A wonderful experience after the quarantine. I hadnt been here in a year and a half and its still an exceptional location. I dont get manicures often but the few Ive gotten there are great. Theyre never too thick and hold up well. I almost always get a pedicure and they truly create a wonderful experience. Im so happy this is some place I can regularly go again. I would recommend making an appointment since my appointment was at 2:00 and they already stopped taking walk-ins at that point. There was a bit of a wait but every station was full. Masks are required (at least that was the policy when I went on 07/02/21) regardless of vaccination status. I didnt mind wearing it since this is my preferred nail stop and their shop means their rules. The entire location is very clean, every station is sanitized after a customer leaves, all the equipment is cleaned in front of you in addition to them cleaning it after the customer leaves as I saw firsthand, before you can touch any polishes or color swatches you must wash your hands, the bathroom is impeccable and I absolutely believe the floors are clean nightly. It was clean the last time I went but they have truly stepped up their practices with the changing times.

This is the best place in town!! I have tried different places and I will travel to come here. They take there time with you and make sure that you get the best service. I will recommend this place to anyone!

I dont know who my nail tech was, but she was wonderful & did A GREAT JOB! I got there at almost 7:30 due to a traffic accident & when I walked in the man told me that they would only have time for shellac nails. While taking my dip off she said you dont want the same? I said well I do, but he said you dont have time. She went & got the colors for dip. I was very impressed she went right to my cuticles & trimmed my nails perfectly shorter as I asked. I wished I lived closer than 16 hours away, because I would be requesting her everytime! Thank you for making my night!

Today I went inside with my two girls we used hand sanitizer as soon as we walked inside.no one was at front desk to attend customers. We just hear a lady from inside yell “wash your hands” and I thought she was saying it to someone else since there was two people that walked in at the same time as we did but I did not see them wash their hands before picking a nail polish. We were waiting for service and this woman came up to us and asked if we speak English I replied with “yes we do” and she said you were supposed to wash your hands before touching the nail polish but she said it in a not very nice way. I replied with we used hand sanitizer as well as the other customers did. I wonder if there was a reason or if it just a discrimination situation because I definitely did not see her yelling at the other customer that came in at the same time we did.she just came to us. I will definitely not return to this place or recommend it to friends and family.

Drops down to 3 stars today as the lady was talking on her headpiece throughout the end of our pedicure. Not very appropriate conversation either. All other employees were very respectful and worked very hard. Will not be accepting her as a technician again.

I got the dip powder nails and two days later had to come back to get two of them fixed because they broke. They did fix the nails and did not charge me which they should have done anyway. But now a week and a half later I have three more nails where the dip has cracked. So I either choose to get this Soaked off or pay to get them done again. Huge waste of money. I won’t be going back there again

Hollys Nails is a great place to have your nails done! The employees are friendly and the salon is always clean. Of course some people have skills they specialize in and that applies to the workers too so I understand some of the bad reviews on some platforms. Ive been going there since they first opened and I dont regret any of the money Ive spent (even though I probably should).

I would recommend and have recommended Holly Nails to many family and friends. They are very friendly and professional. They have a very clean facility and their pedicures are by far the best Ive had! I have had the pleasure of dealing with Kelly, Jimmy and Andy and they are all amazing at what they do. Nancy is the best at Acrylic in Charlottesville! I been to a lot of places in town, and she does a outstanding job. Holly’s nails is clean, big, and does a wonderful job. I was always taken promptly for my appointment, and if they ran behind they would let me know. Can’t say many places do that. They have a variety of pedicures to choose from as well. Ive gone to other nail salons before and have come out very disappointed because they would make the acrylic nails thick or have pivets in them. I had my very first experience and the lady, Kelly did my nails. My nails came out beautiful and no pivets and they werent thick and she shaped them to perfection. I will only go to Hollys Nails for my nails. You wont be disappointed 😉

Best nail salon in town! I got offer a complimentary bottle of water along with a list of pedicures when I sat down for my pedicure. My herbal spa pedicure was amazing! They do a great job along with great customer service. I will definitely be back every two weeks! Yay!

Consistently friendly with clean environment and all staff are fantastic! Multiple pedicure offerings that are relaxing and prices are very reasonable. Lasting nail work and happy to do repairs if needed although I have never needed. Parafin wax treatments are amazing! Keep up the great job

Disclaimer: this isnt a fancy schmancy spa-like salon. Its pretty basic and no frills (no mini bottles of water and pedicure menus) which is fine by me, as they get the job done quickly and very well. Im on day 7 of the regular polish manicure I got there and it is still completely intact, which is pretty unheard for me. I will definitely start going here regularly instead of VA Nails.

I have been going to Hollys Nails for about 5 years now. All the nail technicians do a great job! I recommend making an appointment, as they get very busy.

Best Nail Salon in Charlottesville Virginia! They fix my nails that got mess up at a near by salon. I contacted Holly’s through Facebook for my appointment and came in on a Tuesday. My spa pedicure was relaxing and my full set was amazing. The best I ever had done. Trust me I try almost every nail salon in town. Holly’s is clean, friendly and the work last!! If you haven’t try them, I would highly recommend it!

This is a great place to get pamper in Charlottesville. They are really clean and have a variety of pedicures and other services. The staff are so nice and well educated about nails. I love the fact that their tools are autoclaves. The work quality is awesome. My nails always look great when I come here. I also like the fact that they dont tell you 5 mins and make you wait 1 hour. They dont make their appointments wait because they want to take in more clienteles. Very professional! This place is a must try if you havent already! I would make an appointment because they are getting busy. I dont understand why some people think that walking in will guaranteed them a spot...

Can be very good has nice color selection however me and my airstreams went my nails were great and hers were awful it is really either very good or very bad also while getting my nails done had my tech on the phone the whole time on FaceTime. Short wait time

I ALWAYS read the reviews before I go someplace new. A neighbor recommended this place to me, and although it didnt have a review, I went anyways. I am from South Florida; just recently moved to Charlottesville. I have had pink&white acrylics for 9 years now; I had asked for the BEST nail tech... but they gave me a very older woman who had no idea what she was doing. She made me bleed on 4 different fingers, didnt file my nails at, nor did she use the right buffers because my nails were uneven. I left in the middle of my session with her because I was SO frustrated. DO NOT go here for pink and whites
