The best customer service and mani-pedi ever! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
OMG I just LoVe my New nail tech Jani..she is a beautiful young lady that knows her @#$& .
The owner jackee blue took 3hrs just to do my fill in and cut down😡😡she kept stopping, watching tv,and took a break to talk to her cousin.not to mention it was only 2 of us in the shop at the time.she did do a good job she was just way to slow it should have never took that long for a job that simple
Always an awesome experience ❤
Black owned. Appts are on time. Service is awesome. Ive been a client for many years. Love it!
Great experience! John Mac and Bob made a stressful experience less stressful and very satisfying. They were patient, detailed and seemed to have everything together for me when I got there.....after several phone call from me. I would definitely recommend and shop again! Thank you!
Best no chip in the city. My mom who is not technologically savvy has been traveling from the south side for almost a year now. She gets a simple no chip manicure every time and each one last 4-6 weeks.
Brianna has been doing my nails for 2 years. Great service, family atmosphere. Nothing but fun times every time I come.
Ill be back again. Great atmosphere, good music and laughter. A very welcoming experience on the west side of Chicago.
Alicia does my nails. She’s professional and fun. My nails always look how I want them to or better than I expected.
Black owned, great style for nails. Good music, barber on duty
Jackie Blue is still THE BEST NAIL TECH/OWNER on the westside. I called and got a last minute appointment today and she knocked my nails OUT THE BOX. I would highly recommend this professional black owned shop. YOURE THE BEST!
Ive been a regular here for years. This is a black owned nail shop, reasonably priced and more importantly customers are respected.
Great prices, friendly staff, large color selection.
Poor poor poor Everything. Clearly this place doesnt deserve ONE star. They dont want to take you when youre a walk-in and pass you around like youre a bad cold. Saying things like, Im not really at work. VERY unprofessional. Call at 5pm and ask when they are taking their last client after seeing they close at 7pm, theyre leaving early and wanna set up appointments for the next day. This is at FIVE OCLOCK. They tell you to take your own polish off (Which Im not doing and never have), and if they have a client coming in whos Late, theyd rather Wait for that client and turn down the walk-in there whos ready to pay. I will Never Ever go back there Or recommend anyone else either. Ive given them 3 chances already and its the same mess. The work was OK the 1st time. The next was good, I liked the way she shaped my nails, and the last girl laid a lumpy full set. I shouldnt see Where you actually laid the extra acrylic to shape the nail. The attitude and poor customer service is a NoGo for me. This is the Main reason why its hard to patronize in the Black owned businesses.
A little long there but the quality of work is greatttt
I only support black owned nail salons so when the salon that I usually go to was booked, I Googled other black owned salons. I found this salon and I decided to give it a try. OMG! I see why theyre called the bottom. The bottom is an understatement. This was the nastiest nail salon Ive ever been to. The woman who did my nails had an old nasty looking towel on the table under my hands while she did them. The towel had a bunch of old nail clippings and skin from prior clients. As the lady was doing my nails, I made sure to hold my hand in a way that my fingers would not touch the nasty towel she had underneath it. However, the woman kept yanking my fingers telling me to relax my hands. Eventually, I told her that I had OCD and the nasty towel was bothering me. You think she changed the towel? NO! She shrugged my comment off and said that she didnt know why I was complaining. Now come on, she could have easily got another towel or at least shook that towel over the garbage. To top things off, she messed my nails up. I got a gel overlay. The gel on top of my nails was sloppy, uneven, and lumpy. I was supposed to get a pedicure after the overlay, but I quickly changed my mind after seeing how nasty they were. Despite my oath to support black owned nail salons, I will not be returning to this dump and I wouldnt recommend anyone to get serviced by this salon. Instead go to A Polished Work or The Pamper Room where they are clean, professional, competent and most importantly, they are black owned.
5 star treatment hands and toes down. Miss Bre the Nail Tech and Bryan just slayed my toes and nails. I think im home🙏 at the bottom💯
Jackee Blue is by far the BEST nail tech on the westside
Great service great energy feels like family love it there
I wanted to love this place sooooo bad, unfortunately thats not the case. Ive been here twice and loved the outcome of my nails however this location seriously lacks professionalism and customer service. Im kinda new to the Chicago area and I fully support black owned businesses (Im use to going to my family back home for my nail/hair services) which is why I chose to visit this location. I came in both times as a walk in and the services was not professional at all. Booking an appointment is hard as well. I love to have girly outings with my friends and family and although I love my nails end result, Id be a bit embarrassed to bring my friends and family here. I guess my search for a good black owned nail shop continues. Overall these nail techs are talented but should work on professionalism and invest in their shop.
Love Tasha! Highly recommend her, especially her amazing pedicures. Hidden gem.
I really love this salon. The environment is relaxing and the stylists are friendly.
I go 2 the bottom nail salon 2 get my nails done and everytime Ive been there I was very happy and satisfied i been going 2 the bottom for a very long time and every experience Ive had has been good and most importantly they dnt charge u a arm and leg lol there very reasonable.. jackie the owner done my nails the last few times i was there and i was very happy ..
Really fast service and very friendly staff!
Great service!!!!! My nail tech is one of the best nail techs!!!!! She has been doing my nails for about 15 or more years. Angie is awesome!!!!!
Great business great people
Wouldnt reccomend going. Go to Glitter Nail Salon in Oak Park.
Service very pleasant.
Literally just left this location .. upon arrival, it was beyond unprofessional.. the nail techs stared aimlessly trying to see who was gonna take me... finally upon agreement one took me... barely personable. Upon asking for a nail polish color she pointed to retrieve the colors... I told the tech I specifically wanted the mood changing colors and explained when I tried to place the trial nails under water they didnt change...she then took me to the sink and tried to place one under water which barely changed any colorger resoonce it aint the same color rudely... I sat down still trying to give this ghetto place a chance bad mistake ... she was on a hurry to go home as she mentioned on the phone.. her attitude was terrible! Long story short! What you see is what you get! Never again! I got up no nail polish and left! She then began asking whhaaa you dont want glitter!! My reply was you seem like you wanna go home its ok! She then said ok BYE SHITTTT ..never in my life! Terrible customer service!
Janai was really a delight....the service was great.
Speedy service and excellent quality
The BEST nail salon this side of Heaven!
A million different styles and I only have 8 fingers and 2thumbs. The place to have your hands style like the hair on your head the clothes on your back and the shoes on your feet!
The massage chairs are great....
