Ed and his crew are the best in the city. Hands down - not even close. I really wouldnt trust my car with anyone else now.

Ed was a great help fixing our car within our budget and gave us options for different levels, if you will, of fixing the car. All of course being safe and operable, just different levels of cosmetic repair. I love that he didnt judge us for wanting to go with something lower price that wasnt a 100% cosmetic, good as new, fix.(its an old, daily driver, with a fair few City living dings and dents.)He also provided us with a timeline for the fix and delivered well within that time line. Highly recommended. I will use them again.

Nothing short of a great experience here. The mechanic, Ed, was extremely nice and straight-forward. Went in for and oil change and belt replacements. The belts needed to be ordered but he knocked out the oil change in no time and called immediately when the belts came in. Dropped my car off the night before and it was done within a matter of hours. I definitely have found my new mechanic shop!Oh and the woman that took my payment complimented my hair and nails. How much better can it get!?

We have been fixing all of out vehicles at this place for a while now, and you have no idea how happy we are! Ed and his crew is simply amazing at what they do!!!! I had to bring my car in twice this week because Im horrible at not running over sharp objects(3 nails in a week yay me!). They were able to take my car in right away both times, didnt charge me an arm and a leg(it was actually a lot cheaper than I anticipated which was a huge relief!), didnt talk down to me at all like many mechanics elsewhere do, and they also had my car fixed and ready to drive faster than I thought was possible. The gentlemen here are fantastic! The service is quick and so far service my 2012 Malibu had was fairly priced.Tire repairs/replacements, oil changes, diagnostics checks, etc.I very rarely had to wait more than a day to be seen which is great. There is a waiting room or a nice cafe across the street to wait in.Ed, to be specific, has excellent customer service. I am not a car person by any means and he always take a moment to explain everything to me and make recommendations.I appreciate this business immensely and glad I came across it.

My car could not start. Ed got his towing guys to take the car to his auto shop. Gave me the diagnostic input immediately on the phone. Replaced the fuel pump and the filter at a very fair price. Great service. Highly recommended. The place is speckles clean.

This place is amazing! I brought my car in with a few things I was told needed to be done. Ed and his team could’ve just done it and I wouldn’t have questioned but he was totally honest and told me what I actually needed right now, which saved me hundreds of dollars. He also solved the mystery of why the issue with my car even happened in the first place. This is a really attentive and trustworthy shop. They know what they are doing. I got the clutch, struts, and wheel bearings replaced and runs like new. I was visiting from out of town over Easter and had what I thought was a tune up issue. Turned out to be bad lifters. I went to Arya A1 because it was close and had good reviews. Lucky I did! They fit me in and did a fantastic job on a difficult job. It was a fair price and very reasonable given the amount of work involved (basically an engine rebuild).I recommend this shop without any reservation. Only wish they were closer to home so they could be my regular shop.

If I could give this place Infinity stars, I would. Theyre AWESOME SAUCE AND AMAZEBALLS!!!! AAA was going to charge me $900 for a new battery and an alternator which, as it turned out, I didnt even need. I only paid $155 for a new battery. Needless to say, they have a customer for LIFE!!!

I know a lot of trivia, but I dont know anything about cars. Ive always had trepidation that Im being taken advantage of when I go to a mechanic. Not here. This place is literally awesome. Honest, nice and very fairly priced - this is the no-BS zone. They are usually very busy and you will need to call and make an appointment, but they honor your appointment time and have quick turn around times when possible. I had an exhaust problem and they could have taken advantage of me and listed everything in the exhaust ad nauseum. Nope! Ed told me parts and labor - $170 - and it is guaranteed for a year. I needed another repair that another mechanic had given me the run-around on and Ed quoted me half the price without even knowing the competitors price. This is my go-to mechanic now. You wont be disappointed.

I had a great experience at Arya A1 Auto Repair. My AC broke as I was driving cross country and needed a same day repair. Ed was able to schedule for the next morning at 8:30 AM. Ed was very thorough describing his diagnostic service and called me in an less than an hour to to tell me my compressor had blown. Ed quoted me a fair price and time, furthermore he was done earlier than his quoted time! Ed also patched an air intake hose free of charge. If Im ever in Chicago and need car repairs my car will definitely be going to Ed. I would absolutely recommend this shop for quality auto repairs!

These guys are amazing! Had the catalytic converter stolen off of my vehicle. They offered some options, gave an honest assessment of the cost, and squeezed me in on a busy day so that I wouldnt have to pay for a cab fare out to the suburbs. Overall, excellent service. This is the only place my boyfriend trusts after jiffylube kept breaking his car and his dealership overcharged for everything. I dont know if Ed is the owner but hes extremely nice, helpful, and informative. He doesnt pressure you into getting things you dont need and lets you know before making any repairs.

Awesome service. Me and my wife were visiting from the suburbs and my car wouldn’t start on our way back home. Got a tow truck to take it to Arya 1 on a whim. Ed greeted us and assured us he was going to get us home. He even recommended some places to stop by in the area to keep ourselves occupied in the meantime. He had a new starter installed in my car within 2 hours right before they closed on a Saturday . Me and my wife were super grateful since they were closed the following day and we were all but certain we would have to take the red Line to the Metra and back home only to come back up on Monday when they reopened.Ed was awesome and I can’t say more about the quality service they provided to some out of towners who felt hopeless and stranded. Would recommend them without hesitation.

Great service, he was able to save some money with some simple repairs, then when we had our brakes done I felt more comfortable with them. The rate for that job was a little higher but it evens out in the end.

Ed is amazing. My friend recommended this place and I couldnt be happier about the service. They helped me get my car to pass the emissions test at the lowest cost possible. Whenever I asked to see the parts they removed from my car, they pulled them out, showed me where the wear and tear was, explained why it happened and how to prevent it in the future with no shame or judgement, which Ive experienced at other shops. On my bigger repairs (my car was in the process of a long operatic death) they noticed my oil needed to be changed and they just did it for free. This place has been an absolute Godsend. I brought my car in after getting into a minor fender bender that required more work than it seemed. It took me 10 days after bringing the car in to even get any word from my insurance about getting started on the car, and I couldnt afford the repairs on my own so I needed my insurance for the deducible. Even after all the photos and such that my insurance requested, they still kept my car there, even when they just as easily could have passed it to another shop for all the trouble. They dealt with the insurance absurdities and are starting the work with a one week turn-around time, much faster than I could have hoped for with all the damage that needs to be fixed. Ed was so understanding about my situation, I couldnt be happier with the service! Love them!
