Colleen did a FANTASTIC job altering my wedding dress. It wasnt a small job (she took it in all-around, hemmed, bustled, and added buttons all down the train) but she executed! The dress fit perfectly, and despite bringing some areas in by a couple of sizes, she maintained the integrity of the original style beautifully. I am a bit of a nit-picky perfectionist, and she matched my attention to detail. She made every little change that she noticed or I asked for, to really make my dress feel absolutely perfect for me. Just one word of warning - she is popular!! In the height of wedding season, if youre able to bring your dress in 4 months early, do it! We had tons of time for my dress, and that allowed her to make the changes I needed without me being stressed about timing.

Colleen is a master seamstress! I’ve now had her alter two wedding dresses (one for a backyard 2020 wedding and one for a larger 2021 reception). She is incredibly talented and extremely kind. She really understands how to make clothing fit “the way it’s supposed to.”

The Seams team did an amazing job on not only my bridesmaids dress, but my sisters! We both have numerous adjustments needed, and are very different sizes. Seams was able to get them completed on time and both dresses looked absolutely stunning and fit perfectly. Would recommend, and would definitely go back if I needed another dress altered!!

Seams is AMAZING. I had a few pairs of pants and shorts altered (waist brought in, legs tapered, and shortened). They look amazing and she fit them to my body perfectly. Her prices are great and I wouldnt trust any other tailor/alterations place with my clothes.

Brought my wedding dress in to be fitted. They did an incredible job taking it in, adjusting the straps, putting the beading back seamlessly and adding a bustle. Cant recommend them highly enough.

Colleen recently altered my Jenny Yoo wedding dress for my big day. She did a wonderful job. She was very thoughtful in tailoring the dress to how I wanted it to fit and look. She added a bustle, which was secure and very easy to tie up. She also gave me advice in steaming my dress (I would be traveling with it) and suggested a good stain remover just in case (thankfully not needed). Booking appointments through her online portal was easy and I could easily find a time that worked with my schedule. Thanks again!

My wife used Seams to alter her wedding dress and raved about it. But the tailor doesnt just do big, complex jobs. I also came in to have a jackets pockets replaced, and it was both adorable and excellently done. Cant more highly recommend Seams for jobs of any size!

Cosy little shop, very friendly owner and quick turn around time on the job I needed done. Only needed a small repair on a pair of jeans that had ripped, only cost $5 so definitely worth keeping that pair alive.

The online appointment system worked perfectly and made it so convenient to book a slot. I had a heavily beaded bridesmaid dress that was beautifully hemmed so that the beadings pattern was still intact. I loved the experience here and highly recommend this business!

11 months ago, I called and made an appointment to discuss the duplication of a favorite top and the re-lining of a Hugo Boss Cashmere men’s coat. The woman was pleasant enough and told me that she would gladly have the coat done in a week and the top would be completed in about a month. I collected the first item a week later and it seemed to be done well, however my husband complains now that his sleeves are tighter. 3 months went by and I called the shop. The woman said that she was sorry and had been busy, but she promised to have my piece done by the next week. 3 months later I made another call; and again 1 month after that; and again 2 months later. Each call rendered an apology and a promise to complete my top. I just now picked up my original piece, 11 months after our initial meeting at the shop. Apparently, my job was not important enough to warrant even one moment of her time in nearly a year! Appalling. In addition, on the 2 occasions that I physically dropped in to see if my top had been completed, she and her shop smelled of cigarette smoke.

I couldnt be more impressed with the quality of alterations, kindness of the owner, and thoroughness of her work. I especially also appreciated the flexible scheduling and her willingness to accommodate my constantly changing schedule. I have a dress that required extensive alteration, with multiple layers, complicated lace and lots of beading down the entire gown. Her commitment to making my gown perfect for the big day was unbelievable. She was wonderful to me and my entire family when all 9 showed up for my first fitting. I could feel her excitement helping me put it on for the final fitting. She takes a lot of pride in her work and I would recommend Seams Custom without hesitation.

Terrible service, undependable. Last July brought in fabric to be worked on. 14 months and three-four reminders later my item hadnt been touched. The owner agree that, yep, shed had the fabric that long and that, This is not the kind of work we ordinarily do. Noice to know. This was a gift to a friend that was never given. So disappointed in th eservice and the apparent indifference.
