I had an awesome experience here they added illusion sleeves on my dress and they came out absolutely perfect loved this place!

Miss Couture was an excellent choice for my bridal gown tailoring. They were prompt, professional, and very experienced. They took my A-Line, silk taffeta dress in beautifully, working around delicate mesh cut-outs and even creating a more fitted silhouette at the waist and seat. Stella even custom-made a veil and chic beaded belt that I wore during my ceremony and reception. While the prices are not the cheapest in town, if youre looking for quality and added style that you wont find anywhere else, Miss Couture is your place. Leaving your wedding dress to be altered is more stressful than I even expected, Im just so happy I left mine with experts! Thank you so much Tula and Stella! You were wonderful and made me feel beautiful on my big day!

They tailored mine and my best friends wedding dresses and did an amazing job. Both needed a huge amount of work (in different ways, mine needed different straps and hers had to be rebuilt almost entirely). Both came out beautifully. Customer service was excellent too.

These people wasted my time. The 2 stars is because they were attentive, but I brought my brand new wedding dress which cost me $280 and I was actually telling one of the tailors how happy I was with my price and after 30 minutes of my timewasted measuring here and there they tell me the tailoring would be $750 😱.... I’m still in shock, with that $$$ I buy another dress! These people are out of their mind. Never mind, I picked up my dress and they broke the zipper of the gown bag. So I walked out with a broken zipper and an estimate of $750 ... place is a waste of time.

Recently went in for my first dress fitting. What I thought was going to be simple alteration (hemming length) turned into a bit more - taking in dress in the hips - and came with a steep price tag of $350. It was very busy and while disorganized up front, the women were nice. Store is clean, nice fitting space. I will be sure to update this review following my second fitting so I can speak to the quality of the work.

I was referred to Ms Couture by a bridal shop out in the suburbs because it was closer to my house and very reasonably priced because I didnt need very many alterations done. After the first (and last) visit, I was very upset. They took advantage of the situation and charged me DOUBLE what every other bridesmaid was getting theirs altered for. I kindly asked if there was anything we could do to figure out how to lower the cost, and the rude response: If you dont like my price, you can come pick up the dress....I understand when running a small business, there needs to be a profit, but taking advantage of someone is a whole different story. Turned my car around and immediately picked up the dress and never going back.

Toula was fantastic. The customer service was great. Stella made me a bridal hair comb which received many compliments. Also, I had beautiful winter cape that was made by Ms. Couture for my wedding day.

Not the place to go for plus size brides. They try to push things on you that you dont want just because they feel uncomfortable. For example, my dress was strapless but they tried to push me to get straps over and over to help hide my back fat. They dont listen to what your vision for your dress is if it doesnt fit with their vision for your dress. They cut something off of my dress because it just wasnt going to work even though I begged them not to. Then in order to fix what they had removed I was charged extra. They try to fit you in to their schedule instead of working with whats best for you. Poor customer service all around. Do not reccomend.

It’s been five years and I’m still mad about my experience with Ms Couture. Bottom line: she stepped on my dress with her slipper and it left a mark. She claims it wasn’t from her “because her slippers are clean” (they obviously were not clean). She insisted I pay an extra $100 to have it cleaned and I was trapped so I agreed. When I went to pick up my dress a week before my wedding it was still dirty. They tried one more time to get it out and ended up having to sew a layer over it to hide the stain. This was super disappointing, but why am I still so upset?: the way I was treated. My business was obviously not important to them and they were almost taunting me to pull my dress and go elsewhere (forfeiting a bunch of $$$). I hated they way this made me feel and the dress was slightly too loose for my wedding.

I had an amazing experience with Ms. Couture! My wedding dress fit perfectly on my wedding day and Dina made me and my bridal party and family feel warm and welcomed!!

I had an awful experience at Ms Couture. While the prices here are more affordable than some other places in Chicago, it’s definitely not worth the stress and terrible customer service you receive as a trade off. During the initial consultation Toula assured me “everything is possible” and I would only need to come in for 3-4 fittings. My wedding dress needed to be taken in, hemmed and bustled- I was quoted $750. I took my dress in 3 months before my wedding, thinking it was plenty of time and I would get my dress back with enough time before the wedding. I ended up having to go in for more than 8 fittings, each time the work I thought would be completed wasn’t. Toula would just say to me “I can’t rush, we have to do it in steps”. Stella was lovely, but I found Toula to be quite rude- she never really listened to what I wanted. My final fittings were constantly being pushed back because “they were very busy” and when I went to pick up my dress 3 days before the wedding, it was still not completed and did not turn out at all how I had hoped. I ended up having to take my dress elsewhere to be fixed only days before my wedding. The whole experience was incredibly stressful - I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Brought my wedding dress which had been destroyed by another tailor... I was worried it was a lost cause but the women at Ms Couture brought it back to life and Ive never loved the dress more. Ive recommended Ms Couture for wedding dress and bridal party alterations to everyone

Mrs. Toula and the team at Ms. Couture surpassed my hopes & expectations for alterations on my dream wedding gown. Knowing that my dress had detailed layers to the organza skirt, I was very nervous for anyone to touch it! Ms. Couture came highly recommended by more than a few contacts of mine, & I couldnt have been happier with the impeccable work they did on my dress. They took special care and put pride in the detail of my gown, which I felt at every fitting & especially on my wedding day! Thank you, Mrs. Toula & team, for being patient with my alterations needs & surpassing my highest expectations! I felt so beautiful!

BRIDES RUN!!! The main seamstress did NOT listen to what I wanted. She CUT the bottom of my dress without my OK and it was two inches shorter on one side and long on the other side it was all off. I had these diamond looking crystals on my dress and 3 of them in the front were missing. I cried in front of them and they did not care. She did not listen to anything I asked. There were black spots on my dress. I ended up taking it from them after the 4th alteration (no it was not done after 4 alterations) Everyone was SHOCKED at the condition of my dress and how I was treated. This is your bridal dress go to the best person who will take care of it and make you feel special THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO TO. Oh did I mention that I drove 3 hours one way to get these alterations. I am so glad I took it from them. I know had to find Shorter heels because they cut it too short on one side. I ended up going to Bella Bianca in Oakbrook and get my dress in a couple weeks.

I wouldnt recommend this shop to anyone. The customer service is completely awful. The owner and her daughter are completely rude and yell at you when you ask for something to be changed. I walked away completely unhappy and still had to pay for the awful tailoring. Save yourself the time & dont ever use Ms Couture

Okay so I am in love with ToulaShe tailored my oldest daughters dress 7 years ago and now made perfection for my youngestThis dress was a terrible experience, we used the seamstress at the designers salon and the dress was ruined2 1/2 weeks before her wedding the designer finally agreed to make another dress and send it to Ms Couture for alterationsThe dress came back from NY too big and Toula did her wonders in on,y 1week! My daughter is getting married this Saturday and her dress is now perfection thanks to this shop!Do not let anyone talk you into alterations anywhere else in Chicago, Toula her daughter Stella and their staff are true professionals!!Thank you again Toula for making my daughters dream come true😘I will post pictures after the weddingYou are the bestLoveMarySue Solleyευχαριστώ

I decided to go with a blush gown when blush gowns were just becoming a mainstream thing, so my options for veils were extremely limited. After being told by a dress store, that my only option for a veil that matched would be from London, England and paying an exorbitant amount - it still didnt match! Toula at Ms. Couture saved the day. She took one look at my dress and knew exactly what to do. I admit, if I had purchased the veil already made it probably would have been a different style, but Toula is an expert and made the most perfect veil to coordinate with the old hollywood silhouette of my dress. The veil completed the picture. And Toulas workmanship was unmatched.

I will always take my dresses here. Best in the business!!!!!!
