This is a great shop run by women who know how to cut men’s hair well. It is a very comfortable, respectable environment ripe with good social conversations. I recommend them.

The place is an institution. Filled with Black history and local characters. Prices are just high enough to keep the riffraff out; not that the owner would allow any thuggery in the shop anyway. She is a tough no nonsense cookie, that will give you a mean cut. Any barber in the place will give you a good haircut. My only complaint is that the towels are a little dingy.

Truly awesome place, the guys are great to talk with, and their haircuts rock. I highly recommend them!

This is the best shop in Chicago. Everyone there treats you like family. I get my hair cut by Joe. Hes an amazing barber and has the skills to cut any style you ask him to do. You will leave this shop with a great cut and a lot of laughs every time.

I love Josephines, its an old school shop with a family atmosphere. It has a history within itself. The Barbers here are well knowledgeable and friendly. Its basically a one stop shop, where you can get a cut, color, facial, eyebrow arching, manicures and pedicures. Come on in and give us a try.
