I was reading reviews and trying to see if this place was good and I was getting mixed reviews. Getting my acrylics done was amazing and they look so good. She was super nice and helped me out. I would say just make a appointment and don’t go when it’s busy!

Wouldn’t recommend this salon and am confused on the good reviews. I got a no-chip manicure and they did a terrible job. First, you can see obvious, textured streak marks across my thumb. They were cheap with the number of layers, and there’s a hideous yellow tint on day two. These photos were taken hours after I had them done and you can clearly see they left an obvious spot between the cuticle and polish, plus they missed the sides.They do not honor appointments and rushed through my service to squeeze someone else in.Not worth the money at all. Go somewhere else

I found this place! I went to another salon that was too full and I would have had a 45 minute wait. So I googled nail salons within my proximity. Sparkle was 1.5 blocks away in MetraMarket. I left my car and walked. I was in and out with a spa mani pedi in about 80 minutes! Great nail color and polish selections. Clean and nice decor. Prices were great also. Great pedicure. Good manicure.

Consistent experience each time - I’ve gotten no chip many times and it’s lasted longer than any other nail salon. Very clean, efficient. During covid, I’ve called ahead to ask the best time to come in and they’ve been very accommodating.

I found this little jewel after walking out of Madelyn Chicago nail salon because of there absurd prices, I live in Scottsdale so I’m used to high prices but anywho. I walked in and they were so polite and I wish I got her name but literally the best nail tech I’ve encountered in like 5 years. I absolutely loved this place and I haven’t seen service like this in a very long time. I have natural nails and she was so gentle to not brake them. I seriously can’t say enough great things about this place, clean, professional, friendly & 5 star experience all around. Thank you, I may start having to do layover in Chicago just to get my nails done properly lol

The first time I came in was because another salon was booked and couldnt take my walk in. The salob wasnt crowded and they were able to seat me right away. I saw Eva and she gave me one of the best manicures ever. I got a fill in and no chip and my nails looked SO perfect. She is so friendly and takes her time to get the shape right. The next time I came back was for a new set and though it took awhile to soak the old set off, the end result was 100% worth the wait. They just got rid of a bunch of old colors and got some news ones and they are all so cute! The salon is always neat and clean as well. Definitely a solid spot

The ladies and 1 gentleman working there were very nice. This is the second time I have ever had my nails done. Needless to say, I have no clue what the process is like. No one there made me feel weird for not being an experienced patron. Mai especially was very nice to me. Definitely ask for her when you go.

This is the best nail salon I have ever been to. First I went in there at 630 pm (not knowing they closed at 7) they still took me and did my nails I had to catch a train at 730 and when they realized it was almost time for my train they hurried and got my nails done BUT! They are still perfect!! I live in Utah and wish I could move close to Chicago just for these lady’s nail services. If I could give them a 20 star rating I would.

I am so impressed with my service here. Everyone was so friendly and it was super quick service. Im really happy with how my dip manicure came out and normally dont write reviews but had so share this experience!

This is my third time getting a no chip at Sparkle and I have to say, they have lasted 3 weeks. For me, thats excellent!! I work with my hands a lot, cooking, cleaning, etc...and my nails have endured it all. Definitely recommend Vivian! Also, Sparkle is located in French Market, theres great food, Mon-Fri, limited on Sat, however Sparkle wasnt overly busy on the Sat I visited. My friend gets her nails dipped there and she has no complaints!

I visited the Nail shop on 7/1 at 6:30 pm to get a gel fill. However when I left the salon I was able to see what a terrible job the nail tech did. I have spaces between my cuticle and where the gel polish started, excessive layers of gel polish and lastly my nails are dull. The nail tech quickly took my money and told me good night. I was so disappointed at the job she did. I decided to right a review instead of confronting the technician. I will not be back to this nail shop. I thought I found a place to go to since I just started working in the area.

Just had my first manicure here. The salon is clean and professional and conveniently located at Ogilvie Station. My nails look amazing - one of the best manicures I have ever had. Cannot praise highly enough. Will be going here for all future manicures.

Worst customer service ever. I would recommend walking another 2 blocks to a better place. The quality is not good, my no chip would be off the nails just in couple days. They are not gentle with instruments and do not sterile them. On top of it, when they tell you to wait 20 minutes it will turn into one hour. Do not go here!

I came during my lunch break and was able to be squeeze in a pedicure. I also needed a manicure so I scheduled an appointment for the following day. The next day when I arrived, I was completely ignored the first 10 minutes I was there and my appointment was disregarded. Will not be returning.

After an hour and half for a no chip manicure. My nail polish chipped. Go at your own risk. Very poor service

Love them...my nails have never been this good

I get manicure and pedicure pretty regularly and I will tell you, you dont get what you expected here. No attention to details or what so ever. The girl who did my nails looked like she really wanna get outta here. The way she pushed the cuticles is basically scraping the half of my nail off. When she was filing the nail surface, she couldnt care less. I can see the file mark after I took off the nail polish. Hang nails arent taken cared of fully. I never walk out of a place thinking all these basic things she should have done.For those who do fake nails, the girl next to me was getting hers taken off. And I only noticed because the fake nail snapped in the process. I dont know fake nails enough but that was enough to know I wont get it removed here.But hey, its 17 bucks for regular manicure. Its in a train station where you can get quick manicure while waiting. If you dont mind the details, it probably is a decent choice.
