Wonderful experience! Laura and Kellie did hair and makeup for my daughter’s wedding. They did the bride, wedding party, and MOB & MOG. Everyone loved their looks. It rained, was hot, and humid our hair and makeup lasted all day (even through lots of happy tears). I would recommend Laura and Kellie!! Thanks ladies!

I absolutely hated how my hair came out. I had a half up, half down hair do that looked so so so sloppy. I showed a photo of neat french braids and got a regular braids with huge gaps in between and my curls didnt even last till I got to the event/30 mins. My hair isnt even difficult to curl. I also only asked for curls at the bottom and she curled it all. I was running late and didnt have the time to point out corrections. It didnt look salvageable..it looked terrible.

Pin Me Up is a fantastic salon to work with for weddings! I worked with Dana for my April 2018 wedding day hair and makeup. She is amazing and I loved my hair and my bridesmaids hair so much! We all had our hair and makeup done in the morning at The Westin River North and our styles lasted through dancing in the night.

We used Pin Me Up for hair and makeup for my daughters wedding. We were all thrilled with the results! My daughter and I went for a trial ahead of time, they have a nice salon in the Loop. They listened to all of our individual requests and customized accordingly.

Working with Pin Me Up was a bit of a mixed experience. When I went for my first trial I hated the hair and makeup. The hair was very dated looking (my best friend said I looked like an old lady going to church) and the make up was just not good. I didn’t come with a lot of ideas for makeup because I thought they are professionals and they would know what would look best on me but this was a mistake. Definitely take pictures in for the makeup look you want. The look of the trial was just so far off from what I was expecting that I thought we would never get to something I liked so I emailed them after to tell them I was going to look into other options. They were very kind and said that I could come in for another trial with a different stylist and makeup artist at no extra charge. At my second trial I got extensions put in (a separate service they offer) and gave them more direction on what I wanted for make up and loved the look of both when I left.The day of my wedding we never quite got to a hair style I loved and it didn’t look as good as the trial but it was fine. The makeup the day of was exactly like the second trial and I liked it. That said, I ended up having makeup done for our party the night before with no trial and by a person that had never seen me before and I gave no guidance to (my MIL booked it all and planned it, I just showed up) and it was a lot better. In short, if you want very standard hair and makeup they are fine. If you want something more glam, I think there are better services.

I had the pleasure of working with Pin Me Up several weeks ago for my companys team photo shoot and I could not be any happier with my experience! Both Dana and Tanya did an amazing job with hair and make-up! I was so happy how my look turned out! They were super friendly and easy going to work with! I highly recommend!

I love Pin Me Up!! From my very first contact up until the day of my wedding they were a pleasure to work with! My stylists Jules (make-up) and Laura (hair) were awesome! My trial was so much fun. It was like hanging out with my best girlfriends. I was so happy with my wedding day look. I felt and looked so glamorous and beautiful and got so many compliments. In addition to the dynamic duo of Jules and Laura, Jessica the Operations Director was great. She explained the whole process easily and with great detail and any questions I had were always answered professionally and timely. She was also able to accommodate last minute hair add ons for three very happy family members. Dana, Jules, Katie, and Jess (the artist) did the hair and make-up for my wedding and we all looked so stunning!The communication with the front-office staff at Pin Me Up Chicago leaves something to be desired. Honestly, if I didnt love my trials and the actual WORK done by Jules & Katie so so much, I wouldve probably chosen someone else because the booking/reception staff are pretty cold for a customer-service based industry.Long story short - if you choose to work with this company, it will be because the actual artists are awesome! If youre turned off by their receptionist, just book an actual service and I think youll love it!

Flawless hair and makeup for our wedding! I am a big makeup geek so it was extremely important to find a good match for hair/makeup for my wedding day. The moment I had my trial with Jessica (makeup) and Alex (hair), I knew I didn’t have to look any further. They were very professional, timely and I felt comfortable with their style and ideas. Even more importantly, with all the happy tears, my makeup still looked amazing throughout the whole evening. I definitely recommend Pin Me Up for bridal hair and makeup. (Married Oct 2016)

Pin Me Up recently did my hair and makeup for a business photo shoot and I abosuletly loved the way everything turned out! I would definetly recommend Pin Me Up for wedding events or any business photo shoots in the future!

These ladies are the best of the best. I would recommend them to anyone. From the first contact, they have been super helpful and reasonable. They reserved my wedding date without a deposit- I couldnt believe it. I actually tried to give a deposit bc it made me nervous, but they wouldnt let me! They are very clear about pricing, gratuity included, no added charges. The trial was perfect. Dana made me feel so special and comfortable. On my wedding day, Dana, kelly arrived 15 minutes early and ready to work! They did hair and make-up for 10 people with OVER AN HOUR to spare from our end time. This gave us plenty of time to relax and hang out together which was invaluable. They were friendly and easy to be around. These lovely ladies even stayed to provide services for some of my aunts who wanted hair and make up done spur of the moment! Not to mention the fact that EVERYONE LOOKED GORGEOUS! The wedding guests were gushing about my beautiful bridesmaids. My own hair and make-up was better than the trial and held up all night. Outstanding service!!!

I had a hair and make up artist come to The Drake the morning of my wedding. I was so nervous to get the timing right, and they put me at ease immediately. They were prompt, professional and so quick! We had extra time even. They chatted with us, joked around and in the end did a perfect job on me and all my bridesmaids. Great local business!
