Dr. Steven Mandrea is a wonderful caring doctor, who is clearly a professional in his field. During my appointment, I felt all my needs were met and an action plan was made. I was hesitant about the reviews regarding high cost prescriptions but after asking Dr. Mandrea for more affordable options, he went out his way to make sure I was satisfied! Its very true that if you want something, all you have to do is ask then you shall receive! I just started treatment--so far so good! Everything prescribed/recommend is very gentle on my skin. Excited for this journey. I will update in a few months.

Showed up on time. Waiting room fairly empty. Led to an exam room and told to undress. No gown provide . Waiting for 45 minutes. Asked what was happening at the reception desk. The reply, would you like to reschedule. When I expressed dissatisfaction, I was told there was nothing they could do. The 3 star rating is there for a reason.

Nice staff, easy to get an appointment that works with my schedule and Dr Mandrea is absolutely amazing. My vitiligo treatment is working. Very pleased.

Very friendly staff 100% of the time I have gone there over the last 3 years. The physicians and PAs were great! Im very very surprised by the bad reviews. I never have to wait to long in the waiting room. Plus, they have tons of free samples everywhere!

Found this place to be unreliable and completely unsympathetic to the inconvience they caused me. Lakeview Dermatology canceled my appointment with very little notice (2 days before) for an apt I had made over a month and a half ago. After admitting that they new weeks in advance that the appointment would have to be canceled and that they failed to notify me, they were completely inflexible when I attempted to reschedule- telling me there wasn’t availability for another month. Absolutely unprofessional. Administrative staff very rude. Completely unhelpful. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

Dr. Mandrea has saved my life by curing me from acne. He was the only Dr. who was able to get to the bottom of my problem. He was very persistent in his approach and was able to get my acne under control very quickly. I have been fighting with acne for 10 years and after the first visit Dr. Mandrea prescribed me medicine and I was able to see results within 1 month. He also was able to teach me how to wash my face that no other dermatologist was able to show me and I was visiting him every 4 weeks, compared to other dermatologist who usually would see you in 8-12 weeks. I am very impressed with Dr. Mandreas work and I recommend him to anyone who is dealing with acne.

I had Dr. Mandrea do my subcision to help with my acne scars and I loved the outcome. After several months I went back today to see what else can be done. I walked in with the intention of getting fillers but he said that fillers will help but that are not cost efficient(I loved this answer because he seemed to be care about my wallet). He suggested I go with punch elevation and some laser work after. The punch elevation could not be done until my face was completely cleared(had two little blemishes on chin due to menstrual cycle), so since I am a little bit impatient I told him that I’d still want the fillers and that I will do the punch and laser treatments after! 😂 He saw that I was in a hurry to fix my problem so he was kind enough to give me a discount on the filler. Thanks doc and can’t wait to see my results.

Horrendous experience. They have no regard for your time, nor well being. To top it off they will not return the pharmacists calls to fix the Rx they wrongfully wrote. Save yourself, find another dermatologist.
