The plane ride is very comfortable. The snacks awesome.The pilot courteous.Customer service over the phone great.What was why not five stars is the flight attendant.I ask for flight wings she never got back to me this was on the way there and back.Neither flight attendants and if they didnt have them atleast say something. The ride was smooth.Its tge only way to fly.
Southwest Airlines does a fantastic job, we are fly during the Christmas Holidays this year and Southwest Airlines employees are so nice even though they are having to work during this time to get us to our destination. The planes have been so clean that it really give you the feeling that Southwest really cares. Go job Southwest!

We fly southwest airlines quite often. We just flew in from Jamaica direct to Chicago. The worst flight attendants ever. They did not enforce the mask rules. When my husband had enough and said something to the passengers across from us because they did not wear their masks the entire flight. The flight attendant jumped up from the book she had been reading the entire flight and looked at me and asked if I wanted to be detained at the airport. I had only said excuse me to the passenger who threatened my husband with bodily harm. The other flight attendant up front watched a movie the entire flight and never moved. Are the mask wearing a rule or a suggestion. I am sick and tired of nasty people who think they can get away with it. Disgraceful

They did not disinfect the plane from Chicago to Texas I caught Covid. I understand that the plane was already late but they cannot disregard CDC guidelines just because the plane was already running late you still have to take the time to disinfect so people like me do not catch Covid I am fully vaccinated thank God
From take off to landing safely, my flight was great. I met a Ms. Lorie & my seat mate was handsome.
As I said in my Southwest Airlines review regarding the Memphis airport, we were pleased with all of our flights on this airline as first time passengers to Southwest. With a tailwind headed back to Bradley Airport in Connecticut, we arrived about ten minutes ahead of time and had a smooth flight all the way there. The Chicago Midway International Airport had a busy atmosphere with a lot of places for people on layovers to go. We chose to eat at The Hubbard Inn which was a bar and eatery right in the middle of the main corridor of the terminal. (see my review)

Best airline on a budget
I LUV Southwest Airlines. I live in Nashville and am exceedingly fortunate they can be my go-to airline. Never rated though till today when my work day finished early and they got me out at noon rather than 7 pm and NO FEES. Disclaimer I am an A Lister but still, the no fee no hassle approach they take is a game changer and I dont care if other airlines are forced into looking into it, Southwest is eating their lunch. I am glad to be part of the reason. Look at the expansion into Hawaii for instance. Airlines around the world deliver amazing service compared to US based airlines since protected by the government. Southwest by far takes the least advantage of this and much appreciated. Keep up the good work and educated consumers do take notice. Its a choice.

Called me in for an job interview just as a form of harassment and exclusion. the reason this mentally ill customer does not fly. they want your business but not your services. promotes homelessness and exclusion and unemployment

Southwest was wonderful when I was trying to get home from Florida before Hurricane Dorian. Every time I rebooked my flight there was no charge. I like the no frills to keep the prices down. I like their boarding process. I love that you can check two bags. Everyone is friendly and accommodating.
Southwest is probably one of the best airlines that has a way of getting people to check in as early as possible to get the best seat without paying. Their flights from Midway are very comfortable. Staff doesnt waste time during boarding time and will get everyone seated in no time. And you will be up in the air in no time. I feel like other arlines should hire southwest employees to fix and improve their own operations to match southwest customer satisfaction.
This was my first time on a plane..They treated me so wonderful from boarding until I got to my destination in Florida..I will be returning back home to Chicago and I know its going to be a wonderful experience flying back on the plane with Southwest;Looking forward to it..Thanks Southwest..
Very clean orderly place usually you can make it from front door to your flight in 40 minutes.
Can not believe Southwest has not demanded that Midway Airport (Chicago) improve their dining options. They have done so well in other airports (Denver C Terminal) and Baltimore. Will look at other airlines...healthy dining is IMPORTANT in my travel choices.

Not sure if I will return to use this airline ; no communication and very late boarding due to understaff . My flight was to start boarding at 7:20am and take off at 7:50am . Its currently 7:50am and we are just to start boarding .
I love southwest the staff, the prices of tickets and the fact that we get to travel with 2bags each for free. Just dont like these General tickets I myself prefer arranged seating its easier to find a seat. It was me and my husbands anniversary and our 1st trip out of town and we couldnt even sit together😧
The ride was great from Chicago to Houston .from Houston to Harlingen was over growled I was really scared person sitting by me he took off his mask. Flight attendant didnt see it n I was just upset.one Male Flight attendant was very unprofessional. Instead of trying to get my attention the professionally instead he sang a towel he had to try to get my attention lol I told him Im not a Fly my dear.. CRAZY
This time I give them a 4 star because someone misplaced 1out of 3 bags that should never been lost in St Louis on Friday morning.The final destination was Tulsa OK. They shot down St louis airport because of the snow & rerouted by phoenix 1 bag in a rush & delivery was made on Saturday by 12:15AM. Before my next trip at 6:45AM Other wise it could have been a 5 🌟 rating.
Southwest always boarded 15 min prior to dept...now with social distancing its 30 minutes. No problem. In my case I showed up 38 minutes prior to boarding and the a’s were done. Unacceptable why do we pay more for boarding position if southwest boards early?Southwest has no control over preboarders they will let cross country track team preboard if they say they need to preboard. 30 preboarders on my last flight - 4 in chairs. Don’t waste your money on business select just pay cheapest ask for preboard and you board first.
Hate the troops
A warning for all Southwest passengers.On my most recent flight from NY-Chicago my bag was lost by the airline. When my bag was returned it was missing:Macbook ProChargeriPhone charger (because why not I suppose)The airline then said they can file a courtesy report but wont cover electronics.The experience was only made worse by my service at baggage claim. Please dont make the same mistake I did.
Megan in the Chicago midway call center is the absolute best customer service rep I have ever worked with. She was efficient, personable and helped me through my problem. Southwest is without a doubt the best airline. Thank you Megan!

Recently flew Southwest Friday, February 14 flight 1957 had one of the best flight attendants ever her first name was Sharon could not believe her professionalism and dedication with employees like her Southwest has nothing to worry about
It’s Christmas Eve and I get notified via text (while I was sleeping) that my flight was cancelled. This is literally the second time they’ve pulled this stunt. I’m done with Southwest, there are too many other options these days.
My family and I took a flight from Midway to Mexico City. I have mixed feelings about this airline, so I will share my experience for you to decide.POSITIVESThe staff was friendly and professional. The baggage policy is awesome. They give complimentary small snacks and soft drinks. We took connecting flights and all were on time. The boarding process was cool because we got there early and we were able to sit together as a family.NEGATIVESThey really butchered our luggage. Every single piece of our luggage looked like it went through some kind of trauma. One had zippered pockets and they were completely torn. The long handle for another piece of luggage was bent. They must throw your luggage around because when we opened our suitcase at the hotel, two bottles had burst open. Also, there are no nonstop flights from Chicago to Mexico City, so we had to take round trip connecting flights. Its quite the hassle coming back to the US because you have to get your luggage, go through customs, and go through TSA again when you already feel like youre in a time crunch. Not to mention that it took longer to get to our destinations so, by the time we did get there, we were starving because we had only gotten peanuts on the flight.All in all, would I fly Southwest again? For now, its a maybe.
This review is for midway southwest gate B17 for flight 3288. Gate agent would note let me help my 90 year-old mother to pre board. The flight was only half full. This was my fourth flight in a week helping my mother board with no issues at other airports. Gate agent had power trip is my conclusion.

Omg the head flight attendant Myeisha (sp?) is really funny! Though we are pretty pleasant travelers, she really helped to make stressful traveling fun. She deserves recognition. Purple cat eye glasses with matching lipstick. And apparently SWA earrings?? BWI to midway, 7 am departure.
Planes are continuously late. I have had more cancelled flights than before. Prices jump around too much. I used to love SWA but the past few years they have gone down hill fast. Look elsewhere.

WORST AIRLINE EVER!!! Every time I relent and travel on SW, I am disappointed. Gate agent found it necessary to separate me and my spouse at boarding even though we 1) purchased the tickets together (same reservation), and 2) checked in together. Really you have to make a long, miserable day worse?Then the pilot “grounded” the flight attendants due to turbulence-no such thing! Please teach your pilots about customer service.
The morning of my flight I opened the box for my brand new suitcases I just received as a birthday gift. After my flight that evening the bag I checked was completely trashed. It looked as though it had been dragged across the concrete for a mile behind a baggage truck. Since my flight arrived at 1am, and I was tired and also figured customer service was not open at that time, I decided to wait until the next morning to call Southwest and deal with my damaged luggage. Upon calling I was told you need to bring your bag to be inspected within 4 hours of your flight (for me 1am-5am) in order to receive a refund for your damaged luggage. I asked to speak with a manager, but the woman on the phone would not let me speak with anyone else. This is an unacceptable way to treat customers as well as an incredibly unfair policy for damaged luggage. I am not sure how many people daily call and lie about damaged luggage, however I do not believe it is enough to cheat honest customers out of their money. I will not be flying Southwest again. I used to be a rapids rewards member before the points lost value. I use southwest often and also use it frequently for family. They have become unreliable like Air Canada cancelling flights for unclear reasons. They have no partnerships with other airlines so if you need to travel on the same day the onus is on you to figure it out if they have no available flights. My most recent experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and I’m going to start paying more money for more reliable airlines. Good bye southwest. You used to be my favorite airline.
I spent 24 hours at the airport because they delayed the flight 6 times before officially cancelling it due to the weather. Then at 3:30am I was 5 people away before being served by an agent then they clocked out. I was served by a different agent at 4:30. I was told i would be leaving at 5:25pm to Baltimore to get to ft. Lauderdale. I waited then at 5pm they said Im supposed to get on a 6:45 flight to nashville then to ft. Lauderdale. No meal or hotel vouchers given. Im a broke college kid that hasnt seen her family in a year. I just want to go home!
Lest me stranded 300mile from my destination Southwest Airlines 3rd FAILE this year,and smell of chicago terminals, second time this year I have been stranded in this air port they tell me 48 hr befor I can get my original destination. It will now cost me for this trip,
Quick easy check in
If I could give this review zero stars I would. I came through Midway Airport from Vegas on Southwest Airlines which I almost never do, the flights back and forth from Chicago to Las Vegas and vice versa were bumpy and downright uncomfortable. Plus when I came back to Chicago my large luggage bag was severely damaged and is totally unusable, I took this bag with me from Chicago to Boston (x2), to Kansas City and to Los Angeles on American Airlines without any problems or damage whatsoever. The first time I flew round trip on Southwest and now I have to go out and buy another bag, I recommend another airline altogether.
Always fly southwest only one that 2 bags are free and the prices are reasonable Staff has always been professional and friendly

Thanks for letting my son check out the front with the pilot. He really wouldnt STOP talking about it. The memory though for him meant alot to me, hes special needs and it takes alot to get him into anything thats not his super hobby. He now builds planes and we had to get him the lego city airport set. We always fly southwest and this is just one of the reasons why. Im also really glad i packed crayons for my husband. 😂🤭

Kinda looks like Robin Wright??), on flight #1940 Tuesday, December 19th, 2017 from MDW to OAK. She was so kind, warm and friendly. She MADE our flight. She definitely went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. Southwest, I hope you’re taking care of people like her. She makes people like my husband and I want to come back and fly with you! I just wanted to say thank you guys. My boyfriend was up for 24 hours straight getting pushed back for American Airlines and he ended up buying a ticket with you guys instead because they weren’t getting him in a flight. He went from Washington to you guys and fell asleep while waiting for his flight to San Diego. You guys cared enough to wake him up to check if he was on that flight 8:45 to San Diego and thanks to you guys he didn’t miss his flight. Southwest all the way, we willl go through you guys from now on. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
