Like another reviewer, Im also a queer AFAB. I cut my own hair because Im poor and no one gets what I want. I went to this place to get shave/fade fixed in the back and the side. Emanuel was great. It was quick, clean, painless, and affordable.

This place was great. Being a queer lady.. some places wont cut my hair. (Yes I have been turned away from quite a few places) This place was very friendly, made me feel very comfortable and gave me a sick fade..and the price was reasonable. Shout out to Manny. He is nice with the clippers.

I went there for a quick and simple cut (even all around and lining). Something simple and I wish he would’ve asked if I wanted a razor to my face. A day later I had a scar on the side of my face. Didn’t feel it right away. The cost was $40???! Not the ideal price for that cut at all. I’ll just keep looking for a cut!

Go here if you need a proper fade. I got exactly what I asked for and lines were touched up with a razor, which I didnt get at my previous barbershop. Will definitely go here again.

The best barber shop I have ever been too. And I have been to many. They spend over 30 minutes perfecting your look. I have short hair because I am balding. I cut it every 10 days. They give me razor sharp lines and go all around my head in great detail. Also they cut excess hair around eye brows.

Pretty sure my barber was stoned. He would talk for 5 minutes then go back to buzzing me for 5 seconds and repeat. Haircut took way too long and was nothing special.

My usual barber was closed, so I stopped by here last night. Tate cut my hair. He did an ok job and took a little longer than my usual barber. Everything was kosher til it came time to pay. I looked at the prices: Regular haircut: $14I handed him a $20 and he pocketed it, assuming that I was tipping him $6.I will not be going back to Hectors for a haircut.

Anyone who grades this place as Excellent is not thinking clearly or is related to the shop!I walked into this place, b/c i didnt want to cab it my regular guy in Ukrainian Village, so i thought take a walk in neighborhood, the Joes Barber shop was packed, and another reference site said skilled guys were here. WRONG!I asked for an regular haircut, ive asked for this same haircut all over the USA (from Las Vegas to Houston to Miami) and when i lived in London, UK,,,,NEVER once did someone screw it up to this point, ive never had anyone mistake regular haircut as to shave head! Not even in Ft. Hood, Texas which is an 100% military town. Ive had people of both genders, every ethnic race, and people who spoke no english from which i used an electronic translator to say: regular haircut. Guy asked what type of guard, i said 2, he asked all around from which i thought like everywhere ive went for last 20+ years meant all around back & sides.Guy started with an strip down middle, i caught him half way, with an WTF! Are you doing! Would have prolly started cussing loudly if it wasnt for children running around!I immediately asked is there anyway to fix this! Basically i had an strip size of an clipper guard from front of my head towards back of my head! Guy was like ummm i guess there was a misunderstanding, you think! If i wanted my head shaved i would have clearly said i want my head shaved with an 2 guard! I ended up having to just have my whole head shaved b/c of this VERY BAD ERROR OF JUDGEMENT! I havent had an shaved head haircut since i was a little boy, im 28 now.Guy still charged me for his UTTER SCREW UP!I am very irritated about this, i have plans for traveling coming up very soon, would like to enjoy my vacation but have an shaved head now from which ill be stuck wearing an hat for the next month!PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE, YOU MIGHT AS WELL GO TO THE LOCAL BARBER SCHOOL AND SAY SURPRISE ME!

Highly disappointed with this barbershop, they refused to cut my 8 year old sons hair because each barber had one person waiting but they close at 6pm and I was there at 5pm so how are you too busy...how do u close your doors before your operating hours?
