I walked in and was lucky enough to get a fade from Fernando, who operates under the independent label Mona Lisa Fades. I got a great fade and the shop itself has a super cool vibe. I like the music, great conversation, and a great haircut. Highly recommend

Didnt get a cut here but they were super nice and friendly letting me use their restroom after I had some dental work. Its a little thing but Im very grateful :)

I saw Nick for a specialty mens cut. The shop is clean, theres courtesy beer or water, and Nick always greets you with a firm handshake. Hes an incredible barber with a keen sense of what people need. Its usually lighthearted (which I appreciate) but occasionally youll catch him breaking into theory–how a specific persons hair lays, or how a certain cut can compliment the shape of their head best, and damn is it reassuring. Hes a man of craft, thats for sure.

Great shop with friendly people that know what theyre doing. My first time in I booked a regular cut versus a specialty, and didnt end up fully satisfied with the outcome. I was able to get back in first thing the next morning for a quick fix-up that looked great. If in the Bucktown/Wicker area, Id highly recommend over the larger chain shops in the area.

This has been the 2nd time with Nick cutting my hair. He is very good at what he does and takes the time and executes the cut I asked for with precision and skill. I def found my new barber and will be coming back. Very nice place, offer you something to drink upon arrival and the inside is very nice and comfortable! Nice hot towel and wash at the end of the cut!

Quick and easy haircuts... Between a supercuts and a high end salon. Very reasonable rates. I got my haircut for $25 and was happy with it. It wasnt an hour long haircut which Ive been through before, so I like being able to get in and out with a good look. There were the same 2 ladies there each time I went so I think one of them is the owner. Always a plus to support small, local businesses!

Setup an appointment for next day. Got there 25 mins early, and only waiting 5 minutes in this cool barbershop. Got a cut and a beard trim, and I couldnt be happier.Pricier than a super cuts / hair cuttery type place, but the value is magnitudes more.Basically, this place is great, and I will return and recommend it to anyone.
