I hadnt been to get my nails and toes done since the pandemic..I went to The Nail bar I didnt have to wait.. I was asked to pick out a color, David came and asked me to have a seat.. I drank two complimentary cups of wine...I got the dipping dots ..Brown sugar for my choice color and gel nails for my toes the same color.Thanks David for a good job.seeya in a month

So disappointed with the service, I had to wait 45 minutes before anyone even came by. They could have told me that there was a wait and I would have not wasted my time. After 45 minutes I got up to walk away and they said please wait for a few more minutes. During this period I saw multiple customers get up and leave. If they are short staffed they should convey that the wait time is long. This is where they failed and hence end up with frustrated customers like me. I finally ended up have an express service due to the time constraints. Of course that showed in the quality of work too. I decided to come back the next day to get it fixed....I had called ahead and they said i would be taken in. Wasted another 45 minutes and ended up walking out. I will have to go to another nail salon to fix this mess. They over promised and under delivered....not good for the long term success of the business. Dont set expectations for the customer and leave them disappointed.

With no appointment they were happy to take all five girls in at one time. Very professional friendly and cordial did an excellent job. Made all five happy at the same time. Unlike blue nails which didn’t have time for us this time, even though they didn’t do a good job the first time we tried to give them another chance. From now on we will use the nail bar and nothing else.

We relocated from AtlantaGa to Chattanooga Tennessee region.Pass this shop all the time while visited Chattanooga.Now that We are here We where seeking a Trustworthy and Honest Nail Shop. We Failed!!This Shop Workmanship and skill are not on par with other shops weve visited and used. My Wife got her nails last Sunday 6/20/2021 the nails are peeling and falling apart and separated. Her hand didnt look nice for my proposal.I did propose because of the time! But, She was very dissatisfied and disappointed ☹️ in the service!! Sometimes You gotta believe some Businesses are about Money and not Quality of Their Reputation to provide a Great service and Honesty!! 😳 See for Yourself! 😔😔

So I will preface this review with the fact that I did not have an appointment and I get my nails done maybe once every several years (I work with my hands and it is pointless; the paint never lasts) so Im not super knowledgeable about nail salons. However, my husband and I had a special date and I decided to splurge. I asked for a manicure and a gel polish for my very short nails, but I did not receive what I consider a manicure; no cuticle trim, no shaping, no hand massage and also no gel polish. Instead, I received a very rushed dip job. My nails look ridiculous. The dip is so thick it looks unnatural. Like blobs of play doh on the end of my fingers and the white is discolored after less than a day. When the nail tech asked if I liked it, I said no that it was too thick and looked wrong. She said it is because of my short nails. Also, while receiving this service there was a disgruntled customer inside yelling and arguing with various employees about being overcharged literally the entire time I was there. Very relaxing.. Aaaaaand this cost me $43 plus tip. The nail tech was nice and I was seated quickly, but those are the only positives I can come up with for my experience.

I got a full dip manicure a week ago and had two nails pop off so I went to get them fixed and I was rushed the lady did not do a good job on my nails they are uneven and she put me get me in and got me out it was awful

Me and my friend went and got our nails done she got a fill and i got a full set hers is the blue and mine is the green hers were so thin that on the first day hers broke mine were really thic and clumpy and not the right shape i wanted and for a total it was 107 dollars

I literally went here 4 days ago and my nails were pretty but 2 of them have popped off!! this is ridiculous.

I took my daughters here for acrylics. My youngest daughter was treated very rudely by an older nail tech when she told him to shorten the acrylics he became rough and buffed her nails below the nail bed taking off skin and causing her pain before and after the acrylics were applied. The second daughter asked for a design on her nails the polished was messy and bubbles up and they told my daughter that she messed them up. They did repaint the second daughter’s nails a solid color to cover the design which caused us to be a the salon for a very long time. I would not recommend this place.

If I could give 0 stars, i most definitely would!!! They rush with nails, also have false advertisements in color. They over price everything and they are very rude. Would not recommend at all and I WILL NOT BE BACK. very horrible customer service.

I got my nails done on a Friday and 2 of my nails popped of that Sunday and 3 more the following week. I should’ve known then by the way she was filling my nails before she even put acrylic on them. They had a lady who does pedicures to do my nails and she was horrible my nails were uneven and they did not look like the coffin shape at all. It’s crazy because they weren’t even that busy to begin with, so I have no idea why she did my nails. I didn’t even want to bother going back because how bad my nails were and I definitely will bring my service else where.

Got 70 dollar gel acrylic nails done yesterday and the lady was very rough and hurt my nails when she was fileing them down to the point that my finger around the nail is swollen and hurts.

I was visiting Chattanooga for the weekend and stopped in for a pedi and to have my lashes done. I had a special request and Michael did an excellent job rendering the specific design that I asked for. Tracy did my lashes and was so kind and friendly throughout. She did a great job. I’ll definitely stop here again whenever I visit the area.

I called and requested two kids pedicures they said ok and when we got there we had to wait 30 minutes to be seen then the kids pedicure chairs were broken. Cleanliness could have been better. Not a relaxing experience.

Was there about a week ago.. I asked where myNail tech was? They said he was on vacation.. so I sat down with tony.. he proceeded to tell me that my nail tech Nathan was no longer working there.. I was aggravated that they lied to me just to keep my business.. then when I’m done with my nails they charged me 100 for Mediocre nails!! Who in the world do y’all think y’all are? Nail techs to the stars?? Uh I think not!! Never going back again!! My 3 girls won’t be either!!

Went to get a pedicure. I walked in, no one told me I needed a mask. When I sat down in the pedicure chair the lady told me I needed a mask “ because there was no vaccine.” After taking the mask, she then told me it’d be $1. I sat there for 20+ minutes in the pedicure chair waiting on my turn, and they told me I couldn’t have water in my bowl until it was my turn, even though I wanted water to soak. My husband paid for a pedicure with a hot towel treatment, and didn’t get the hot towels. When he mentioned he didn’t get it they said the other lady already wrote the ticket, it couldn’t be re wrote and only gave us $5 off the next service. Which won’t be any good because I’m not coming back.

First time i went here they were good but just went back today with my sister in law. Our nails look like blobs sitting on top if the nail and they were such in a rush and she even got a colors she didn’t ask for. Maybe if they would slow down a bit and take there time painting the nails. They were even rushing my gel nails under the light. I think its time to find a new place.

First time going and I’m VERY DISAPPOINTED. it’s NOT worth the money . When I went to get my pedicure done Michael was okay at first but then he seemed annoyed and he just wanted to get it over with . Kept looking at the watch and rushed it . Very disappointed. He told me a couple of times to make sure I paid and etc . After that I was sitting in the area to get my nails done . The area I was in WAS DIRTY. I looked around the other ones were clean (to what I could see) . The guy was nice but he has to keep getting up to answer the phone or greet people at the door (little annoying ) . Then he was about to paint my nail wrong so I used to my other hand to show him the color that needed to go on my thumb and I got nail polish on my hand and he didn’t really clean it off .

I got to Celine to get my eyelashes. I promise you will not leave there disappointed. She is amazing. I always walk out feeling like a new person. If you need your eyelashes done check her out asap. Make that appointment .

I had GEL nails done and before I even needed a fill in they started popping off like cheap dollar store nails. 2 other girls came in for repairs while mine were being done. Should have known then but they had already started. Never going back!

The best place to get your nails done! I’ve been trying different places around Chattanooga since I moved here and finally found the keeper! I had my nails done 7 days (full set/dip powder) and they look as good as they did the day I got them. I’m rough on my hands so that says a lot! Ask for Nick!! He went above and beyond.

I asked for a mini French tip and Celine (i think that is who saw me) finished my polish up very quickly and like she was in a rush. I was honestly impressed until I took a good look at my nails and realized how uneven and messy they were. A bit of a disappointment as I had heard so many good things but they seemed very busy.

I came in for a new full set and now, the next day Im back WAITING again!!! To get nails fixed Jason is fast but his work aint proper. I got $65 gel extensions and they were are lumpy and uneven. Sat for 3 hours, and the lady who started had another client come in and she pawned me off to a different technician. I had them a week and one snapped in half and the rest of the nail just popped off. I tried to correct the lady and she just ignored me when i asked her to shape them better. I feel bad wasting my money there. I will spend the $10 extra bucks and go to Chi downtown, theirs lasted almost 2 months and I still could have gone longer!

I was going here for months and never had a problem, but the last two times i went i had Daniel do my nails, and they were not what I asked for, he was rushing me and made them look bad and overall did not have a good experience. I really liked this place but i don’t like to feel rushed or rude to because I am not moving fast enough. It was rude and unprofessional and he didn’t even do the design i asked for.

So me and my sister went and got our nails done yesterday july 15 2021 and i got blue she got green not even a hour later i was picking my sister up and my thumb nail broke i got a fill she got a full mine were really thin and hers were not the right shape she said coffin and it looks like square the first time i went a lady did mine and they were really good then this older dude did mine this time and was weird and made me feel uncomfortable and she dont like the shape!!

I been going to the nail bar about 4 months what I learned is by trial and error make sure that your nail tech understands your needs and services just dont sit with the first available if you do not have an appt. If you dont care then it is what it is. I am very very picky about how I like my nails to look, l tried Tony hes good but does not do designs that I wanted, so I moved on, next one did not speak English, not going to work either, I did watch others I got my go to tech her name is Hannah she is bom!! She took pictures of her work on my hands and lasts mostly 3 wks thats a good tech she listens to your needs and delivers. Yes it costs me around 100 but I get alot so I dont mind paying it. I also get my eyebrows waxed I forgot the 2 females names 1 is short the other is kinda tall they both are also good with brows...

Went here for the first time yesterday with a coworker for a girls trip. first off host needs an attitude adjustment. she acted like she hated her job and was miserable. My nails like fine until the paint job was done. Its huge they have lots of staff and space but do not give you time to dry your nails bc its like a rotator that they want you to get up quick to move onto the next person! not for me! I will go back to my normal shop where I know it will be done right the first time! oh and they also charge an extra $5 for no reason!

Went in on a Saturday and have had a nail break every other day. Went back the first time and they fixed it but the person fixed it said “what happened? Did you get into a fight!” Very rude and unprofessional. I am not a boxer or underground street fighter. The nails bent and then broke right at the tip. I think they did that because the nail tech did not make sure that my nails acrylic was dry before he went and continued to paint them. They were all kinds of different lengths which I didn’t mind because I don’t necessarily like being very uniform however that is not the way they are supposed to be. I typically only get my nails done by the owner when I go into an establishment and so this is the result of not doing so here. If you choose to go here be prepared to throw away money...Now the pedicure was on point and I will vouch for that

Went for a much needed pedicure today (my first since Covid), and it was soo wonderful. The place is very clean and uses a fresh plastic liner on the basin each time. Danny was very thorough and has magic hands! Will be returning again in the future.

I wanted a regular polish manicure, but received a polish only, no manicure. And it looked awful. Many of my nails were bubbly. The tech filed my nails inconsistently (some round, some square) and didnt even bother asking about my preferred nail shape. She also used an extremely coarse file that was very uncomfortable when she filed the sides. She only waited a few moments between coats and drying with a low-tech fan, and the polish appeared old and thick, so naturally, it bubbled like crazy. An employee came by and said he needed me to go ahead and pay, as he was shutting down the computer (half an hour before they closed). But my nails were wet. I told him the tech (who had walked off) told me to sit under the fan for five minutes. Then when I pointed out all the bubbles, and The Grand Nail Tech Council convened, all speaking rapidly, decided it was my fault for not opting for the manicure. Which. I. Had. They then put more clear polish on and fired up a different dryer that sounded like it was about to take flight. I sat there for about 10 minutes, then the tech came and sprayed my nails with something (no explanation) and I sat for another five minutes. She then came over with a paintbrush and slathered oil all over my hands. There were still bubbles. The manager came over and said theyd give me a $3 discount, or I could return tomorrow for the manicure. I paid $5 for nails that look awful, and when I walked out, three nails immediately smudged getting my keys out and getting into my car. NEVER GOING BACK. This was my second experience with Nail Bar. The first was the downtown location two weeks ago, and it was just as disappointing. Not sure if theyre affiliated, but my advice is to stay away from any Nail Bar location in the Chattanooga area. Hamilton location was noticeably dirty, and the lighting was awful. I shouldve just painted my nails at home.

This was the worst experience at a nail salon that I have every had all they want is the money technicians does not take pride in their work that they do. While I was there I had to have my nail polished twice and it still looks HORRIBLE. Tech make accusations that people are not paying, tech and yelling at each other. I seen one young lady had to see three different techs to get what she originally asked for. The one star is because the techs wears a mask.

Not organized at all. Would skip around from one person to another and not getting services done in a timely manner.Yelling at each other and raising voice to customer.Will not go back

Amazing establishment thus far. I’ve been looking for a reliable nail salon, and I think this is it! I found this place because it was about the only one open on Sunday, and I desperately needed my nails done.I had word at 3pm, and walked into the salon at 1:30pm. I was out of the salon by 2pm!! Literally! There was an almost full building when I came, but I was attended to immediately after sitting down.I absolutely LOVE my nails and the establishment. Plus, the price was splendid! A nail salon on Hwy 58 charged me $78, about $20-$30 more, for the same take off and set. The environment of The Nail Bar is beyond beautiful. Very relaxed and chilled.Thank you! I’ll see you all in about 2-3 weeks!

If you are going in for acrylics, ask for Jenny. She’s the best nail tech left at this location. I am giving two stars because I like how my nails turned out, but they are way overpriced, and the man doing my friends nails messed up on them and even cut her fingers a few times.

I have been coming to the Nail Bar since they opened several years ago. Love this place! Ask for James. He does the best, long coffin shaped nails in all of Chattanooga. They also do a great pedicure and have a HUGE selection of colors.

I had a pedicure today from celine and just wow,what a INCREDIBLE job she did, massage and all,I will definitely be back to see her. The gentleman that was working got right up from working on a lady with her nails and went right to sanitizing things and countertops. For the other few workers not so much. But for celine and the younger gentleman I will be back.

Giving two stars because the water didn’t burn my feet when i put them in and it seems clean. The man who did my pedicure and manicure was HORRIBLE. I have an infection in both my toes because he “got my ingrowns out” when i didn’t have them in the first place. He hurt me repeatedly throughout the pedicure. My fingers also look horrible. They’re bumpy, not straight, and overall just look horrible. Seriously could have done a better job myself. Will NOT be going back there.

This used to be my go-to place for a quick manicure, and the staff were friendly, but the last time I went, the nail tech literally just filed my nails and painted them. No cuticle trim no cleaning up around or under my nails no hand treatment even though it is supposed to be included as it says in their pricing pamphlet. I left with a pretty color, but there was still dirt under my fingernails and hangnails around my cuticle. Kind of a bummer that I paid $30 for this. I could’ve just painted my nails at home.
