I worked for trident for two years and both years were terrible. Both of my supervisors did not care about the condition of the pools, and if we texted that we needed supplies or if the pools chemicals were messed, up they would not come to our pools until days later. When I was 15, they were illegally scheduling multiple 15 year olds to shifts without anyone over 16 there as well, which is illegal. Our control box was also broken, but our supervisors never came to fix it, meaning that 15 year olds would have to go in and out of the pump room every day to use the controller manually, without the help of 16+ staff members, which is also illegal. Along with this, the higher ups do not care about their staff. In the entirety of my two years there, I met the owner, Mark Houff, once. He stopped by for two minutes, shook my hand, and then left to go play golf with his buddies. The executives at Trident do not view their staff as people, or even teenagers, as they were making 16 year olds work 40-60 hour work weeks. They are simply money hungry capitalists that work based on profit, not the betterment of their pools and staff members. Do not work for trident, better yet, dont be a lifeguard, it isnt worth it.
Worst company ever. The “HR” person, Bailey, talks to the guards like they’re dirt. The guards report for mandatory meetings and aren’t compensated for their time. That wouldn’t be so bad if Bailey actually spoke to the other employees like young adults and not like they’re a complete waste of her time. The guards however, are great workers and completely professional. My child wouldn’t work for them though.
I don’t have many positive things to say… Trident manages our neighborhood pool and does a poor job. The pool is filthy with dead bugs, leaves, bird poop, and other particles. Toilet has been broken for weeks. People have consistently complained about the poor state of the pool and nothing has been done.
Apparently Bailey in HR is not concerned about teenager employees. Works them overtime and dosnt pay. No check and she dosnt respond and 250 in swimsuits to workIf your child considers being a lifeguard - pass on this outfit.
I was a lifeguard working under trident, and I just wanted to say this company is not good. The HR of the company Bailey Brown, never responded to emails and treating guards like trash. Not training guards fully to not paying fairly. It’s one after another with this company. Do not have your child work for them.
Avoid at all costs! So horrendous they have to post fake reviews to have anything positive said about them. Bailey Brown, featured in a clearly biased review below, is the “Human Resources Manager” at Trident, who specializes in ripping off the employees while treating them like something she stepped in instead of human beings. Anyone wondering why their pool is so dirty? Well, if you use Trident pool group, it’s probably because they neglect to train their staff on how to vacuum the pool and then attempt to call lifeguards in to vacuum, one day in advance, on their days off. I’m not sure what kind of deal this company is offering people in order to get contracts, but I can assure you it is not worth the amount of money you are saving. I would leave zero stars if I could but apparently at least one is required to leave a review. Go literally anywhere else!
Great company with great employees. Good with follow up. Really awesome lifeguarding program. Enjoyed working with them for years.
Absolutely terrible company!!!!! Very rude, treat workers and customers terribly and very unprofessionally. I recommend this company to people who enjoy having they’re time wasted and enjoy being treated like a nobody. Never again!!!
Our community uses them. Not happy.
Very rude and unprofessional they will scam you out of your money.
We live in a nice community and one of the young girls who was lifeguarding, Zhanna was outstanding! She never stopped. She kept an eye on the kids enforcing rules. She emptied garbage cans and even cleaned the pool!! Never have I seen anyone clear that pool nevermind a young lady! Props to her parents for raising a hard working dedicated girl. Trident, give that girl a raise!
Trident is the best!
Easily the best pool company in Charlotte. Highly recommend.
Requires constant follow up to ensure they complete contractual obligations. Would not recommend to other communities.
Is bad
Great pool company!
Horrible service, our hoa pool not served as agreed, skip days then fill out log as it was done, don’t clean skinners regularly
Worst company ever
