I went to this barbershop when it first opened, and it was the best salon experience I ever had. The staff there is so friendly and professional. They did exactly what I asked and did the best job! I completely recommend this salon to everyone. It is a beautiful place, very neat and clean. I will definitely travel and go back because I enjoy the service!

Been getting my hair cut at one of their locations since the first one opened up! The owners are great as are all their employees. Ive never gotten a bad cut there.Youll be sure to find someone you get along with who will keep you coming back for cut after cut.Theyve been taking tons of precautions during covid and Ive felt safe there everytime Ive gone in during the pandemic.

The staff members greeted us promptly and given an excellent haircut. My mom was so happy with her new haircut. Prices are generally the same as most other shops but the talent and staff are awesome, unlike the other salon/ barbershop. Highly recommended!

Easy way to book a barber on their webshop. Price is affordable and really competitive with other franchise barbershops. The staff is really friendly and professional. Coffee and beer were offered to me free of charge just to get smooth. Beard trim and shave is done within 30 minutes only. Highly recommended for all men and women.

If you are a man and want to have a decent haircut go to a Barbershop. I tried many places in Chicago, spent a lot of money and finally found this place. Normally I book appointments with Carl because he is the best. There are other barbers who are pretty good too. You just have to book 4 weeks earlier.

The brother still cuts and is in high demand so I won’t give out his name.Tyler cuts my hair when Taylor isn’t available. Other than the phenomenal job they do, they both have awesome interests in their personal lives, so on top of leaving with a fresh cut, I look forward to catching up. I have pretty thin hair and a receding hairline so when a barber can work with it they’re the real deal.I started going to Taylor because I saw how good she was at the first location. I kept going to her because she really hooks it up and, like I said, she’s got a cool personal life.I started going to Tyler because I saw her work on Instagram (@_golden__clippers_). Her profile is dominated by consistent and high quality haircuts. She’s my go-to right now because I’m growing my hair out a bit for a slightly different look, I just want to stick with one person while I do that, and she’s doing an impressive job.For the past 5 years my primary barber has been Austin. She works at the first location, but she rarely has availability these days. They grow up so fast *tear*

Pretty chill place with a good vibe. May have just been my barber that didnt know what a taper was. Had to explain it and it wasnt 100%. Plus prices were more than my normal place.

Went to Carl for over 3 years before I moved out of the city and got a great cut every time. You have to book well in advance because the secret is out and he gets booked fast but it’s worth it.

Best barbershop in Chicago. Couldnt find a good barber for almost a year before deciding to try Old Town Barbershop. Have been going to the Wells St. location for years now, but the Lake Street location makes it easy to pop in at lunch at after work. Talented barbers and a great atmosphere.

I’ve been going to Old Town barbershop for just over year now to the Wells location. And recent went to ther new location on Lake because it’s closer and my experience was just a good. The barbers are all friendly and my haircut was just as good. It’s a great feeling knowing I can go to either location get the same great service.

Bad experience with this place. I walked in with my son for a simple hair lining. They did not have anyone available at the time so I was booked in person for a 6:30pm appointment. I was assured that the barber would do a great job. Well upon arrival I sent my son in ahead of me as I parked the car. He met me outside looking confused and upset. He was told that his appointment was given to someone else who later booked it online. I confronted barber personnel and questioned how could someone who booked an appointment in person be bumped for someone online. The worker had no explanation that made any sense. I shared that I lived in the neighborhood and assured them I would never return. Oh did I mention that I am African American. This experience was another case of discrimination. Sorry my son had to see it but glad I was there to explain the situation.

I have been going to Jeff for eight years. The Old Town location has always been great, and now I’m thrilled they’re in West Loop! The shop is super cool, very spacious and everyone inside is friendly.

Was going to their Old Town location prior to this opening. Hands down, best cuts in Chicago. Will not go anywhere else. Love the new digs and thanks to Dustin and the rest of the team for what you do!

Not the best haircut I’ve ever had, didn’t really stick to what I asked for and tried to make all the decisions, and honestly.. just waiting for it to grow back out so I can get it re-done somewhere else.

I was visiting Chicago and just happened to be walking by. I popped in and discovered that they JUST had a cancellation and could take me right away. Perfect!Good conversations were had about our favorite restaurants (Au Cheval, hands down) and I got a great haircut. I couldnt be happier!
