Great company to do business with.

Lying rats... Be aware especially with the sweet potatoes bulk loads: 1) on the receiver side takes best case 12-14 hours ... up to few days... they never pay reasonable detention.2) Claiming that will cover up to 100$ trailer washout - before and after the load is done... 100 is not enough to clean the mess after you are unloaded. Actual washout price is 150-200$.

Ive been working with Andrew at DeGroot for many years. We have pulled produce and other commodities for them. Others leaving comments have DeGroot Log does not pay detention, this is not true. When problems have been created by shippers and/or consignees, they have taken care of me in most cases. Here at Johnson Feed, we are not always needing help from brokers. The worst company ever. Spencer and Conor non-professional greedy people who are willing to humble themselves for $50. If you want to spend your time and cheer yourself up to hear their unhappy excuses for why they cant pay a TONU or detention, then welcome. This is the company you need to work with!!

Drivers and Owners Do not Book Loads with this Company your time is valuable and if you work you should get paid for it.We booked a load with Christian Montgomery, about 50 minutes after he sent the confirmation he called to cancel the load after my driver drove 35 miles towards the pickup and said he will not pay a Truck Order Not Used because the driver didnt check in at the pickup and after i told him that my driver drove 35 miles and I can show them because we have live tracking in all our trucks he hung up the phone. I called back and asked to speak with a Manager and they connected me with Spencer who basically did the same thing. When I asked Spencer why he thinks is OK that a driver just drove for an hour for free and spent money on fuel he told me that they are in agreement there and they will not pay a TONU and hung up the phone.Drivers and Owners Do not Book Loads with this Company your time is valuable and if you work you should get paid for it.

Do Not Work with this broker...We booked a straight thru load with Christian Montgomery and when we received the rate con it showed 1200 midnight delivery appt. l called him and told him that we could do straight thru but no 1200 midnight delivery appt because the truck/reefer was already committed for another load later that evening. He said the freight was going to a food bank and that they will unload it upon arrival. After we pick the load up, he contacted the driver and told him this was a blind load so he needed to print a different BOL for delivery...and of course the receiver was a night receiver and we have to deliver a midnight, lost our next load.. and had to deadhead the driver out of there afterwards. This company is THE WORST !!! If they tell you that they will take care of you its absolute lie. NO DETENTION. We spent 4 hrs at the PU and 7hrs at the delivery. What they were suppose to do? Just tell us right away that they dont pay any detention so we could of find another load. But they decided to feed us with we will take care of you, dont worry And of course after driver was empty we have been told that detention was declined . AWESOME!!! DO NOT WORK WITH THEM !!!!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT work with these people!!! I hope people read the reviews before booking with these people. They are ALL a bunch of liars!!! After sitting for 2 1/2 days, they want to only pay $400 layover. Cameron, the lying broker, we booked the load with, makes excuses for everything than side steps the issue at hand says he will get right back to you, but oh NO, he will not! Manager Andrew, just as much of a liar! Says he will send new rate con with what we told them our layover was, didnt send it. Go figure! We have worked with bad broker services before, but this one is above and beyond the worst.
