If I could leave negative 5 stars I would, they are nothing but liars, sell you a load stating delivery is fcfs, driver arrives just to find out its by appointment only, no appointment scheduled, they ask how much you want for layover and dont pay it, lying that company system is down, when its not, stay away from them nothing but liars and thieves!!!!

Im not here to judge, just to review.Here is my story.I waited 6 hours to get loaded during of which I had constant communication with their representatives, sometime even with as many as three at the time:). I got loaded so late that I had to drive all night in order to make delivery on time, but it was my decision. Once I got loaded, the broker offered me to reschedule delivery for later time.Long story short, I got paid for the load in less than a three weeks, that includes waiting time for the approval of detention. Paid in full as promised including all hours of detention as it was written in load tender.I want to single out Adam Sanchez. He was the one who made all decisions and, as a consequence, he takes all blames. Not in my case, I dont have any. Instead Im grateful to him. He was very helpful. I see them all in SEL as good, honest and hard working people, they just dont want to be pushed. But, hey, who does, right?My own experience is very positive with SEL. Ill take their load anytime when it fits my needs.I feel sorry for all people who wasnt that lucky. Unfortunately the lack of will to understand each other makes our jobs and lives more stressful and complicated.

Read all of the reviews before booking with this company!!! If there is a possible way for them to cut the rate, they will. Does not matter if you spend extra 10 hours at the pick up or extra 3 days for a delivery. Do not try being fair with these people. There really is no reasoning with them. Make sure you charge up if you can so even if they charge you for something, itll be worth the drive

STAY AWAY! I REPEAT STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES... STARTING FROM THERE SHIPPERS, RECEIVERS AND BROKERS. ANYTHING WITH SUMMIT EXPEDITED LOGISTICS DO NOT DO BUSINES WITH THEM. I work with Frank all the time.. Exceptional customer service. Always answers me in a timely manners. Very fair with how he treats carriers and very understanding of situations happening that were not expected..Not all the time do you get to work with someone who understands both aspects of transportation.

WE DID DECEMBER, 31 2019 LOAD FOR SUMMIT EXPEDITED LOGISTICS FROM GEORGIA TO DENVER, COLORADO 4 DAYS ABSOLUTELY NO RUSH RUN, THAT BROKER REQUESTED A TEAM DRIVERS FOR.. 4 DAYS 1,600 MILES TRANSIT. WE HAD NO OTHER OPTIONS BUT TO USE SOLO DRIVER INSTEAD AS NO ANY TEAMS WILLING TO DRIVE 400 MILES PER DAY. SUMMIT EXPEDITED REDUCED 50% OUR RATE FOR NOT HAVING A TEAM DRIVERS AT DELIVERY. SO WE DID $0.80 PER MILE FROM GEORGIA TO COLORADO AT MID WINTER SEASON

At time of booking load with Danny Hernandez we both agreed that load will be delivered on Friday on 03/20/2020 because Mr.Hernandez told me that consignee is open 24/7 even rate confirmation show delivery day on 03/19/2020. Prior and before delivery we told tracking personal that because what is going (CORONAVARUS) on at truck stops so drivers cannot get even shower and just take takeout food delivery will be made on Friday before noon and it was. After delivery was made Mr. Hernandez send us revised rate with deduction of $400.00 which is not fair to driver who was trying so hart to make delivery. On second page of contract clearly showing that policy from Summit Logistics for late delivery penalty is $250.00. DO NOT USE AND STAY AWAY.

They deduct money after and dont tell you. They are liers and thiefs avoid at all cost.

We got freightguard report and there is no other place where we can defend our self, thats why I had to write a review here.In my opinion it was not fair from Kevin Lees side to place that kind of review.His review on freightguard was because of canceled load from our side, yes, thats true, but whats not true is that hes claiming that we lied to him about it.The reason we canceled the load was that we had damaged trailer at our previous delivery, with holes i it from the forklift while he was unloading us. Because of that we couldnt get permission from our safety department to load the trailer like that.One claim can cost us much more than you think.I am sorry for canceling the load but please put yourself in our shoes and then make the decision to report us.

One of the worst experiences that I have ever dealt with in all of 8 years in this industry, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BROKER AT ALL. A mistake the broker had made regarding writing my phone number down and writing it down incorrectly, led to her pulling me off of a load which was not set to pickup 48 hours from now. Mind you it’s thursday afternoon, load was suppose to pickup at 11pm Saturday night. I wasn’t even given a chance to respond to the brokers email. I mean I get it that carriers lie and do all they can to get loads, but a carrier like myself that prides themselves on not lying and being straight forward from the start as I have been throughout the whole set up process and load booking process makes me wonder why on earth I’m usually the one that gets shafted. Very very inferior broker, I highly recommend staying away from and doing any business with this broker.. customers should be wary of giving them their freight, if they do this to me, imagine what they are doing with your freight. I would stay far away from them!

Extremely unhappy with them so far. I call multiple times for a load, no answer. Then finally a broker answers. I get put on hold for 7 minutes then hung up on. Do not waste your time trying to reach them. It is pointless.

Weve been working with Summit for over a year and have moved 40+ loads with them. We are in the trucking industry so issues are bound to arise regardless of who you work with, Summit (specifically Frank) take care of us when those issues arise. We look forward to our continuing business with Summit.

We book a load with George during the working time for a load that picks at evening . They called us 40 mins before the load picks up and told us is canceled by the customer and we checked DAT and saw that they have posted the same load 5 mins ago selling it cheaper . Very Dishonest . They left our truck without load !

Carriers be aware this place plays alot of games. Booked a load with them told us a time to pick up and when driver got to shipper load was not set to ship out and driver did not get loaded till late at night. Than they expected us to deliver the load still on time. They kept harassing the driver by calling him. This is not how you do businesses to get freight covered.

I had The worst experience ever with this company.Don’t take their loads.They are not organized,messed up with the appointments, pushing the drivers to drive with no available hours. They make cdl drivers to be like ubers, going back and forward .With this organization i hope they will go soon out of business.
