Came here to dry clean an expensive dress and it came back fast and clean but the seams around both sleeves looks like it went through a beating and it’s coming apart. I don’t blame CD cleaners though, I think the cheap quality of the dress wasn’t made to withstand anything even though it was expensive. So I have filed a complaint with Reformation.

CD One Price Cleaners will clean your clothes but not your pocket! They will reasonably and overnight rapidly dry clean your garments making them look fresh and clean. Ive brought my clothes here for a while and I have never had a problem.

This place is the absolute worst dry cleaners I’ve ever been to in my life. They have ruined many many clothes of mine. We live in the area so I gave them a first try and they ruined two tops of mine, and I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and think maybe it was an accident and one time thing but it’s now happened multiple times where my clothing is coming back with stains, tears and holes. This is absolutely insane that they call themselves a Dry cleaners. They don’t clean your clothes, they ruin them!

Some girl name Adeline took care of me. I was having a bad day. Her kindness changed my whole day around. It’s funny how someone’s attitude can make your whole day. I’ll be bringing my dry cleaning here from now on.

The Staff is always so pleasant, and when there’s a line, you can tell they pick up the pace and move it quicker. I use the drop off bags, and you can text them you’re coming to skip the line altogether!Best prices around as well!

I asked them to dry clean the polished cotton garment. Apparently it was machine washed and dried. At pick up it was still wrinkled at the ruffles and all integrity of the garment was lost. The manager refused to issue a refund exclaiming the ruffles would come out of they tried to iron them.Nonsense. I asked them to iron the garment and the manager argued with me. I told her Ive been dressmaking for 30 years and I know fabric. She rolled her eyes and said rude things as she walked away to finally give my $4.00 back.As a result, I had to buy new fabric to recreate the garment in record time because it was due Saturday.At this point Im.looking to file a lawsuit for damages. I lost time and money for a partial refund to my client.This is the third incident of damaged garments with one price on cermak.

Personable staff that always welcomes me with a smile in addition to the quality dry cleaning service. I’ve been a customer for more than 6 years. They have never lost or damaged an item of mine in that span. Can’t say the same for my previous service.

I always drove past this place on my way to and from work and its always a line, and now that Ive started using them I see why! First class service from start to finish. I dont have time during the work week to do laundry and definitely dont want to spend one of my off days doing it, so this is perfect for me. Drop off in the morning, pick it up after 5 pm. Great employees who hustle and care.

I sent my comforter in for cleaning. It is white and when I picked it up and got it home, there were more spots on it than when it was sent. It’s also incredibly stiff and I have to spend time taking it somewhere else to be cleaned.Also, when I asked about area rug cleaning, the manager ran down all the rules and procedures before answering my first and only question, “how do they determine the cost?” This is after I asked a young man and he had no clue and lied about the answer.

(Written 7/6/21 morning) They gave me the wrong clothes inside my laundry bag. They have yet to respond,. I went back and they couldn’t find them. Said they would call back and it’s already been three days. I did learn a lesson, pay up I at hotel laundry. I already spent almost 100 USD going back and forth to drop off, pick up and then leave the wrong clothes to ask for mine. Don’t know what will happen if they find mine. Would they send to my hotel?(7/7/21) Yesterday, I finally got my laundry. And I have to give to Jazmin who stepped up and brought the clothes to my hotel. Things happen, I understand we can all make mistakes, so it’s more about what you do to do solve problems, than the actual error. So thanks Jazmin, Lucy and the whole team who helped.

I had 15 items cleaned 3 of those items were not pressed as they had been done before. I priorattribute this to all new staff and older experienced staff not reviewing staff work. My prior experience has been professional cleaned and pressed clothing.

The staff are good at listening to the details of my stains, and the proof is in the beautiful job with no trace of coffee on the cashmere sweater! Great staff, fluid lines so the wait time for me has never exceeded 5 minutes! Never had an issue with them.

I’m a new customer. I haven’t had the chance to assess the quality of the cleaning &/or pressing of my garments yet. I like the convenience of the location. However, don’t like the fact that there’s no parking lot. The staff’s appearance is very professional with the shirts labeled with their names. I also appreciate the friendliness of the staff the 2 times I’ve gone into the business. I’m planning to provide an updated evaluation once I’ve gotten the time to wear the clothes I’ve gotten serviced.

This is my go to for dry cleaners! Always friendly, often has my garments ready before the quoted times. I wish they could dry clean my Amiri Jeans that say dry clean only. I also would like if they didn’t take the strings out of my garments. It’s hard to put them back into my hoodies and shorts.

CD One Price is my go to for all my dry cleaning needs. I have never encountered a problem.

Good, fast and reasonable prices…but parking is a nightmare

The process of drop off and pick up is smooth. The only problem is due to the great value and great work its popularity is very high and its often a wait for a parking

I dropped off clothing to get them dry-cleaned. Upon returning a couple days later, the clerk told me that I had nothing to pick-up. I did not have a copy of the receipt but I did have an email confirmation that I received that same morning, informing me that my order was ready. Instead of them taking extra time to verify, Madeline (clerk) simply told me that there was nothing more that they could do - especially since I did not have the receipt. This was unacceptable.After I contacted the corporate office and asked for the owner of that location, I received voice messages from Lucy (manager) and Madeline. Madeline apologized and agreed that I did have clothing to pick-up. She also told me that there was an error in their system. For some reason I had 2 accounts under my name. One of the accounts showed no orders while the other did. What I find ironic is that - only after I requested the owners contact info did they find that I had a second account with an open order. Again, this is unacceptable and unprofessional. Ive patronized CD One for many years, however Ive not used this location for long.What I also find unacceptable is that I was promised a callback from Lucy but received nothing. This lack of accountability and unprofessionalism is typical for that location.Historically my experience patronizing them is positive, however Ive noticed how dismissive and passive aggressive its staff behaves when a mistake is made. My request is that the staff is better trained on how to navigate successfully in the service industry and practice accountability.I will make the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce aware of this. This behavior is unacceptable and does not reflect the stellar service I receive from other CD One locations. I recommend Ashland or Broadway Avenue locations as an alternative.

Great for quick, well priced service. I like that they can do some of the bulkier items like down comforters and winter jackets for a great price. Plus they have a hanger return so I dont have to throw away all those hangers and plastic. The employees are all really helpful and work hard to get you through quickly.

Do not use wash and fold service here, My washer broke so I’ve been using wash and fold service till my washer get fixed. They lost one sock (happened several times but it is okay, it happens. I understand.) But today they destroyed my daughter favorite skirts and said they don’t have responsibility since this kind of skirt should be dry clean. I just followed instructions from the tag attached. So be aware when you using wash and fold service here!

My recent experiences with CD One have become quite disappointing. Im a long-time customer, and Ive had items misplaced and damaged without a callback or a solution.The most recent disappointment happened when I tried their laundry service in March for my linens and comforters. In truth, as I shared with them, I was pleased with the comforters. On the other hand, the bed linens were returned to me nearly balled up and not fresh smelling.When I spoke to Dulce(sp?), she was apologetic and offered to have them redone. Unfortunately, she wasnt there when I went in, and the manager on duty offered to redo up to ten dollars on an order that was $183.00, primarily comforters, despite what I had been told by the other manager.I spoke with Dulce(sp?) again, and she offered to do them personally but then got hurt. Now, I’m let down yet again because she wont return my calls or text messages, and the laundry is still riding around in my car. Fortunately, my family is blessed to have several sets of laundry.I dont think its fair to have to repay for something that wasnt done correctly in the first place. Im a business owner myself, and Customer Experience is EVERYTHING!So, I’ll throw the linen away or find someone else to do it. I miss my old laundry person; I’m sad that she had to retire, but its well-deserved; she was meticulous and fabulous at her job. Ifonly I could fold my linens so perfectly, I would.Thousands of dollars that I have spent with this business, and this is how they show their appreciation. I’ll be moving on if they dont make this right by June 1st! Done!

Terrible customer service. I dropped off my clothes for dry cleaning weeks ago and was unable to pick up half of my order due to a machine malfunction in their shop. I have been to the location twice and both times the staff was unapologetic for the inconvenience and unwilling to compensate me for the cost of cleaning due to the inconvenience. I was advised that a manager would contact me last week to discuss compensation and I am still awaiting outreach. Will definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

Ive been taking them all my dry cleaning, including my below the knee down filled winter coat they charge the same $3.99 to clean, which they do very well.

Bad experience first time customer. Here is what happened while it was snowing out of course. Dropped off laundry in the morning called at noon for an ETA they said 2 or 3pm. It’s 4pm and they said “oh it’s not ready yet...probably like an hour” why would I call? Why would I drive in the snow to come here for you to tell me another hour? They didn’t have an answer. So I wasted my time, my gas and energy just drive back out here to pick it up later on. First time customer and last time customer. I only came here because my regular place was closed with unforeseen circumstances. I rather wash my clothes in my tub than deal with this place again. Unprofessional liars.

I had the wash-and-fold service on a Saturday My sheets came back folded, but unwashed with yellow stains all over them. I had to take the sheets to the laundry myself in order to put them back on my bed, as they were not open on Sunday. It was AWFUL!

I have had nothing but pleasant and successful experiences with CD One Price Cleaners on Michigan Ave. To a person, all of the attendants are bright, cheerful, helpful, efficient. I live at 300 N., but will always go to CD on Michigan Ave.. There’s nothing comparable. (My former cleaners charged twice as much, and took 4 days to return my garments!)

Often clothing is left behind because staff fail to give you all your items at time of pick up. Clothing has doubled crease and when staff are asked to correct the problem the have an attitude and tell u you to return the next day to pick up item.

My experience was very trying. I had to go back and forth with the cleaners four times before they got it right as far as cleaning my white business shirt because the collar was not clean and one sleeve still had a couple of stains on it.

I had approx 20 pieces cleaned mostly white in color. My white jumper and brand new white blouse came back. Dingy gray as if they cleaned with blue jeans. Who does that?

The rack broke. It took almost a week to get my clothes. All they could say was sorry .

I recently had an experience that has me considering finding another cleaner. I received a call another customer of your cleaners, who informed me had my cleaning order. It was given to him by mistake and was goin to return the next day.Upon my next visit I retrieved my order that had been given to the wrong person, and I asked to speak to a manager. My intent was to make him/her aware of what had happened and to perhaps receive a little reassurance this would not happen again. The woman who I spoke to very was very impersonal and dismissive. I wandered who would entrust management of a business of this scale to her? But nonetheless, I was angered by her response, or lack of, and starting thinking of alternative cleaners. I was more influenced not to patronize by her, than the fact my sweaters were given to wrong person and actually left the premises.

Friendly staff very, quick service and did an excellent job cleaning my coat but the price was amazing. Will definitely be going back.

I typed a review and it didnt post so Im trying it again. This place is fantastic! Quick turnaround. Helpful staff. They do a great job and are always willing to redo anything that doesnt meet expectations the first time (maybe Im just particularly good at staining my shirts). They let me know when it will be ready and always contact me (usually early) when I can pick up. Parking can be difficult, but there is a loading zone out front, and usually you can get away with putting your flashing lights on if you are going to be pretty quick.
