Great location, spacious apartments, staff is very friendly. I lived in Charlottesville for 9 years and this was by far the best place Id lived - would have stayed if Id stayed in Charlottesville for sure.

Apartment 300 4th Street, Unit 4What a super cool apartment with massively tall ceilings and exposed beams, a really interesting floor plan to be certain. The bunkers in the back are no joke, they are like the size of a bedroom. We easily fit a king size bed in there. So close to the downtown mall, your one block away. And the maintenance staff is great, Webby is great, and the owner (never met him) is super reasonable. They let us go on a lot of things which was super appreciated. Some cons of the apartment:* NOISE - although our neighbors were mostly very good, there is no insulation or drywall between you and the floor above. Your ceiling is their floor. This results in super easy noise transfer. We even had a few rare cases of liquid come down from the ceiling (could be someone spilled something). Maybe this doesn’t bother you too much but it definitely wasn’t great for us* BUNKERS - although they are awesome, they tend to be humid and damp. You REALLY want a good dehumidifier back there if you plan to sleep in it. Although the room will be pitch black in the middle of the day so that’s pretty neat.* DUMPSTER - it’s pretty far away which isn’t horrible but my one issue was how many times it was overfilled. All that being said, still a 5 star experience for us, the pros outweighed the cons, would recommend.

The location is great, and the property manager is really nice. The walls are really thin and you can always hear the neighbors, especially when they are walking up the stairs which went right above my bedroom. The rent is relatively high, but there are few amenities such as a gym/firepit/grill/pool/etc. They do have access to Ting, which is great for internet, but expensive.Overall, enjoyed my time, but wish the noise insulation was a bit better

The most well managed apartment complex Ive ever lived at. Webbie and Phil were both consistently amazing. I lived here for 3 years and only moved out because I bought a house.

Loved living there and miss! The location awesome, Webbie awesome, best property manager, along with Phil head maintenance. Always available and quick response. We lived there (#3) for 2+ years, moved to another location November 2017 due to needed a garage and 3rd bedroom after selling our house of 15 yrs. Still miss the location and neighbors we got to know. Meet up with Jill K. and her dog at Azalea dog park and reminisce. Miss walking to downtown mall, all the eateries, post office, bank, music venues, farmers market (opening day for the season this weekend).

Well-maintained property, an outstanding property manager, cheaper rent than surrounding areas, and close to downtown.I have been staying at Norcross Station for a temporary period of 6 weeks. It has been nothing short of wonderful. Webbie, the property manager, is incredibly patient and kind, and takes the time to get to know all the residents and their fur babies. She is accommodating, friendly, and overall a caring individual. She responds very quickly to all communication. The complex has 3 buildings: the first one is an old warehouse that was converted into apartments. The second and third ones are recreations of the warehouse style. I lived in #2, which did not have an elevator, so it was presumably built before the ADA requirements. #2 has 4 different addresses on 4th St which corresponded to a particular set of apartments. This is very useful for deliveries as the address corresponds to your apartments enter/exit doors to the building. The actual apartments themselves are unique in the warehouse style. Theyre gorgeous, with large, inviting windows. I live on the top floor in a loft-style apartment. The apartment included a small kitchen, hardwood floors, washer/dryer, and WiFi/TV hookup on the first floor, and the bathroom and carpeted bedroom with a large closet on the top floor. My rent in total is about 16% cheaper than other on-par apartments in the area. The building is a bit older, and you hear the occasional creek, but thats more charming than it is bothersome, especially with the warehouse style. Additionally, the AC is strong and reliable. I received notice that my apartment might only get 20 degrees cooler than the outside temperature, but I keep my apartment on 67 degrees, and it has never itched beyond that, even in the hottest days of the summer thus far.The complex does allow visitors; theres just a simple form that needs to be filled out and put in the car. There is a large parking lot that is used between the 3 buildings, and the trash station is in the corner of the lot. The people who live here are very friendly, and if you like dogs, theyre friendly, too.Norcross also allows subletting, which is what I was doing. You will be responsible for the rent and power bill while subletting. The primary apartment holder left the place furnished (beautifully, I might add) so I could do a truly temporary stay. The sublet process was easy breezy and no hassle at all.Norcross is just steps away from Water St, and a block away from that is the pedestrian strip with bookshops, restaurants, clothing stores, candy shops, etc. Its also steps away from the transportation center/the first bus stop on Water St, in case you need to get somewhere else in Charlottesville.Overall, it is a gem of a complex in a prime location. If you get a chance to stay here, take it.

Best experience Ive had renting in the Charlottesville area or any other area. Unfortunately Im having to leave the area for school, but will be back if ever I move back to Cville. Webbie and Phil are more than accommodating for any of the tenants needs and go above and beyond to ensure we are all well taken care of.
