Lourdes left my wedding gown looking like new. I decided to go with them because of their amazing reviews and honestly the reviews fall short of just how great their service is. Lourdes even sewed some of the details of my dress back on and expedited the cleaning at no additional cost. You just dont get this type of service in Chicago. Definitely have a customer for life, thank you!

Azim provided excellent customer service. When the 3rd party apps (like DRYV) we’re charging BOTH pick up and drop off fees plus 9 DAYS for delivery AND inflated per-item prices, Azim worked me with directly to get my shirts and ties dry cleaned and pressed without the 3rd party. He said it would take a couple days to deliver, but was delivered same day! Will continue to use his services.

Great cleaners. Fair prices and quick turn times. Its an old school cleaners where they do the work on site. You see employees steaming and cleaning garments. I like that. One drawback, its hot as hell in there. I wish the working conditions were better.

My building doesn’t have a laundry room and I have no room in my apartment for a washing machine, so I had to look for a reliable laundry cleaning service in the neighborhood a few days after I moved here. This place is very close to where I live and, so far, the staff has been nothing but helpful and nice, and the work they do is really great. Having such a neat place nearby really took a load off my shoulders. What makes it even better is that my money is going to an owner-operated business rather than a conglomerate. I’m sticking with this dry cleaner for sure!

This is by far my favorite dry cleaner in Chicago, IL! I have been coming back for the great service but also because of the friendly staff that always keeps the atmosphere positive and light. I have had many pleasant conversations with the people working there and I have never had a bad encounter with them, which happens a lot at different places and shops. I also appreciate the fair prices and the quality of their work. I won’t be changing dry cleaners any time soon!

I recall coming in here a few months ago with a varsity jacket that I had lovingly restored that needed its final freshening. Being as it had leather he explained the process and that it would need to be outsourced. The coolest part was that he took pride in this project and would even give me updates when I came in to do my regular laundry.

Before a couple of days was the wedding of my best friend so I was invited. I bought a brand new white costume that I just fell in-love with. And... it just happened one guy dropped his glass of red wine on the table... my clothes were soiled all over. My sister recommended your company. I am so impressed with the speed and the quality of your work. I appreciate that, thank you so much!

TERRIBLE. They lost my favorite custom made shirt. At the time it happened they promised to reimburse the 150 cost. But then they stonewalled me for months and then eventually just offered me like 20 bucks saying thats industry standard because the shirt was a year old or whatever. The whole thing was extremely dishonest and just plain wrong. This business has no integrity and does not care about its customers. I wouldnt even trust them when they say are using green cleaning methods. Total liars. Incompetent and dishonest is not a winning combination.

I have gone to several dry cleaners trying to find someone who has great customer service, can truly clean my clothes well and have a fast turnaround. Chicago green dry cleaners have been able to meet our expectations, they even drop and pick up my clothes. What more can you ask for?!

Do NOT come here for tailoring. I just recently had a horrendous experience here when I went in to get my bridesmaid dress tailored. I brought the dress in to have it shortened and to have it taken in about an inch because the top was too big. When I came to the store I had to get changed in what looked like a break room/kitchen which was absolutely filthy. I should have left right then, but unfortunately I didnt. The girl working took my measurements and then told me they would have to send the dress to the tailor, who does not actually work at the store.About two weeks later I hadnt heard about my dress so I called the store and they told me it had been ready a few days (you would think they would call to let me know that?). When I arrived, I tried on the dress again and the top had been taken in so far that it was about 4 inches away from being able to be zipped. Keep in mind the top was originally TOO BIG and Im pretty petite as it is so Im not sure how that dress would have fit anyone outside of maybe an elementary schooler. The staff that was working there at the time admitted that something obviously went very wrong and they would send the dress back to the tailor to let out the sides as much as possible. They were afraid the tailor had cut too much fabric and that it wouldnt be fixed so they advised me that I may end up having to speak with the owner so they could refund me for the dress. Of course I was hoping that this wouldnt be the case and it would be fixed but a week later I came to try it on and although it was better, it was still about an inch away from being able to close.The wedding is now 2 weeks away and my dress is essentially unwearable due to it not being able to close and they got rid of the fabric that was cut out of it. The girl at the desk gave me the owners contact information and I called him immediately. He informed me that alterations cannot be guaranteed and they are not responsible. I told him that his staff was well aware of the issue and asked him to please talk to them so that he could understand that this issue was not my fault or the fault of a complicated alteration request but was either because my measurements were taken incorrectly (which is possible considering this staff member is not a tailor) or something happened while the dress was at the tailor.After calling the owner and e-mailing a couple of times I finally received another response from him which was, There will be no reimbursement. Alterations have no guarantee it will fit you. There is only so much material to work with on your dress. I talked to the alteration lady who did your dress and she told me thats why she left it a little loose the first time.You ask to be smaller again and this was the result...This response was extremely frustrating because it didnt reflect the reality of the situation. My dress was originally too big and his response stated that my original issue was it being too small which shows he wasnt even paying attention. He also told me that I had cost HIM valuable time and money with this situation which is completely absurd. I had to go to this store about 6 times to try to rectify this issue and now I have an unwearable dress that cost $200.The owner and staff never apologized and refuse to reimburse me. Overall this was a really terrible experience, terrible dress alteration and terrible customer service. Even though this situation was specific to tailoring, I recommend avoiding this place for all services because of the way this was handled.

Affordable and professional dry cleaning service!

Initially I though Chicago green cleaners was great since they were willing to clean a couture shirt. After using them a few more times they shrunk to the point of ruin 2 favorite sweaters and a brand new button down. I called to tell the clerk she was rude and didnt care. Very upsetting.Not worth the extravagant expense of going to this place.

Superb customer service and quality of service can’t be beat! Best thing is that after change in ownership over a year ago it has only improved that much more. I haven’t been satisfied anywhere else. Will keep coming here for all of my needs. Oh did I mention they do free pick up and deliveries on tuesdays and fridays!?!
