirement accounts to the neighborhood. Dozens of people who have attended our talks have learned about and set up tax-friendly retirement accounts as a direct result of being exposed to this information.We have also hired people from Woodlawn, and patronize south side vendors as much as possible.I strongly recommend University CoWork to anyone looking to grow their business. The facility and business / nonprofit community are unmatched. The other members have complimentary areas of expertise. Many have become vendors, clients, and friends. I have learned about branding, how to build business credit, social media, and even how to use art to engage people. The $50 virtual office, private office, shared office, membet-only events and socials, and communuty events are unparalleled.

Great space for entrepreneurs

Where can you get downtown amenities in Woodlawn? University Cowork truly offers a professional atmosphere, great coffee, and a business network. I truly love the “Lunch and Learn” workshops ...I have learned a lot at the workshops ...the Google workshop, the Tax Planning Strategies Workshop and the Business Credit Workshop was my favorites. I’m not sure if there’s any Coworking space that cares so much about it’s Members. I understand why Chicago magazine calls this Coworking space is ...the best of Chicago!! Congratulations University CoWork!!
