Dont plan to spend time in the lounge if you are flying Austrian business class. You are going to spend this time at the counter being humiliated by the Austrian airlines employee.1) Airline Lost my ticket, so print all receipts and confirmations as the disappear from the their site. They will tell you that you have never paid for it.2) The guy at the counter printed me an economy stand-by ticket and send me off. I had to confront him that it was not a business class ticket and I paid for business class3) The guy at the counter was short with me and offered no apologies. He said he does not have a record of it.4) Then he said that I exceed my baggage allowance.5) When I told that it meets business class limits, he told me that I dont have business class6) He sent me off to another employee where is had to stand in line for 30 minutes7) It took them ONE HOUR to get the ticket I paid for.No apologies were offered in the end. Manager seemed to be ok with the whole situation.

Extremely poor service, website is saying free rebooking, all phone calls are answered in Ukraine with poor language skills, waiting time close to one hour on the phone, Each Ukrainian agent wants different sun of money for rebooking

Checked in online, my window seat was reserved and confirmed, only to find out it was changed to aisle right before boarding.I’m a woman traveling alone on a very long flight and wanted some privacy with a window seat. Seems nowadays they go extra mile to avoid any discrimination of minorities, but don’t care to respect women anymore.Can you believe a comment the staff representative made to her supervisor, explaining why she changed my seat? By the way she was grinning entire conversation, as this all was a joke! Apparently there was a nice gentlemen who asked her for it, so she gave away my online confirmed seat without giving it any consideration or asking my agreement for it as other airlines do.Thank you Austrian Airline for making me feeling so miserable and disrespected by your staff. I’m a global traveler, but I’ll make sure to avoid flying your airlines in the future.

Plane is good, fairly standard and nothing special. Customer service can be very rude though. We asked the ticket agent at the bag-check counter if we could be seated together. Without even looking at our flight, she told us it was completely full and we would have to ask people on the plane to switch seats but it really wasnt a big deal. We got to the gate and asked that agent to change seats...and she did it without a problem. On the plane, we observed many, many open seats and two seats next to each other in quite a few cases.
For the second time in row.. the worst check-in service experience I ever had, the worst in time management always have a delay. Maybe I should stop give it a try.
Front desk check service was pretty bad. I flew in on a small plane with a carry on, they then made me check it for my international flight because of size. 90k flown air miles this year on star alliance flights and this is the first time I have had this issue with this bag. Pretty annoying and a huge inconvenience. Also every time I tried booking a flight through United it got turned back because Austrian couldnt confirm. Then I booked it on Austrian website and it went through. Also very frustrating since the flight was available but there seems to be an issue how their system works with Uniteds
Today, February 03,2020 the customer service manager at O’Hare airport ( Austrian Airlines) was very rude, she would NOT show he ID and when I told her I’ll make sure I’ll never fly Austrian Airlines again, she’s said ok, do what you have to do .👎 Austrian Airlines
Horrible. Companies like this are trash. They do not care about their passenger concerns and their customer services attitude is just rock bottom. I will never fly with them again!
