I was excited when Dream Nails and Spa opened in 2020 because its close to where I live. I visited 3-4 times and had good experiences each time (the location is clean, decor is nice and the attn to detail was appreciated). I went a couple of days ago and waited 45 minutes before leaving without service. There were two customers getting pedicures when I arrived and I sat and watched as the employees laughed and talked with them (which is fine) but my problem was that no one said anything to me except to check in on their iPad. I would have appreciated an employee giving me an update on how long it would, suggested making an appointment to come back - really anything. There were other employees there that were milling around doing misc tasks and none of them spoke to me either. I really wanted to continue to support the business because I know they opened right at the start of the pandemic and were having trouble getting the word out about the business opening. I even posted on the Next Door app recommending them after my first visit which I now regret.

The first time I went I waited well over two hours to receive a decent pedicure except I felt disappointed when when I was directed to use an ATM that charged $3 surcharge because their machine was down (or so the hand written sign stated). Weeks later I returned because I figured maybe they had an off day... this time another tech performed my pedicure and he was good until it came time for polishing my nails. I respected the fact that he didnt want to botch up my nails so he called over his pregnant co-worker to complete the rest. In short, she had such a bad attitude, was very sloppy and curt when I pointed out how she missed certain areas of my nails (keep in mind, I was very pleasant to her). The male tech already gave me the price before his attempt to polish but then she kept speaking in her native tongue before upcharging the price. Then, again, I was told that their machine is down and for me to use THEIR ATM to pay the bill. Im convinced this is a ploy to have their customers use their ATM because they own it as well. Thats truly an easy way to squeeze more money out of people but performing at a mediocre level. I will not be returning to this establishment EVER! FYI...speaking in your native tongue is actually not professional; it gives the impression that youre talking about your customers and it does not produce a welcoming vibe as a patron. The nail polish started chipping within 48 hours so I had to get it redone. Honestly, it wouldnt be fair for me to say redone... I went over to Valette Nail Lounge where they actually performed the service beyond my expectations and I didnt have to wait hours for poor treatment. The most important part... they speak ONLY English in their establishment and their service was 5 Star quality. I actually felt comfortable spending over $100 there.

Definitely recommend. Almond shape is not always executed correct but my lady took he time with shaping. The fall design I wanted she did was perfect.

I randomly came into the nail salon and was greeted pleasantly. David serviced me and was really personable and accommodating. Im really pleased with the care that he gave while servicing me . This place is extremely clean and they still want you wear mask which I appreciate. Dream Nails Spa definitely practices cleanliness and hygiene. I recommend highly

The services I typically get here are dip powder manicure, full set, gel pedicure, eyelashes extensions as well. Very clean and professional! My eyelashes last up to a month even sometimes a month and a 1/2. Takes time as well as pays attention to detail on my nails! 10/10 would recommend for beauty services!

Some girlfriends and I went in to get our nails done, and they greeted us very rudely as soon as we entered. It was very uncomfortable especially as we are three young Black women. We will not be returning.

I went there for a full set. The lady who did my nails cut all my nails uneven. I told her that I wanted my nails dark blue but she said they didn’t have a dark blue. They are limited on gel colors and powders. I was not happy with my nails. I asked if they could fix it another day since it was late, that’s when I experienced the worst treatment by nail salons. They acted as though I couldn’t pay because of my color....they said try would not fix it at all. I paid and left.......Please beware of this place my African queens......it’s Black history month, spend your money where you would get good service and not be transported to 1950’s. We go to nail salons to be pampered and have a relaxing experience not to be discriminated and treated like we are not deserving of being pampered.

I was looking for a nail salon to get a birthday mani. Dream nails reached out and told me to call for an appt but when I called I was told they werent taking appts for the weekend. I commented on the post and before I knew it the salon called me back and offered to squeeze me in. I went in and Ms Lynn did an amazing job on my nails and she took her time to make sure I had perfect nails for my birthday. Highly recommend! Very clean classy establishment. Fav nail salon so far. These ladies take their time with you, are clean with their work and space. The space is also calm, relaxing, beautiful flower wall decor and again, clean!I did my nails a beautiful “fancy princess.”A beautiful soft shimmery purple.

Needed to find a new salon after a bad experience at my old one. Stopped in today, salon was very clean, nicely decorated. David was amazing, I told him about the horror story of experience I went through a few months ago and he took the time to explain what he was doing an assured me it would be much better this time around. My nails came out perfect, he was quick and professional. I felt welcome which I feel is hard to find as nail salons. I will definitely be going back.

Brought my boyfriend in for his first ever pedicure and he was so impressed! It was so nice and clean and David really made it feel like a wonderful experience. They also are closely following the covid-19 measures and made us feel like we were in a good environment. I got gel on my toes and they always last so long when he does them. Will be returning again soon. Also the place looks super modern and is very up to date!

Whenever I’m in Virginia not modeling in a UFC ring or modeling on the cover of several magazines I always stop by dream nails in Greenbrier right off of Volvo Parkway it is beautifully decorated it has upbeat modern Decour, the friendliest, most professional staff I have ever experienced . They have so much to choose from as far as colors designs if you ask them to freehand something for you they always have something creative and beautiful. They are one of the very few salons that offer the cat I design on nails which is very complex and requires magnets. They have a full list of pedicures available and they actually offer the CBD pedicure for those of you that have pain in your legs. They are very knowledgeable and what they are doing. They make you feel relaxed and at home so when you are in Chesapeake Virginia make sure you stop by dream nails relax and a pedicure chair sip some wine make sure you say hi to Lee the owner she is one of the friendliest people I have ever met and she always gets my nails perfect and David is absolutely fabulous and doing pedicures Lynn is probably one of the most experienced tax I have ever met just everyone in there is amazing and they are so reasonably priced it’s crazy but definitely one of the best nail salons I’ve been to in all of my travels in this countryA+ service all around!!!

Very clean, Social distancing friendly, you have a consent and waiver to sign upon entering the establishment. You must wash hands before sitting. CASH ONLY for services. David performed my manicure. He was friendly, energetic, and knowledgeable as to what I wanted. He gave me tips on how to maintain the length of my manicure and took his time with me. He was in no rush though other women were coming in. I would totally reccomend this place. They are fairly new as they opened in January and were closed due to covid 19 shut down. They have just re opened.

I went to get a pedicure for the first time. And I was blessed enough to be serviced by the nail tech named David. He was really nice and professional. I thought that the pedicure was going to hurt, but, he was so smooth that I ended up falling asleep.I’d go back.

My manicure was done by the daughter. She rushed through my manicure and was more interested in her phone that she couldn’t provide quality service which resulted in me getting a terrible manicure. They don’t use new filers or buffers. I saw one of the nail cutters at a station with rust on it. I was hoping to become a regular at this place since it’s so close to home. But lesson learned I’ll make the trip to my regular spot from now one.
