My first time here to get a haircut from my sister Cacha Huff. Shop is clean, inviting and organized. Cacha did a great job cutting my hair. She explained each product she used on my scalp and how it would help my hair to grow. I will definitely be back.

The experience was overall a great one! The stylist Esmeralda really took her time with the cut and made sure I was content with the length and look of the hair cut. Fallon was great. I came in without an appointment as it was finally time to trim off what was left of my hair during chemo. Ill go back for maintenance trims until it really starts to grow back. It could be uncomfortable to provide this service but Fallon and Vs were the perfect answer to a tough situation. And Im happy not to be straggly and shedding long hairs anymore!

I waited about three years to see this location open, and they did not disappoint. I went to one in Phoenix originally while on vacation and just loved the oldschool barbershop aesthetic. Great decor and even greater service. You barely have to explain what type of cut youd like, and always come out looking good. It’s so hard to find a stylist that’s consistent as well as a great conversationalist, ask for Esmerelda!

Excellent as always! I love the antique but yet so clean/shiny atmosphere. Plenty of room too if worried about social distancing. Also great place for other non-binaries and those looking for a masculine style. I will always recommend Jas.

Vs Barbershop is top notch. From the moment you walk through the door, you feel welcome and taken care of. My Grandpa was a barber and the style and smell of the shop was very nostalgic for me. I also brought my 4 year old son and they were great with him. We left with great cuts and a even better experience.

After having the same hair stylist for 10 years, I had to find a new person after she moved back to Florida. I am thrilled to have found Esmeralda. I have fine hair, but a lot of it...so even though I keep it short, I prefer a razor to be used to keep in light. She was amazing and did a fabulous job. I will definitely be coming back here.

V’s is a great place for a haircut! Not only is the entire staff extremely cool, kind and easy going, they are dang good at their jobs! I’ve gotten two haircuts from V’s so far and I’ve had Jas and Dell cut my hair. They were both fun to talk to and extremely good at their job! I’m a funny looking guy to begin with so if they can make me look semi-presentable, you can bet I’ll be back! I’d specifically recommend Jas or Dell to anyone but also V’s in general. V’s in Wicker Park is a fantastic haircut. Finding a great barber is one of those things that feels amazing when you get your cut just right. Esmeralda did an incredible job, and her attention to detail was incredible. The owner is a class act as well - I’d highly recommend V’s, and I plan on being a regular here!

The staff was incredible, and my appointment was on time. Rocky, who cut my hair, was extremely friend and flexible with working around wearing a mask. Rocky did a very good jobI used to go to another place for past 2 years but since COVID my hair stylist stopped working at that location and I didn’t like other hair stylist at a previous location. I gave a try here and I really liked the work by Rocky with patience and no hurry and he gave his best, I like the changeI will continue with him as I don’t like changing hair stylists.Highly recommend.

I was going to Sports Clips before and my cuts started going downhill, so thought Id switch things up despite the hair washing, hot towel and mini massage. Esmereldas attention to detail is phenomenal. Best cut Ive had in a long time and only moderately more than Sports Clips. Ill def be back.

The inside is immaculate and has a great throwback to barbershops of old feel to it from the chairs to the wall adornments paying homage to Chicago sports history.Dell proved to be a fantastic barber! I was impressed by his immaculate attention to detail and left with a great cut to start the week.With Vs being on par with or cheaper than many other shops Ive tried around Chicago, this place ticked all of my boxes. My husband just got his first haircut in 3 months and he cannot stop raving about V’s and Esmeralda. He said he feels like a new person and even called it “life-changing”. A little dramatic, I know, but this was from a guy who’s always gone to Sportclips for his haircuts 🤪. They are such a great addition to the neighborhood and we definitely recommend them!

Lisa gave me such a great haircut, the shop is very nice and laid back, and the little extras (neck shave, massage, hot towel) are all very enjoyable. Saved $20 from where I used to go and had a much better experience and haircut.

I stopped in for an impromptu haircut after a rough day. I had some photos of what I was thinking I’d try and showed Rocky, my barber. Rocky let me know that because of where my undercut landed it’d be a high fade and I’d have to wait for a little more growth to get to the length I wanted.Honestly, I was a little nervous about going so short but I have to say it was the right way to set me up for the best grow out. Not to mention it’s the most exact fade I’ve ever had, and like magic there were no loose hairs on me after so I could’ve easily gone out without worrying about little hairs poking me everywhere. The only thing to note is that it took about an hour vs. the 30 min so I did have to rush out to pick up my partner and skip the neck massage, but otherwise it was great. Rocky did a great job, the space is beautifully set up, and everyone I interacted with was friendly and professional. Worth the $. Check’m out.
