Best Mani/pedi EVER ( coming from a New Jersey girl that means something!) Kaitlyn ( sorry - I’m not completely sure of her name ) was lovely, professional and really thorough!! Recommend her highly!

Half of the nail techs are not licensed, including the ownership! If having a qualified professional matters when it comes to receiving great nail care go elsewhere. Their sanitation practices are non existent. When receiving a pedicure and the slippers or files are not in packaging you can GUARANTEE it was used on someone else!

I went here to get a pedicure the week I was due to have my baby. I had been looking forward to this for literally months. My husband had never had a pedicure so we decided to go together and “pamper” ourselves just once before the baby arrived. I had a standard pedicure with polish (no gel) and my husband just had a pedicure with no polish. The price was absolutely outrageous- closing in on $100 for two standard pedicures (one without polish). I was just not impressed with the work either. There was barely any leg/foot massage and there was minimal work done on either of our feet to soften or smooth them. I was really counting on this pedicure since I was 41 weeks pregnant and couldn’t even reach my feet anymore. I gave it 3 stars. The polish itself looked pretty but that’s the best I can say 😫

Overpriced! Also, daughters acrylic nail broke was willing to pay they said they had a 2 week guarantee and the lady was rude & rough and burnt her nail & made it shorter then all the rest. Not nice or professional she would have tipped too had the lady not been so rude.

I get my nails done with Queenie Dizon and she is AMAZING. I enjoy my experience at Red Handed Nails. My only recommendation would be to turn the AC on when customers are in. It gets very warm and at times feels uncomfortably hot.

Wonderful experience. I had a bad gel manicure done a few weeks back (he put gel polish on top of my old powder) and came in to get it fixed. The girls here were SO sweet and helpful. They spent so much time and effort getting the old stuff off my nails and didn’t complain once. I’ve never gotten such a perfect dip powder manicure. No joke. Perfect thickness, so shiny, even application, beautiful shape... looks like a regular polish application but it’ll last me for weeks.They also spent time helping me find the perfect match for my toes. Definitely do not go here. Their gel manicures do not last a day, worse than a regular manicure. Go to literally any other nail place possible before coming here.

Fatima did my nails expertly. We had great conversation, I was asked if I wanted water to drink. Employees wore masks and actively sanitized all chairs, equipment, and surfaces. Customers also adhered to the mask mandate.

Ok so the overall atmosphere is nice and the employees are friendly. I paid $96 for a basic pedicure and dip powder manicure with designs. For that price (plus tip) I had high expectations. The pedicure was amazing and one of the best Ive had. The manicure was decent,and I initially really liked my nails. I gave the tech free reign as I wanted something different. My nails can be seen on their Instagram, they were gorgeous. Sadly they only looked that way for 2 days and then began to peel and chip, which for me is unusual for dip powder. I went back to the salon as they guarentee your nails for two weeks if they mess up. They were very agreeable and fixed my nails for free. Again, the nails did not last but a few days. Overall I had the nails done twice in less than 2 weeks, and then because of how bad they looked just got them done somewhere else. $96 for not even 2 weeks.The pictures are a few days after the second visit.

I just received the best manicure of my entire life. Veronica is just so insanely talented! She took so much care and patience and made sure everything was perfect! I received a dip manicure with added tips, and even got some fun foil designs. She knows exactly how to make your nail dreams come true! Customer for life right here.

I got my acrylic nails (done at another salon) taken off and a gel manicure. I was scheduled for 2pm and arrived at 1:55pm. They did not start on my nails until 2:35pm and I did not finish until 3:40pm. The service was okay, the manicure itself was really good, but it took so long and was really pricey at $47. Personally I will go somewhere else next time.

Small and dark inside. Service was less than average. Staff was rude and abrupt and acted as if you were inconvieniencing them by being there.

UPDATE: 3 nails chipped within 2 hours of leaving. My nails never chip.Warning: Long, but worth reading, as this nail salon disappoints on every level. The one star is for the cute exterior that tricked me into giving it a try. First off, the pictures you find online make the interior seem much nicer than it is and it didn’t really look the cleanest, but..passable. No individual liners for the pedi bowls and tools just lying around (I’m used to salons that have everything in individual use wraps)... but I needed a mani/pedi and I was there, so I gave it a go—I upgraded to the hydrating pedi, which I think just means they used lotion? There was absolutely nothing about this pedicure that was different from the standard you’d get anywhere else, however I was told it’d be longer massage, etc. I’d hate to know how short the regular was because by the time one girl has finished wrapping my nails to remove the gel the water was drained from the basin and the nail tech slapped a cold (it was supposed to be hot?) towel on my legs and was ready to polish.After the worst, most lackluster pedicure of my life.. came the worst manicure.. love a double whammy. After scraping the gel off my nails the tech asked if I wanted them cut down and I told her just file... that universally means the tips, but she decided to file MY ENTIRE (once thick and strong) NAIL BED TO PAPER THIN.. (yknow the process used to get the gel off before wrapping it in acetone, she did that, to bare nails) and I know what you’re thinking.. I should have said something and you’re right, but it just felt so awkward I knew they’d be rude about it and tell me it was somehow my fault and I thought.. maybe it’s not going to be that bad........I was wrong. When she told me to go wash I noticed I could bend all my nails when I previously could not. The station (with ripped chairs, no less) was next to the check out counter and 2 ladies standing there saw my look of horror and heard me tell the tech I probably should do gel.. I was horrified and people did notice and the other women (nail techs, not customers) agreed I shouldn’t get gel because she had in fact damaged my nails. They offered to just put on some OPI Nail Envy and send me on my way, but I said I still wanted them painted.. just not.. damaging gel. Sophia (I can’t tell if this was an owner or manager, but she told me next time she’ll make sure I get someone good or she’ll be happy to do the service for me, suuuuure) jumped in to polish my paper.. I mean nails... just polish. My cuticles weren’t trimmed, no massage, nothing.. this is important when we go to the next part—After they had dried I go up to pay and a girl rang me up for a hydrating pedicure (it was awful, but no problem) and a manicure. A mani— what?? In most salons there’s more work associated with a manicure than filing a bed of nails down to tissue and painting them. I suggested a “polish change” may be a more appropriate charge and after a moment of considering, Sophia decided to discount it by $1, because a polish change is the same price as a manicure if you factor in a gel removal. Y’all. I have never.So in case anyone is wondering, once my tissue paper chips, I won’t be taking Sophia up on her offer of making sure I “get someone good” or booking with her directly.. my nails would be better off in my own hands.. and I can’t do nails.TL;DR shockingly bad, went to relax, left with a ruined afternoon.. and ruined nail beds.

So I was a bit nervous to come here because of the other lower reviews but the lady who did my nails did an amazing job! She shaped them beautifully and I would definitely return to her again!! Salon was clean and had a great atmosphere. Color selection was plentiful as well!

Called the day before and they were able to fit me in. Fatima was excellent! Very personable and enjoyable to talk to. My nails looked fabulous!!

I always end up back here. For awhile I wasn’t getting enough money from my job to go here since they’re a little pricey for me but as soon as I got a higher paying job I came right back. My nails look amazing. Last time I was here the store had some flooding and the phones/Internet was down and my Nail tech was answering customer calls she has transferred to her personal phone, training a new girl, delegating customers to free nail techs and doing my nails and she did a terrific job at all it! I have nothing but GREAT things to say about Red Handed Nails🙂

Pick another salon that cares about it’s clients. I made an appointment last week via their website and when I arrived today they said they were booked. They did not care and said they don’t monitor the site. Last time the tech nicked my cuticle and it wouldn’t stop bleeding. I was going to give them another try as long as I had a different tech. Now I’m headed to another salon.

Ive been here twice for gel manicures/removal. Vanny and Nettie were friendly and did great work. The gel lasted a long time. Ill be back!

The personal was nice and courteous, but the floors and bathroom were dirty. There was trash all over the bathroom and the trashcan was overflowing. The person who did my nails was very nice, but she cut them to short and didnt do a good job with my cuticles. Also, while doing the leg massage she only did one leg. I didnt say anything... should have. The cost was higher than other places where I have had better service.

Beautiful space and great atmosphere. I have gel manicures done every two weeks after stumbling on it on my way to Trader Joes. Everyone that has done my nails has taken their time, is meticulous, and professional. Reasonably priced and my favorite spot to get my nails done. Highly recommend Red Handed.

I give them two starts only for the salon interior and cleanliness, but very upsetting quality of service. I have been getting gel manicures for more than 5 years now and I get them every two weeks. I decided to try this salon last week on Friday. Well the polish application looked awful as I left the salon and saw it in the sun light, my nails weren’t completely covered by polish and I could see my nail showing at the top...It’s exactly a week since my manicure and guess what...I don’t have a single nail with polish on it, it started lifting and I just peeled off the polish from each one of my 10 nails!!!! This has never, ever happened to me! And I know exactly why it happened and it’s sad that a customer has to tell them how to do their job. Well here it is: before applying the base coat, you are supposed to apply something that takes the oil off the nail so that lifting and peeling does not occur. I feel totally robbed as I paid $43 including the tip, for what?!?

I went there on a Sunday, very empty, so no wait time at all. The lady was super nice, and honestly all the one stars were because they were walk-ins and obviously appointments will be taken care of first. They were also quick and professional, I only needed to spend a total of half an hour there. Overall, amazing experience- loved it!!😍😍😍

Absolutely appalling customer service.For a nail salon that seems like it bills itself as high end, the customer service and experience here were absolutely unacceptable.I understand that weekends are busy and dont expect to be able to walk in without a wait. I do expect a somewhat accurate estimate of a wait time though. Telling someone 30 minutes and stretching it to 45 is one thing, but telling someone 30, stretching to 45, and then sitting them in a pedicure chair with cold water for another 30 minutes without a word of explanation or apology is appalling.More than that, explaining how appointments work to a customer who is unhappy and walking out isnt a good strategy for booking future appointments or getting good word of mouth. You cant stick people in a room and ignore them for AN HOUR AND A HALF after telling them 30 minutes and then try to drum up future sales without even trying to express apology or understanding.Rude, unprofessional, appalling.

I cant say I would recommend this place to anybody. First of all when I called I asked to make an 1pm appointment for a fill in and to fix a broken nail, and that I would be out within the hour, the lady said yes. I get there at 1 and the lady wasnt even ready until about 1:15 (mind you I was on a lunch break, so I was pressed for time). I notice I had been sitting for awhile and and when I look at my phone its almost 2pm and she was no where near being finished!!!! I asked her to change the shape to coffin while she was working. She agreed and even looked at a picture of it on my phone. When she gets finished it is 2:30 and my polish is crappy, the shape is uneven, and for some odd reason I have white crusty stuff all around my fingers. She implied it was dead skin and I should use the brush to scrub it off. Like yea right, its where you did a sloppy job and got the acrylic everywhere. I let her know that I did not care for it and then she starts to persuade me that it looks good, when it clearly did not.Now mind you I have fairly long nails to do any style with, so this should not have been a problem.As I was leaving another employee noticed I was not happy and offered to have somebody redo them tomorrow. But to be honest what has been done to my nails cant be back tracked, I would have to cut them down and start all over.Moral of this story do not go here if you are in a time crunch or want your nails to look pretty, especially for $50!!!The proof is in the pictures.I will update after tomorrow (10/24)

The nail technicians speak English and are friendly, but take your lead on chattiness. The basic pedi was wonderful with a leg and foot rub with scrub, then lotion, then hot stones! The salon was clean, and the chair and foot bath were clean. I will return.

Let me start by saying it is a Sunday which is busy I understand however I called before 3 and asked if it would be possible to get a man/pedi. They said sure come in at 4. I showed up at 3:50 and was told to get a color. Fine Im early not a huge deal. At 4:10 Im directed to a counter top seat for a mani because the pedi chairs are all full. No big. I sat there for 15 min with no one coming over. At this point the its been 35 minutes and Im annoyed and someone who came in after me as a walk in is already getting gel. Are you kidding me? I get youre busy but then dont tell me to come in. At 4:25 they can over with a bowl of water. A COLD bowl of water. Because it had been sitting out so long. The woman who came over to do mani did a good job trimming my way overgrown cuticles which was nice but she was in a big rush which kind of sucked. I honestly may have given a one star if she hadnt apologized for the wait. The pedicure was great the girl who did it was meticulous in cleaning trimming and filing. She also was big on the massaging which I love. The chairs they have are great. I was given my manicure in the chair which was fine they were rushed to leave but the manicure felt rushed. And a bit sloppy. Like another reviewer mentioned it wasnt painted to the cuticle so it wont look good for long so thats a bummer. She manicurist ended up finishing my toes so they were rushed and felt sloppy too. Then I felt rushed out so my toes werent dry and they are ruined because of putting shoes on. Felt like a waste after all that hassle. I wish they had said they were too busy.

I am highly disappointed in this place. I went there with my mom against our judgement bc we are happy where we always go. However, a friend of mine recommend them so I thought Id try it out. My mom said she read bad reviews already but I talked her into it. Our appointment was for 530 but we didnt start til 6. Pedi was first...... the ladies who waited on us were very nice but the actual pedi was less than ok. Then we moved on and my mom got a mani and I got a full set. We were both talked into getting gel polish (they do not have any prices posted anywhere btw) and neither of us had gotten it before. They didnt tell us it was $20 extra. I ended up with a $90 bill for a basic pedi and an acrylic set with gel polish. So here we are not even 7 days later and I already need a fill and the bottom of my feet look like I built a house barefoot. Gross! Never again. Ever. Definitely dont get whatyou pay for!

I paid $70 for the worst acrylics. I showed her a picture and she still managed to do nothing that i asked for. When I told her I wanted her to fix them, she told me I would have to pay for them to fix what i didn’t even ask for in the first place. I am so upset about the terrible service and will not be coming back.

Been twice and have been impressed both times.

I came here a couple weeks ago for an eyebrow wax and the lady had no idea what she was doing. She didnt tweeze after waxing and Ive never had an eyebrow wax where the person didnt touch up after applying the wax, and Ive gone to many salons in Virginia in the last 6-7 years. After the waxing I had to go home and pluck for about 10 minutes. For $13, this was a surprisingly disappointing experience from a salon I expected much more from.

Over charged for nails that look like they already need a fill & theyre not even shaped properly. Called in specifically for chrome design it DOES not look how chrome nails are supposed to. NEVER again!!!

This place is one of the worst place I have ever been to. My pedicure looks like it has been done by an amateur. This was my first visit, and I will make sure to be the last. Extremely disappointed!

A great place to come get your nails done! This is my second time coming to get gel polish – a mani and a pedi. Everybody there is super friendly and accommodating and the customers are also really kind. It’s a quaint place to go. I would highly recommend!
