Made an appointment for the day at 6pm. Called in just 15 minutes before with questions about the location, just to have them tell me I don’t have any appointments. Pretty sure the barber was delusional kept saying he already has an appointment at 6pm, which is apparently not me. Anyways can’t speak for the haircut, cause I never got one. But extremely unprofessional from the minimal interaction I had.

Traditional barber shop in the West Loop. It was my first time coming here and I was scheduled an appointment with Earl. My appointment was at 4:30 PM and I was happy that he saw me early because I was out of there by 4:50. Not too bad, especially for the type of cut I wanted. I only had to tell him once how I wanted my haircut and he knew exactly what to do. Whereas other places, I usually have to explain to them in detail and sometimes stop them to correct them if its starting to look like something I didnt ask for. With Earl, none of that happened and I felt completely confident I was getting a quality cut. Hes a 26 year veteran barber with the expertise youre looking for and overall a genuine, good dude. I used to go to Flloyds 99 just up the block but they just dont have the barbers with the skills to do fades the way I like. If youre looking for a good barber and youre in the West Loop, I recommend you check this place out.A few side things:- Its cash only. I get the whole support local businesses, I really do, but there should at least be an option to pay with card. I can imagine its an inconvenience to customers to have to withdraw money. Have the barbers considered using Venmo? Its free to the user. And I can pay them directly.- The front desk/ check in was a bit confusing. For a first time customer, no one actually greeted me or asked if it was my first time. Eventually, a barber that wasnt cutting hair asked me who I was there to see. Immediately after, a girl (who had been on her phone previously, who I assume was the greeter) asked me asked me the same question and then asked me if I wanted a beer. The sequence of events was just a little off. Again, for first time customers, I want to know whats going on first before I get offered a beer. Thanks anyways though :)

Got a professional service but it has to have been the worst haircut Ive gotten and was incredibly expensive for what it was.Im not certain the barbers are familiar with cutting various different styles/types of hair.On my visit, everyone there was African American who have a very different hair type than me, a Middle East/Asian. The barber created this distinct hairline on me that was just unnatural and looked super weird. No one has ever done that to me because its not made for my hair style, type or length.Again, service was professional but the price was not justified, haircut was unfortunately poor and the stylist didnt ask me any questions to clarify if he had doubts about what Im going for.

Daniel is my barber. Daniel is cool. Daniel gives me a yaaassss haircut. I travel 1 hour and more for Daniel to cut my hair. I waited 2 months on an international travel so Daniel will cut my hair when I returned. I will have it no other way. I love this shop and my barber.

Great place for a very good hair cut. Parking can be a problem. But, the end result is worth it. I drive all the way from the south suburbs to have my hair cut even though theres several barbershops within a mile from me. Ask for Kevin, very good barber.

Hip and professional shop with Barbers who know what they are doing. Love the the fact that they take and honor appointments. Parking can be tough but its worth the visit.

Not a great haircut. Barber didnt seem to know how to cut my type of hair, and I had to leave with a buzz cut to salvage the situation.

My first cut here with Eric was OK, but he was 10 mins late and Ive had better cuts at other shops for less money. I figured Id give them a second try since I live in the area and want to support a local shop. Never again. Showed up on time for my appointment and at no point during 20 mins of being there did anyone ask what I was doing there. Several barbers were there, but only one was actually giving a haircut. All the others were chopping it up with regulars, drinking beers, and ducking in and out of the back room as DMX blared over the stereo. At one point, one of the barbers exchanged pills with another guy in the shop. Nothing against guys having a good time at work, but this made for a pretty bad experience...all for a just OK, overpriced cut.
