They did demo only for things which should and they were fairly reasonable. They also worked with insurance company and took care of it. I called for an estimate for mitigation services after my toilet had a concealed leak, and Rob Fischmann came out to inspect the damage the next day. Rob and William were very professional and worked quickly to tear out the tile and get the dehumidifiers in. They were very helpful in getting this problem solved quickly for me. Rob and his team are incredibly thorough and were adamant in determining the ROOT CAUSE of moisture related issue in my house. Every summer my house has very high humidity (which has led to mold growth in bedroom closets) and numerous contractors had been unable to determine why it was occurring. Rob went above and beyond to help figure out the source of the moisture and I finally have an answer after 5 years of dealing with this. I worked for this company for a while and I would recommend this company to anyone who has had a water damage or fire this company really cares about their customers!!!& employees!!! They very professional!!!!

They left job uncompleted and said there was water damage in another area besides my laundry room. They were called out for a area in my laundry room. There is a hall and den connected to that area. They said they were through and my husband pulled baseboard in laundry room and it was still wet and had black mold. We took a video of him taking it up and sent it to Kendal and he said we had another leak and refused to come out and fix it. He said our den and hall was wet but we took all of the flooring up and it was all dry. I told him we werent happy and the job was incomplete and he didnt care. I would never use them company and would tell everyone else not to trust them. They were paid $2100 for a job they didnt finish. They also told insurance adjuster that I wasnt going to pay them. Were honest people but they sure arent.

Such a polite man to do business with. Very thorough and stayed until every inch of the house had been reviewed so we knew just what needed to be done for closing.

Rob and his team did a stellar job. We had a washing machine get stuck in the ‘fill’ position which flooded our entire living area, kitchen, and laundry room. They were out to the house in no longer than 2 hours, setting up dehumidifiers and fans. They were responsive to our calls and dealt with our insurance company (USAA) without making me a middle man. Very professional, very timely, would definitely recommend to anyone!

They were very responsive and was able to come out to the house as soon as I called! We had a water leak in our kitchen from the second floor bathroom! The crew did a great job assessing the damage and solving the issue! Kendell connected us to a great plumber and after the leak was fixed, they came back out with a dehumidifier! Our drywall was 99% soaked but after one night, it had decreased to ~13-20% saturation! WE WERE SUPER IMPRESSED! They did a great job for us and know they would do the same for you! Rob and his team were fantastic. Our leaky tub sent water through the ceiling in the room below. I called UWRG at 6am and talked to the dispatcher. Rob called me back 30 minutes later after having been at another clients house until 3am. Rob personally came out that same morning. Before he left, he had dehumidifiers and air movers going. We were headed out of town the next day, but trusted Rob and his team to come in and finish their work while we were gone. They took great care in their work. We also werent sure whether we were going to file a homeowners insurance claim, but Rob assured me they dont operate any differently when insurance is involved versus when it is not and gave me everything I needed to file a claim just in case. I highly recommend.

The team was able to determine an issue of the odor in the basement from a unused laundry room. Basically the drainage pipe needed water poured into the drain to fill the p-trap. If the water in the p-trap evaporates then the odors from the sewage connections will begin to seep through. Simple quick fix.Thanks guys for that quick assessment!

Chris and Eric from United Water restoration did a fantastic job at my house. I had a shower leak and the interesting thing is they found the water leak but the plumbing company that came out to my house couldnt find it.

From the moment I called United Water Restoration, Rob put my mind at ease. I had a horrible sewer backup into my BRAND NEW construction home due to fault of the builder, so you can imagine my distress. They worked around my schedule, came out the next day per my request. Negotiated a fair price, and got to work immediately. When they first came in, my sub floor, and carpet were 99% soaked and I was dealing with “Level 3” water which means it was highly contaminated. Once I approved the work with Kindall (who was kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable) Rodney began work immediately. I couldn’t recommend a more professional team of guys, that actually care about their customers. Thank you guys so much for making a nightmarish situation for me, just a little bit better! I appreciate it!

Overall great experience. Kindell was extremely professional, communicated clearly, and didnt seem to go overkill with the water mitigation equipment (or at least my insurance adjuster didnt think so). One knock is that on one occasion a member of their team showed up announced one morning to check on some equipment after I had already moved out of the damaged house. I was close by so not a major issue, but a call in advance would have been nice. Other than that one thing, my experience was great.

I recently had a home that required mold remediation and called Rob. This was a time sensitive issues, as we had to extend the closing due to the mold. Rob and his partner came out the same day, assessed the house, assessed the report, and had an estimate to me by days end! I was impressed with their knowledge, experience and professionalism. My upstairs toilet randomly started heavily leaking and I didn’t realize it until water was pouring from the ceiling downstairs! I was hysterical! I’ve put a lot of work into upgrading my house over the years and I had just replaced the flooring upstairs! There was about 2-3” of standing water when I went up there. They were at my house within an hour and a half and they took care of EVERYTHING!! They came back everyday to check on things and even took my dogs out for me! And let me tell you, I have a very difficult puppy that can jump the fence, so she has to go out on a leash.. just a cute little pain! These sweet guys took care of her and my other two dogs and even said that it was their pleasure! Had a major flooding on Memorial Day. Called UWR at about 2:15 and they were here within an hour. Evacuated the water and set the fans and dehumidifiers to dry the wood floors. After 5 days of the equipment running, the moisture level of the wood was negligible. We have 2 small pieces of wood that should be replaced. This was wonderful news since almost the entire house had up to 1/2 of standing water. We will highly recommend this company. It helped a great deal that we were home and were able to start removing the water as soon as possible. It would have been very easy to remove wall board and molding for the additional cost, but the readings did not warrant the work. Sometimes it is easy to take advantage of people during a stressful situation, they did not do that. Had a very positive attitude throughout.

We used United Water Restoration Group of Charlotte for a leaky dishwasher. Kindell and Rodney dried the affected area well and helped me with any of my concerns.

As Rob would be able to discover later, the outgoing condensation drain line from A/C in our house was blocked by excess landscaping material mixed with mud, backing up a huge amount of water which then got inside drywall, underneath carpet, and damaged insulation. By the time we realized how bad the damage was, mold had already grown and manifested on drywall and baseboard.Rob came out immediately to assess the damage as we were totally frustrated about the situation. He was able to determine the source of the problem and fix the leaking right away and setup equipment to get the drying process started, as well as air scrubber that cleans the air of any mold spores. He and his crew were onsite the next day to complete the whole shebang, tearing out damaged drywall, carpet, insulation, etc, because, unfortunately the water had been sitting for so long that these parts became unsalvageable. The equipment then had to run for the next four days for the wood beams to completely dry before Rob came back to pick them up.During the job, Rob got us through the most difficult part of recognizing and dealing with the problem. Rob educated us about what needed to be done and went ahead did them in a very timely manner. By the time the job was finished, the floor was bone dry and mold was dealt with, and the site was ready for reconstruction.Overall, we had a very pleasant experience working with UWR. Rob was very patient with all our questions about either the job or about billing and it was very easy to communicate with him. For these reasons, we highly recommend UWR for any water damage related project in the area.
