Great experience, they came to me, repaired my machine in 24 hours for a flat fee, parts sold at cheaper than what I could find myself online, exactly what I was looking for.I think its just the one technician, so call ahead: as I said before, he picked up my machine from my house & returned it (included in the flat-rate), but I do believe there this is only within certain distances.Ever spill liquid on your machine & then drop it as well? Well, it was one of those types of days. Great stuff, love supporting local businesses.
That screen you are seeing in the picture didnt even exist after it was accidentally ripped off the computer when my son knocked it off the counter. As in pancaked. Flattened.Apple store told me that the machine was too old for them to fix, but I gave these guys a call & not only was I out the door for a fraction of the price of other shops I called (they wanted $550), but they picked it up from my house for free, hahaha.Honestly, it was great. I was able to select which kind of part that I wanted (used or new) for the price, and the flat $200 rate included installation of other upgrades, so I got a new battery ($40), new solid state drive (dont remember), and they even upgraded my memory for free! My old drive was damaged due to the fall, but they managed to get the data back, again: covered by the flat-rate.If you go to their location, you need an appointment - its just one or two guys I think. Love shopping locally & having my trusted mechanic down the street from me!
Heads up: This place mainly does business calls, but also picks up and drops off free of charge w/ service for home users (or small businesses such as mine, Im an artist). I made the mistake of showing up to their location without an appt & nobody was available at that time, oops.Lucky for me, I didnt even need to haul my iMac out of my house and over to them, they showed up at my front door & took away my busted machine, and a few days later it came back with a new display and I decided since it was in for service already that I would change the hard drive and memory as well - they said that they sell parts at-cost, which from what I can tell is true or at least very close to what those parts go for in the store. The final cost was as they stated: $200 flat rate + any parts needed (a new screen for my machine was $200 itself, eek), so I have a much faster computer and my screen was fixed for less than $500 (my newly configured iMac was over $3000) & I didnt even have to leave my house, which between traffic, parking and hauling my computer down my steps, their pickup service saved me an entire afternoon. They also saved all my data, so it was as-if I hadnt even skipped a beat and was back to work. yay! Its a little strange that there isnt a storefront, but I think its just a few techs that they have.
Brought my laptop in to be fixed. Marc was very professional and always kept good communication with me throughout the process. Although he could not find the problem, he gave me great advice about how to move on and did not charge me for the work he spent on it. I would recommend him to others who need their devices fixed.
The cursor on my eight-year-old iMac stopped cold. After unsuccessfully trying everything else to revive the cursor, I brought in the computer and the mouse. A tech staffer (or maybe the owner) could have told me to leave the unit for diagnostics, but instead tested the mouse, pronounced it dead, sold me a new, upgraded magic mouse, and I was on my way within 30 minutes. Many thanks for your professionalism and sense of urgency.
My MacBook had the dreaded spinning beach ball, and I needed my machine fixed right away since I was traveling soon. Mark talked me through the process & he went out and grabbed the new hard drive (solid state, baby!) and I dropped off my machine with him in less than an hour.A couple hours later, and it was like a new machine & I was on my way. I couldnt believe that it was really that easy, lucky for me he had an opening that day, otherwise I would have had to wait a week for the machine as he was booked completely! That could have been a deal breaker for me, but its also a good sign that I chose the right place!I didnt know it at the time, but for some services they have a free pickup / dropoff, so I didnt even have to leave my house after it was repaired, which was nice since I was still packing.Wish Id have known about that before I drove over to his workshop, which was sort of strange but I guess all that matters was the outcome: Im a very happy customer and have saved CompuTechs number in my phone. thanks again
Absolutely fantastic service! I needed my macs screen fixed and Computechs+ went the extra mile for me, trying to minimize how much I would have to pay and helping at every step of the way. The computer was fixed as much as it could be and I had no further problems. I cannot stress enough how helpful the service was, before, during, and after the repair. Thank you so much Computechs+!
Went above and beyond to diagnose and consult for a very reasonable price. Ultimately lead to me saving a lot of money getting my MacBook fixed vs out of warranty through Apple. Fantastic service!
MacBook, stopped charging then wouldn’t get enough power to even stay on while plugged in... horrifying experience as I run my whole company on my MacBook... I run both windows and iOS on my Mac for program reasons.. Mac side no problem it’s all in my cloud Windows side no cloud back up so I was really worried... ended up being a simple fix a part had to be replaced for my charging port... not only only did he rush over to his shop to grab my Mac for me he drove to another location to pick up the part I needed.. most places said it would take a few days took him a few hours... on top of that he threw in a bunch of extras, he was willing a drop my Mac off to me when it was fixed, and gave a bunch of great advice... honestly above and beyond every step of the way!! Honestly no more Genius Bar at the apple store for me... not as long as he is around... honestly best fastest service I ever got for my Mac!!!
I don’t even know if these people are good or not. I called to ask if they were able to plug my sons phone up to a computer with iTunes to force restart it. The man on the phone didn’t even let me get my question out and just insisted on telling me that they don’t work on iPhones. Well I didn’t even physically need any work done but ok.
My data was recovered!!! I was working on a large project with a lot of audio & video files when my backup drive failed! They picked up my drive (free of charge, mind you) & had me up and running in less than 24 hours.A lot cheaper than the $850 that I was quoted by 2 other companies. They also fixed a small issue that I had on my computer that had been annoying me for a year or so - I cant recommend them enough!
I do a lot of work from home and my kids also have an older Macbook they use. In short, I had two desktop PCs which needed virus work and the Macbook needed a new LCD screen. The two PCs came back better than new and virus free and the 13 Macbook was in perfect working order. All this back to me within 3 days. What a great experience and all for under $500. Very professional and they did free pickup and delivery which made things easier on myself.
Stay away from this business they are thieves all I could do was leave this review dont make the mistake I made!.
