This review is a little late so my nails have grown out a bit. I got acrylic removal and a new full set about a month ago and love the results. Lilys is definitely my new go-spot for acrylics, no-chip gel and design. My nails are beyond the expectations I had for the design all by showing one picture. Everyone was friendly, place is clean. 5 stars!

After my longtime nail salon closed, I have not had luck finding a new salon I can trust...until today!We were able to make a same-day appointment, and were greeted by super friendly staff. They had so many colors to choose from, and were helpful in explaining the differences in services and prices.Lily was so nice and the prices were extremely reasonable for her attention to detail!I know some of these past reviews were from previous ownership, so I encourage anyone looking to give Lily and her team a try! You won’t be disappointed.

This establishment is wonderful. Andrea is warm and friendly. She leaves me feeling fabulous and wanting to show off my hands. I had never had a dry manicure before, I love it. So quick. I now prefer it against the other methods of manicure.Andrea has the skills and the tools. She has a little box where she keeps her extra sparkles and things to accentuate your nail art, should you opt for the pizzazz. I emphatically recommend Andreas artistry.I trust Lilys Fantasy Nails & Spa so much, that even brought in my partner for couples pedicures. Andrea and Lily are always accommodating.Pop in whenever you need nail love and a good laugh.

I typically do not go out of my way to write reviews but I have to say I am completely unimpressed with the service I was offered at Lily’s Fantasy Nails. I made an appointment in the morning and was able to be seen the same day which was awesome. However; it took 2 HOURS to complete my pedicure, a pedicure I ended up not being satisfied with. I then sat for a gel full set with a different nail tech and all I can say is that the end result was very sloppy and poorly done. The nail tech did try to slightly compensate me for my troubles but It was no where near enough and I am still appalled at how unprofessional my nails look. The nails are not true to the designs you see on the website or their Instagram. Please do not waste your time or money. I will also say I felt no true remorse for my frustrations which I expressed before the end of the service. Extremely disappointed

I took a chance on this place in a pinch for time and am very pleased with my experience. They got me in right away and the nail technician did a nice job to pay attention to detail of manicuring my neglected toe nails. Ask for Mayra. :-)

It was my first visit but could not be happier. I will be making this my regular go to nail place. The gel fill was done with more care & attention to detail than other places. It is going on 3 weeks and my nails still look amazing. The owner Lily its super nice and easy talk to. I dont remember the name of the girl that did my nails but she was great and did an outstanding job on my nails. They accept walk-ins but I recommend making an appointment Street parking available right next to Lilys

Don’t fall for the Instagram photos like I did. I ended up with nice nail design but the cons unfortunately far outweighed the result. Waited an hour and a half with an appointment. Staff gave little to no direction or updates. Owner was rude (to customers, talking on speaker phone, etc.) Unsanitary tools, surfaces & bathrooms (no soap…) I was also charged for every last detail. With all of the nail salons around, Lily’s is not worth it and I will not be back. PS they charge $10 to take off polish.

This place is really unassuming from the outside, Ive lived in the surrounding area and worked in Wicker Park for years and never thought twice about this salon. After the old spa I used to splurge at closed, I did some research and decided to give Lily a shot. And...Lily was great! She checked in with me every time we moved onto the next part of my manicure. I havent gotten my nails done in a really long time and Lily made sure I was comfortable an was very kind to me. Shes easygoing and easy to talk to, and she gave me the most fabulous black tip french manicure! Ive never gotten acrylics and I adore these. The price is really great especially with the skill behind it. If youre like me and looking for a forever salon, this is the place! I cant wait to try something new next time.Also, Lily is very careful with COVID. She wore a mask the whole time (masks required for all) and keeps the operation small. It was just her and one other nail tech, and only 2 customers at a time. I felt very safe and was glad to give her my money. Lily, I will be back!

The lady/owner at the front desk was pleasant on the phone and in person, which was the cherry on top. Because the actual service performed was amazing. My tech was Myra/ Mayra and she took her time doing my pedicure and didn’t rush like some other places do. My feet look AND feel GREAT!! And let’s be honest feet are not the prettiest body part but mine are so good that my boyfriend will enjoy them too. I went at about 715/730pm. Google is currently wrong because they close at 8. My point is I would most definitely recommend and will certainly be back.

I have come here for lashes, nails and pedi and always have a great experience! Lily will make sure youre happy with your service and give you want you want! Ive never had problems getting an appointment even when shes always busy. My pedi has lasted over two weeks with no chipping, Mayra is really great too!

The other day I came in for a gel manicure. Apparently the person I had was new and when I walked out of there I was miserable. The nail polish was not even close to good. The layers were off and far away from my cuticles. My cuticles also were not pushed back and I was there for 2 hours just for a gel manicure...not to mention there was nail polish on my skin. I’m sad I even paid for them or they let me because the owner looked at my nails before I left. All they care about is money rather than their customers. Normally when people are new there’s some type of discount. They definitely lost a loyal customer.

Lily was amazing. She did such a precise job on both my nails and toes. I will definitely be going back to her.

Came to this place after my usual nail place was booked, have been here three times in a row since! They’re quick and efficient :) left with pretty nails today! Will come back! Tim is super sweet!!!!

Lilys is great! They are super friendly, and always willing to work with me on my crazy designs. Its great they allow for some discounts, especially for frequent flyers like myself. Plus, always good music and good vibes.

Like others have mentioned, my experiences with acrylic tips and gel polish always look great and last ridiculously long - well into the 3rd week still looking beautiful.My Cats Eye design was super, also lasting 3 weeks.Lately Ive been having fun with Hologram and Chrome manicures. I havent tried Dips yet, but Ive watched others get that service and want to try it myself soon.The Owner - Lily, is an accomplished technician. She learned and plied her skills in China, specifically the progressive province of Shanghai where she won Awards for her Nail Art and designs. In fact, its where she met her American business executive husband who was living and working there. Like the movie Pretty Woman, what began as business every few weeks as his preferred Mani/Pedi tech, grew gradually to familiar friends, and eventually to marriage and children. Then retirement and a move to his hometown of Chicago where he looked till he was satisfied, and here they are! Their goal is a blend of Quality & Variety.. something for everyone, and done well.Im super glad I found this gem, and that an easy friendship was formed. 2020 and 2021 have certainly been challenging for everyone of us. My suggestion is to book a service, and come see for yourself. Relax and enjoy a bit of pampering.You deserve it.

I got a full set w/ an untraditional French tip. Lily did my nails and did a phenomenal job. She was so thorough, and clearly cared that my nails were done as best as possible. Love that I found a new nail salon by my apartment. Would recommend to all in the Chicago area. 🤍

After moving neighborhoods to wicker park area I had to find a new salon which for me it’s supper difficult since I had bad experiences in the past, but I had to give it a shot... I went and it won’t be my last time! I can’t remember her name who did my nails but she did a wonderful job, she took her time and they came out awesome!! They have such of variety of services which I will be happy to try!

The worst service. Be warned if you are put with someone to do the “clean up and shape” before Lili does color. The service was so painful. The person butchered my nails and cuticles.It was so bad I had to go to a specialist because she got my cuticles stuck under the skin. I can’t express how horrible of an experience and post experience it has been

The establishment was very clean and took proper COVID-19 precautions. The nails I got looked identical to the pictures I showed them. Overall a great experience and I am definitely coming back!!

Owners must have change. Did not know how to do ombré. Acrylic did not dry all the way causing indent marks on my acrylic nails. My nails are already popping off on day 5! Unacceptable! I paid but won’t ever go again!

Lily was very professional when I walked in. She was ready to start on me right away. She confirmed if the colored I had chose, was one I liked. I will be returning :)

Made an appointment for 10am, got a call at 9am they needed to move to 11:30. Showed up at 11:20, and after waiting till 11:45am i asked how much longer and was told 20 more minutes. Wasted my whole day to not even get my nails done. What was the point of even making an appointment?

I dont write a lot of reviews but I had to go out of my way to do so because this place is exceptionally bad and Ive got my nails done at really bad salons in Ingelwood. It took 2 hours for a regular mani/pedi (I kept having to extend parking, came out to $15..), lady doing it wasnt responding to my questions, was very rough, and kept re-doing parts of the process. Strange experience and in a place where theres a few options on the same block go elsewhere.

The salon was visibly dirty, which was a red flag, especially during Covid. If I had not prepaid I would have canceled my appointment. Also I went to the bathroom and there was no soap. The pedicure was very uncomfortable; I actually said Ow, that hurts to the technician several times. My no chip manicure was almost finished when the owner came over and started yelling at the technician in front of me and all the other customers, saying she had done a terrible job. It truthfully was not a good job, but I dont think she deserved to be yelled at publicly. Then the owner made another technician remove the polish and start again. It was a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience.

Im saddened by my experience here at Lillys nails. After reading a lot of reviews I was super excited to try this place out! I was in and out in an hour and 10 min while getting a regular pedicure and a dip manicure. My entire experience was rushed and the quality of both pedicure and dip manicure were the worst Ive ever had. Ill need to 100% get them redone. What a waste of $75.

Been coming here for a year. My daughter always had such great nails! Everyone is really talented and creative. If you’re not afraid of great designs just let them be creative! They use the best colors, and materials and it’s a fun place to be in especially when the drag queens are getting it done!

Honestly no other nail shop i’ve been to offers the type of comforting, welcoming, and quality service like Lily’s :) this is now my second visit & i am for sure going to be a long time customer.

I called about 10 minutes before I came in and was able to book a no chip mani & pedi at 6pm on a Monday night. When I got there all Lily was ready to see me right away and did a great job. They have a good selection of polish and I’m so happy with my color & design. Plus that I was about to get at that for a combined $90?! Amazing!

Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive! The quality, however, was not great. I had to get my dip manicure removed after only a week. Despite safely removing them, my nails were broken and damaged.

Day 4 of my no chip. Kindly got a refund day of due to chipped nail withing a few hours. Jacky did my nails. Due to all the polish on my cuticles all my nails are peeling off from growing off the cuticle. I was told this would go away on its own but I know better. All my friends I came in with had amazing nails except for myself. Really sad because i loved the kindness and vibe of this place.

I went to get my nails done on Tuesday evening and Wednesday evening a nail broke! I went back to get it fixed and was turned away by the owner saying she was busy, however 2 customers walk in AFTER me and were taken! 75 dollars for a day of nails is not worth it! Dont go here.

Happily surprised! Got custom nails last minute and felt the nail technician was inc re divot patient with me as we adjusted until I reached exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend Yori (idk actual spelling of her name) she was so good with the cuticles which is so important. Also reasonably priced.

I went in there cuz I was in the area and asked for a full set and the woman started doing my nails and when we got to deciding the length she literally shamed me for wanting long nails and they weren’t even as long as some of the pictures I see In the photos. I tried brushing it off until she didn’t know how to use the buffer and then when I washed my hands another employee commented those are really long nails and they kept making me feel bad about getting long nails until I realized the woman didn’t know how to do them. Don’t offer a service and promote it on your site if you don’t know how to do it and definitely don’t shame your customers for a common preference. Worst nail experience I’ve ever had

Horrible. I got a pedicure and tried the dip for the first time 6 days ago. The girl who gave me a pedicure was very busy talking about how she gets wasted with her coworkers rather than focusing on my feet. My pedicure is chipped and some of the nails arent painted fully. She told me she takes naps in the back and invited me to go clubbing with her later. She literally did not focus on the pedicure at all and one foot was scrubbed and the other was left alone. I didnt say anything at the time so thats my fault but i thought she was nice so I left it alone.6 days after my dip two nails popped off. The right hand nails were longer than the left. And the shape was inconsistent. Very thick.. i think thats just a dip manicure though.When I called to get the remaining 8 nails off, there was no sorry or explaination. They soaked my nail and shaved probably 5x. I was there for 40 minutes. When i initially asked how they take them off it was a completely different explaination. Im super disappointed. Ill never go back. I think their staff is very friendly and I can tell they are like a family (yelling jokes across the whole place all day) but maybe they need to focus on their craft rather than then having fun all day. Also i think its unprofessional to be wearing headphones while working someones hairs... I feel scammed.Also they said my nails would be long and strong after a dip, but the way the guy took them off, he shaved a layer of my nail off and said it will feel good and healthy in 2 or 3 days. Idk of thats standard.

5 nails broke in 2 days. Not to mention, it already looks like I need a chill inn. Called the owner/tech and she there was nothing she could do because they was closed for a week due to painting. She did not offer a new set when they opened or anything. Theyre all new owners and techs and they didnt know how to find find nail color selection choices.

I had an issue with one of my nails a week after it was done and she fixed it for me free of charge

Jackie is handsdown the best nail tech out there. I’ve been getting my nails at a variety of places throughout Chicago and I’ve never experienced such attention to detail. I’m VERY particular about my nails and she does a FABULOUS job every single time. Her prices can’t be beat either! You won’t regret going to her.

Worst experience I ever had, my girlfriend schedule a appointment for me and her to get our nails and feet done with Tim. She’s been going there for years and I just started but had a bad experience prior when we were only able to get half of the services done due to time and their incorrect scheduling and overbooking. Today was the same and we were not accommodated and I was brushed off as if I wasn’t a client. Due to history my gf will return but as someone who was new to the shop and felt not welcome I will not be returning!

Stopped in for a quick manicure. They were super nice, but the manicure was not. I had to ask the nail technician to file nails more, as she left them super uneven, and multiple cuticles were bleeding by the end. I eventually had to ask her to stop. She also got polish on my cuticles and didn’t clean them up afterwards. I ended up going home and re-doing them myself. There are way better options on the neighborhood.

Came as a couple and they give an amazing manicure with perfect color and pedicures that keep my feet soft for crazy long! Im definitely coming back. Tina helped us out and shes amazing, say youre there for her youll be taken care of!

I have been coming here for a couple of months now and I enjoy getting my nails done but lately it seems like it is being rushed and not getting a better attention to my nails. Jackie does a great job but I wish she would focus on one customer at a time rather then rushing to do two peoples nails at once. I’d rather have someone take the time to do them right then to be rushed and have them look ok.

I give this salon a perfect ten for ambiance, cleanliness and happy staff. I heard some great things about this place so last Sunday I got on the phone and even though Jackie was busy she squeezed me in for an acrylic nail fill and rose colored chrome nail letting Jessica finish with my chrome look and pedicure! This salon is very clean, organized and beautiful! Jackie shaped my nails into perfect stiletto shapes in less than fifteen minutes while working with her other clients. She allowed Jessica to polish me with a fun and feminine rose chrome which I love very much and honestly I keep getting compliments daily so I am definitely going back here and the price is very reasonable compared to other salons I have been to . I stayed a while and was offered mini cakes while waiting for my pedicure to fully dry. Jackie is extremely good at creating a good shape for you and she works lightning fast!!!

These nails lasted a few hours. went in febuary 6 or 7th for a full set a day later one nail broke. Today 6 days after getting them 2 more have broken now. I told the lady they where to thin she insisted they where not and got offended. I told her they where to thin you can see the white nail through the purple and blue acrilic thats how thin they where. Definitely not worth it if 6 days later Im having to get them redone! For someone whos been doing this 25 years like she said I feel they should of at least made it 2 weeks. I love the nails but now I dont cause 3 have broke. The whole time she had this stank as face too maybe she was homophobic and thats why she didnt do a good job. I regret my 25$ tip

This place is awesome! I came in right before close and Jackie (Im assuming the owner) was still able to take me! She did a full set of acrylic nails for only $30 and in 20 minutes! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

I really wanted to like this place. With all the great reviews it has, I figured it would be great. I got a gel manicure done here on a Saturday, and walked away extremely happy. The staff there is great and so is the environment. However, by that Monday (2 days later) one of the nails had already chipped. Except it wasnt really a chip, it was more like a big piece of polish had smudged away. I went back in on Wednesday and had it fixed, with no problems. Again I walked away happy. I figured it was a fluke. Two days after that, another finger smudged. Today (10 days post manicure) another finger smudged. When I tried ripping the rest of the polish off of that finger, the polish I was taking off was goopy in consistency. Nothing I have ever seen before, but it made sense as to why they were all coming off. I am not sure if they possibly were not under the light long enough, or if it was the brand of gel polish they use... all in all, I have never had so many problems with a gel manicure nor have had it last such a short time.

A friend of mine who has frequented this place of business was told by the owner, Jackie, that she needed to leave because she felt uncomfortable with her and her 11 year old daughter being there. Even asked her to go shopping, walk around, or go eat something. We have have never had a problem here until now. Not only was this rude of her, but very unprofessional as there was no legitimate reason for her to deny us of waiting for a nail tech to be available, when there were other people already there waiting there. She, herself, was free at her station, so we dont understand what the issue was. My friends daughter was unhappy as this service was for her. We will no longer give our hard earned money and tips to this business. Please learn to treat your patrons with the respect they deserve! I will make sure all of my friends know about this. Not only was this embarrassing, but also made the other customers uncomfortable by the situation and how she talked to my friend and her daughter. Unacceptable!

Not your typical quiet Vietnamese nail salon downtown - do yourself a favor and have Patrice brighten up your day. Awesome vibe, upbeat, and great service. New go-to on the West Side.

Extremely bad and rushed acrylic nail job from someone who claims she has years in the industry. I think her name was Lena. All of the nails lifted in just a couple days and she painted on the polish really sloppily and thick too. I expect more from a salon with such raving reviews. Honestly, everyone was kind of nice but maybe pay more attention to the quality of your work instead of talking amongst each other.

I finally got to meet the famous Tim. I LOVE MY NAILS. THANK YOU.
