Im amazed that this place exists, tucked between apartments, but its a great find. I trust them with my car completely. Some people complain about price, but in my experience, their prices are completely fair, certainly lower than some mechanics Ive seen. And the quality is very high. A great deal overall, and Phil is the best.

Phil is my go-to person for work on my Lexus for the past 8 years. He is very fair with pricing and has helped me make smart choices on repairs and maintenance for my car. The quality of his work is also solid, I have not had reoccurring in issus with problems he addresses. Highly recommended.

Phillip is a master mechanic! Ive known him and his love for cars since he rebuilt a vintage Porsche in high school. Hes serviced all my vehicles from VW to BMW. Excellent customer service too. Its tough to get an appointment though.

Absolutely wonderful experience with the Foreign Car Hospital! I drive a 1997 Toyota Rav 4. It started acting up the day before I was supposed to move away from Chicago. I called them when they opened on Monday, and even though I was a brand new customer, they fit me in right away. Phil helped me, and he was extremely nice, patient, smart, and took the time to explain everything to me. They rushed to get my car fixed for me, and now it runs great. I got a tune up and a few parts replaced, and they did some manual cleaning of the throttle. The price was very fair. My experience with them was absolutely excellent, and I would recommend them to anyone. I feel like this is one of the best and most honest mechanics Ive heard of!

I took my Prius in needing brake work, replacing the serpentine belt, & also a noise in one of the front wheels witch terned out to be a bearing. I felt the work was done excellently. The price was I guess within reason. All in all I was quite satisfied.

This is an honest and honorable business. I was told by other mechanics before I moved here that I needed a full break job with rotors on all four wheels. I made an appointment with Foreign Car Hospital to get that work done since the other mechanics made it seem dire. After I brought my car in Pat told me I did not need the work and showed me my rotors and break pads. I have never worked with such an honorable mechanic and highly recommend his service!

My car broke down in Chicago the day before I was to drive home to Baltimore. Phil understood my predicament, & even though he was inundated with work he took time to ensure that my car was safe to drive the next morning. He explained the problem and the repair articulately and with respect. The price was extremely fair. If I lived in Chicago, Phil would definitely be my mechanic.
