This is a very Elegant place to get your haircut done. The receptionist offered us beverages while we are waiting in their classy and comfortable waiting area. Comfortable sofa, elegant but masculine style of the place impressed me. Barber Sam was very knowledgeable and good at his craft. Glad we got him, my fiancee liked his haircut a lot and how San styled his hair for our wedding. I was observing and all of the clients seems very happy of their services here including us. Its one of a kind having your haircut here. This place is very confident and proud how their place look because it was beautiful in every angle. Very instagramable barber shop.(Not like the other barbershop that will message you to remove your photos of their place because it wasnt presentable enough to be in the reviews.)Theres parking around the area too. As in, around this barber shop. So it was very convenient to drive and park here. We will be coming back here and this would be my husbands barbershop from now on. Highly recommended.

In the last two years, Ive been to many Barber shops/ lounges all over these United States and by far this is the best.First the long and varied list of services they do is overwhelming at first. Hair, beard, manicure, pedicure, facials, shoe shines and more are available. They stock an incredible amount of products in the lounge.The space is bright, clean, and spacious; with comfortable chairs in the lounge area. Water and hot beverages are available, while waiting, or while in the chair.Every detail is perfection; from the barbers professional dress, to the layout, to the design of the stations.I was fortunate to have Yaya as my barber on my first visit. He was friendly, professional and talented. The quality of the haircut was amazing but the overall experience was the best I have experienced over many years.Kudos to Yaya and the staff for a wonderful experience I will tell my friends about.

First time here, I came in for a haircut and I came a little early and they took me right away which was really nice of them. On top of that the whole place is really clean really nice and it’s one of those places that you don’t expect to be a barbershop but they do exceed expectations. Personal cut my hair was super nice super helpful took his time and I really made sure that everything looked good before he let me go and I’m very impressed and very happy that I came in and now I will forever be a customer here.

I have bounced around a few barbershops in the city and this is by far the best I have found. Their prices are fair and the quality of the haircuts and beard lineups is unmatched in my opinion. The entire place is very clean and very professional. I have always went to Sam and he does an amazing job.

First and last visit. Came in for a simple beard trim, to shape it up some. Made an appointment and did not see the person I had reserved time with online. I wasnt concerned thinking whomever I got would be good given the reviews and the way the establishment presented itself. The trim I got was far worse than what I could have given myself and not what I was looking for. Instead of shaping my beard up, an overly short guard was used all over. It was so poorly done with hairs missed all over. I had to attempt to fix it when I got home. I Had high hopes from the reviews I saw but was severely disappointed. A total waste of money

When you step into Goodmans with its amazing chairs, fixtures, and overall motif, you are immediately taken to another time. Just being inside takes your mind off anything that might have had you stressed and the services havent even started yet. I had a full shave from Sam and you can easily recognize his skill and attention to detail. So relaxing and high quality shave. Will definitely be back.

Horrible experience. I had a 10 am appointment that should have taken on 30 minutes. I showed up 15 minutes early and waited until 10:20. Nobody called me back for my service. I was told that my barber was running late, but there were others being serviced. I’d rather them cancel my appointment than waste my time.

I trusted Goodmans with my head/haircut for my wedding haircut and they delivered. The waiting area is super cozy. The staff cutting hair are all great. The experience was personable, professional, and you cant ask for more than that for a mens cut.

Visited them last week and the place looked pretty good - it was clean and hygienic. Very well maintained. Great customer service at the front desk. Got my first time discount too. The only thing was my barber (Sam) didnt seem interested in giving me a haircut. Looked like he was just trying to rush through it and wanted to get the job done. Kept a straight face throughout and was not conversational at all. Moreover, he cut the backside of my ear and didnt care to apologise or ask if everything was okay. I thought I was bleeding but luckily wasnt. Finally, I am mildly satisfied with the overall haircut.

In the past 5 years I grew my hair out twice. The first time I grew it out for two years and the day I went to cut it the barber had destroyed my hair and I paid $80 plus tip to essentially look like a clown.I was nervous the second time around, but I went Monday to potentially set up an appointment at Goodman’s since they had 5 stars. I wasn’t sure I was going to cut my hair after three years, but Yaya made me feel welcome. Gave me a cup of coffee, explained to me his opinion, gave me a lot of confidence and so I set up the appointment.I met up with him today at 9 and I got over the top service, more coffee, had a great hair cut and beard trim for less than $45, which is rare. I’m very happy, they made my experience peaceful. 3 hours later I still feel great about this hair cut and I’m getting great comments on it.11/10. Above expectation. Thank you guys

My overall experience from start to finish was a 3.5 out of 5. The front desk staff was a bit unprofessional. I had my haircut with Yousef. I would still recommend this place as long as their prices fit your budget and you connect well with your barber.

It was my first time a Goodman’s today. I had never had a fresh shave from anyone, so I spoiled myself with a razor shave, and Facial. I booked online, and ended up with Yousef. He was quiet, but extremely friendly. I am hairstylist as well, so it was nice to sit there, getting pampered without the small talk. When I tell you, it was one of the nicest experiences I have ever had, that is an understatement. Yousef started with my razor, beard clean up. I was scared, knowing he could cut my Jugular at any moment. Lol. I trusted him completely. He was gentle, and made me feel very comfortable. After the shave, I’m not going to lie, I didn’t want to get a facial in front of Chicago Av in broad daylight. I was surprised when he brought me to an extremely calming spa/type space. I was relaxed, and at ease. He is the man! The facial was rejuvenating, and so relaxing. He could be a little heavier handed though(I love a deep scrub), but it was completely relaxing. After What seemed like 7 rounds of hot towels on my face,(loved every minute), I passed out. It’s hard for me to calm down, always anxious. This beautiful place made me feel at ease. I work at a 5 star hair salon, and we pride ourselves on customer service, and professionalism. I walked out of this amazing space wondering if we should team up. Lol. I can’t rememeber the last time I have a top notch service like that. 20/10, unbelievable. I’m so glad I found this Beaut! Also Yousef, you are GREAT at what you do.

Wow!! This barbershop is absolutely amazing! The cleanliness of it is 10/10 stars. Nothing but good service and happy and friendly staff! Not to mention this was the best haircut Ive ever received in my life from the worker Yehya (Yaya). He took his time, made sure I was comfortable, asked me if I needed water or wanted a coffee! He went out of his way to make sure that I was enjoying my experience. And yes this haircut was an EXPERIENCE. I will always choose this barbershop and always use that barber Yaya! I was out there for the haircut with my brother. Its a calming and welcoming place. The straight razor shave for manly males is the facial. It is a pleasure to experience. Theres nothing on your face like a hot towel, or shaving creams manly scent to sap the tension right out of your body. Weve come home really pleased. He cherished, as he said, his haircut. Highly advised!

The guys at the front were nice and accommodating since I messed up my reservation time. The guy who cut my hair, however, did an absolutely awful job. How can you mess up someone’s hair so bad that gets a 1.5 on the sides and a slight trim on top?? It’s the easiest cut of a lifetime. Crooked edges, missed spots of hair, uneven length?? Will never ever recommend this place to anyone.

The team here is exceptional and offers great service. Even down to advising you on the best type of pomade to put in your hair.While they do take walk ins, I can imagine calling ahead is a better idea as I’m sure they’ll be a lot busier once the word gets out.Don’t be put off by the ultra high end decor and vibe. Haircuts are $40, which is pretty reasonable given what other similar shops charge.

Just had my first haircut there. Good service and fair price

Was walking by in the neighbourhood and stumbled upon this place. Wow! Absolutely amazing! First of all the space is massive, which is not usually the style of regular barbershops. You won’t feel cramped in this space. I walked in and was immediately taken care of by the check-in staff, and was offered a choice of coffee or water. After waiting a few minutes, a very well-dressed barber by the name of Rami came to get me. As we went to his station I noticed that all the other barbers were dressed the same way. Suited & booted to the nines! Rami was excellent and very friendly. All in all, a fantastic experience, and worth the price! Will definitely go back again!
