I shopped several stores for an engagement ring. After walking in Markman’s, I saw how the experience was supposed to be. We were guided, not forced, through the myriad of options and they helped us narrow things down. It was SO easy. I went back later and chose the ring myself and the staff was genuinely excited with me. From day one until the ring came in, they were true professionals and the epitome of service. They call me by name when I walk in the store, and I appreciate that. Markman’s has earned my business by doing things the right way.

I went to Marksmans to shop for a ring for the most special person in my life. I worked with Scott, who was an absolute pleasure. I had a great experience with Scott at the Chattanooga location. I purchased an engagement ring and wedding band for my girlfriend. We went back together to add my wedding band. Scott was very knowledgeable and professional. He provided a lot of time, patience and care during my 2-3 visits there. He did an incredible job of helping me find the perfect ring! Initial interaction was very welcoming and educational. They truly take the time to educate their buyers on the jewelry they are selling. This provides a confidence for the buyer when purchasing anything from Markmans.After initial payment of the jewelry, I felt kind of in the dark on the status of the jewelry. I was initially told it would take between 4-6 weeks. When the end of week 5 rolled around and I still had not heard anything, I gave them a call. They were able to provide some closure on the status of the ring at that time. I had to follow up one more time the following week to see when I could actually pick up the ring and how much the remaining balance would be. I ended up receiving the jewelry toward the end of the 6th week and it met all expectations!I know there is some employee transitioning taking place and that may be the reason for the lack of communication. Overall, the initial interaction was great, I received the jewelry in the timeframe given, and the jewelry met all expectations.

ALL the people at Markman’s went above and beyond to exceed my expectations. I went in with very little knowledge but never felt talked down to. They explained details and educated me with patience and honesty. They gave me information and allowed me to make the final decision. The end result was beautiful. Highly recommend

Everyone seems confused here. I received incorrect and contradictory information that I knew to be wrong. Either incompetent or misleading neither qualities you want when buying jewelry. Look elsewhere if you plan to make an expressive jewelry purchase.

I wish I had money to do repair to my piece but will go there when I do have money. They also gave me the place to get my watch fixed. Just good helpful people making it comfortable to wait for price. I cant think of anywhere I have ever met or helped with people like these! Might be a little expensive but certainly best option for a jeweler. I have facial damage but first place no one reacted to appearance made me even forget about it.

If you are looking for a piece of jewelry, Markmans is the place to go. Jerry was very knowledgeable and explained the four Cs when looking at diamonds. My soon-to-be fiance and I made an appointment before we went. Jerry never showed us something out of budget. He had some diamonds to prior to us coming to show us, and we would have been pleased to walk out with any of them. Jerry also told us that Mr. Markman himself hand picks diamonds all over the world by going to look at them before he brings them back to the store. At the end of the day, we got a beautiful engagement ring that didnt go over budget. With the pandemic going on, they gave us both a mask to wear in the store for everyones safety. We will definitely be going back to Markmans!

They have a master jeweler that works on jewelry and will do custom pieces as well. My husbands wedding band was designed there and is a wonderful piece that has a lot of meaning. My engagement ring has been mangled for quite some time. I wore it throwing pottery and it got hung and banged up which caused an inclusion in the diamond and a bend in my band brackets. I went into several jewelry stores searching for a new band that was unique and wouldn’t break the bank. No one was willing to touch the diamond because of the internal inclusion, nor would they let me choose something other than a”bridal/engagement” band. I was broken-hearted because I obviously wanted to wear my original diamond. I finally went into Markman’s thinking they would for sure turn me away as well. They didn’t and I’m forever grateful. I found a Beverly K fashion piece that I fell in love with, but the emerald it was holding was smaller than my diamond that needed re-set. I checked out different jewelry stores around Chattanooga trying to find a specific stone my fiance wanted for her engagement ring. Markmans is the only store that even bothered to look into finding the stone. It took weeks but they were able to find me several sizes and multiple in some sizes for me to choose from. Im very grateful that they helped me build the ring she wanted. It turned out perfect. This will be my jeweler of choice from here on.
