First time customer of Molly Maid / any cleaning service. My husband and I booked Molly Maid for a deep move in clean with a 3 hour minimum. We requested specifically that the baseboards, showers and window sills were cleaned. The team was here for 90 minutes and did not clean any of what was requested or specified in the description of the move in clean on Molly Maid’s website. We let Molly Maid know the job wasn’t done and they offered to resend a team in a few days - which we originally agreed to, only for Molly Maid to cancel and reschedule the appointment. At this point we had already moved in and the option of a “move in” clean was no longer possible. I spoke to someone who said they would give us a full refund and took my card number. A few days went by and when I called to ask when I would receive the refund, they said I would only receive $50 back on the $275 service I paid for and did not receive. I have spent everyday for the last 10 days on the phone with someone trying to get at least 50% of the money we paid back - to no avail. They said “the best they can do” is a $100 refund. Super disappointed in the cleaning service and customer service I received. Was definitely looking forward to using Molly Maid for a reoccurring cleaning but will have to look elsewhere.

We hired Molly Maid for the 3-hour minimum clean that is required for a move-in cleaning. They spent less than 90 minutes cleaning our new condo. That would’ve been fine had they actually cleaned. It appeared that not one thing had been cleaned, and it couldn’t have been an easier job. Not one piece of furniture in the entire home. When we called to complain they rescheduled us. They mixed those days up and then told us they couldn’t come back. After having lived in our new place for over a week, we had cleaned it ourselves. We spoke with someone in customer service who said we’d get a 100% refund and took our card number (since we had paid in cash originally). After not receiving the refund we spent the next ten days on the phone with them getting varying degrees of hostility. We were told a $50 refund was all we would get (and we paid $250 with tips). Had we used a credit card we would’ve disputed the charges. I feel as if I was stolen from because my cash simply disappeared without any form of service being performed.

The ladies did a fabulous job! I do wish in the initial deep clean they would have gotten the grime underneath the oven/fridge, but very pleased with the overall service.

We had team #1 (Rosy and Judith) and loved them! Not only were they incredibly friendly, but they were thorough. I never expected them to go into every single display cabinet and through every single shelf we had and individually clean/dust the items, but they did! They pulled up area rugs and mopped/vacuumed underneath them, they asked lots of questions if they were unsure (which is great because Id rather you ask me about cleaning or moving something before it breaks) and they were so fast. Best part, the house smelled incredible and fresh when they were done. Overall we would absolutely request team #1 again - good vibes all around and a very, very thorough clean.

Molly Maid is the best cleaning service I have found in Chicago. The cleaning team does an amazing job every time they come over and am extremely impressed by their professionalism. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cleaning service. Also- each time they come over they come with 2 or 3 cleaners which is astounding since I have an 800 SF 1 bedroom apartment. I really wanted to like this service and heard some good things but it was SO bad! They came more than an hour late AFTER they changed the time on me. They didn’t clean everything that I wanted them to and I called twice before to make sure they had all of my details down! Don’t go with this service It’s a lot of headache for no reason. It’s just a cleaning service and I promise you can find one with less stress lol

We had a deep clean service and after that experience have decided to continue to use their cleaning service on a regular basis. After trying to clean around 2 toddlers while we both work full time, we were facing a losing battle. My home finally feels really clean for the first time in months. Imelda and Isabel (Team 14) were hard working and efficient. The company was also very good about keeping in contact with us when the schedule needed to delay a little past the originally scheduled arrival time, which we appreciated.

I have been using Molly Maid for more than two years in my place after buying my condo. They started with a deep clean of the apartment that I was living in - they arrived on time and did a fantastic, thorough job. My condo gets cleaned every other week and the women who work for them are always thoughtful and do a detailed job of cleaning. They always arrive timely and I always appreciate their work. Highly recommended business!

I am not thrilled with the level of service nor the nickel and diming of Molly Maids. They are very responsive on the phone, however, I ran into these issues below which make me question the companys credibility.1) I was initially quoted a time of 12-2pm. I get a last-minute text the day before asking if 11am-1pm is OK and I agree. The staff calls me at 10:45 to tell me they are onsite. I had to wrap up work items and meet them. All of this to me is not a big deal, until I call the office after and they tell me the time for the quote started at 10:30am. I was charged for them being earlier than quotes.2) I was charged for street parking when I could clearly see their branded car parked on non-meter parking.3) I had to spot check areas and noticed a few places were missed. Its a 400 square foot apartment with two staff.The pricing itself is not bad, but I would push back on their charges or at least be wary of the above issues. Honestly I didnt know any better until I hung out with someone who used to be a supervisor and a home cleaning company in Chicago and he basically told me I got ripped off lol.

I absolutely don’t have the words to describe how amazing Molly Maids is. The girls Veronica and Josefina did an absolutely amazing impeccable job cleaning our condo. Ive used Molly Maid for years in both their NW Chicago branch and now just starting out with their branch at Gold Goast/Near North. They did a great job with a deep clean a couple weeks after I moved in and now will certainly be using them for a standard bi-weekly cleaning. Their team is thorough and professional. Always refreshing to come home to a clean place.

Molly Maid did such a wonderful job cleaning my 1 bedroom in River North. They were very professional, responsive, flexible and a pleasure to work with! They came for a consultation and the next day was able to deep clean my place! During the consultation, they give you peace of mind by explaining they are insured, went over their COVID-19 safety procedures and reviewed what services theyll do along with asking me what if I need something particularly done. I wasnt able to be home for the first visit, but was surprisingly comfortable having them in and was pleasantly surprised by their special finishing touches! You cant ask for a better experience, I highly recommend!

My Molly Maid team is better than yours; I’m sure. Ilcia and Ysabel are very prompt and professional from start to finish. They greet the dogs as well as us humans and then they get to work. They can work around us, or sometimes we leave, and they are always just as detailed and efficient. The Molly Maid service does what it promises every time.

Weve been using Molly Maid of the Gold Coast for a couple of months and they have been great. The customer service team has worked with us as weve needed to move things around due to some things that have come up and theyve been flexible and tried to help us find the best solution each time. Team #3 with Maria is always prompt, efficient, and they do a great job. We have 3 dogs and I appreciate so much that we have the opportunity to provide feedback and ask them to focus on the things that are most important to us...like extra vacuuming and removing pet hair from the baseboards. We were a little nervous about having people come into our home due to COVID-19, but they have been great about wearing masks, socially distancing, and using quality products to safely provide a great service.

Going with Molly Maid has been a game changer for us. Maria and Katerim (Team 3) have done such a great job we are now set up for monthly cleanings. Everything is spotless when they leave including the stove top and shower! The team also takes the pandemic seriously wearing masks and keeping a safe distance if you are home at the same time, but they are also very friendly and efficient!

We used Molly Maid to do a deep clean after not having any professional cleaning services for over a year. Booking was easy and they sent a reminder text 3 days before. The morning of our cleaning Anna Alvarez texted that she and her team (team #8- Anna, Marcela ad Johana M.) were on their way. They arrived early and went right to cleaning. They did an unbelievable job in only 2 hours! They were easy to communicate with and respectful of working around us because we were working from home the entire time. Our apartment has never been so clean. I would HIGHLY recommend them and will use them again myself.

Both worked very well together and were respectful of my presence as i work from home these days like many people. I was so happy with their service that i signed up for regular service and requested Cristina and Ilcia to be assigned to me for the regular service.
