Went to Sassy Nail Bar in dilworth for a gel mani before an event. The inside was very clean and friendly, and they had a great color selection. I’m not sure what happened, but my nails ended up looking awful. It may have been cured incorrectly or the polishes/top coat were messed up because my nails look very weird and streaky, and I didn’t really notice til after I had left the salon. I would maybe go back not sure I would want to risk this happening again.
I was told 15 minute wait, got moved to a seat 10 min later, waited another 30 minutes. Asked the front desk again, and she told me 10 min. Even though every nail tech was busy & no one was close to being done.I asked if I could make an appt and come back in an hour. She told me no appts on Sunday’s, even thought I’d been waiting for an hour when she told me 15 min each time!!Very frustrating and the young girl at the front was not very nice or helpful. Do NOT recommend going if you don’t have an appointment!!
Not my favorite nail salon… I feel like this place is very ~get you in, get you out~. For me, getting my nails done is a treat. I want to be pampered and enjoy my time getting a manicure. I don’t feel that here. Also, my nails always chip pretty quickly when leaving this place. I got my nails done the week of July 4th, and had a chip the next day. They did fix it though and did not charge me which I appreciated. Now, it’s been one week later and I have two other nails that have chipped. This never happens at my usual salon. I expect my gel nails to last *at least* two weeks. I don’t like to leave negative reviews, but I have been to this salon quite a few times and recently decided that I had had my last visit with Sassy.
This was my first and last time going to this nail salon. It had been 4months since the last time I went to a nail salon. I wanted to treat myself to going to the salon. I choose this place because I though it was cute shop. Needless to say my experience wasnt worth what I paid. I went in and waited a few minutes. I showed a picture of what I wanted to the nail stylist.1st the receptionist told her what I wanted SNS instead she started putting Arylic on.i figured not to worry cuz my natural nail was gone. 2nd she started the color my one nail was supposed to be a beige base color with a leopard design. The base color she picked without asking is pink. Which isnt what I wanted. 3rd she started filing the nail shape. I told her I wanted round she gave Almond. 4th I went to pay and there was no where for me to add a tip for her. So I have her the cash I had which honestly was probably about 5 bucks. 5th if you go on the website it does Not list their prices. I had to ask the nice receptionist for the prices. I shouldve know better if I couldnt see the prices. I paid 96.00 bucks for nails that I wanted but didnt get. Also they charge you for everything. You want your nails to be groomed they charge you. You want a matte top coat they charge you. Everything is extra. Not worth my money or time. I hope anyone who reads this thinks twice before going.
I’ve only been here twice. The first time my polished lasted a long time. This time my nails only last 3 days and my polish was chipping by Tuesday and I got them done on Saturday. It’s like my polished was watered down. This is why in the past I’ve always brought my own polish so I don’t have this issue. Not good if I spend about $90 for me and my mom and her nails are still holding good.
They did an amazing job on me and my friends pedicures. Thankful that some nail bars are still serving drinks.
I’ve been here maybe twice now. The first time I went I got a gel manicure and it was decent but not great. About a week and a half ago I got a full set put on and it was no where near worth what I was charged. I was charged extra for length and file. Now 1. My nails are not very long. I’ve never once been charged extra for my length when I’ve gone other places. 2. I get a stiletto file which I understand paying extra for the file but not when you have stiletto shaped tips to start off with. Not only do I not agree with the additional charges but after a week my nails have started lifting on a brand new set. My nails are also bumpy, the polish doesn’t go all the way to the sides, and the file I paid extra for was not even done well.Still giving two stars because the salon was clean and organized and like I said before, my gel manicure was decent.
I’ve been a customer of sassy for many years and was very excited for this location to open as it’s a bit closer to home. It’s one of the best nail salons I’ve been to and I highly recommend to anyone who wants a luxury nail experience. The mango pedicure is a must!! They are always clean and my nails last for weeks every time. I’ve never had a bad experience.
The setting/location is very nice and the staff is very friendly. I’m rating them 2 stars due to their work. I’ve gotten my nails done here twice: both by different workers and each time the quality has been terrible. Breaking off within the first week (both with acrylic gel and SNS). Even my gel toe polish has chipped. I am not a “rough” person and take very well of myself. The quality of the nails is simply “not it”. Also, the nail shapes and even filing aren’t done well at all. The nails simply just don’t hold up at all.
My nail experience was fine and they have amazing chairs but I wouldn’t recommend getting your eye brows waxed here! The lady burned me with the wax and didn’t say anything I thought it looked a tad more red then normal but by the time I got home saw it was turning into a large scab.
I love Sassy nail salon! I always go here for the best pedicure and gel polish! Great massage chairs as well
Me and my sister got our nails done here and they are so weak both of us lost a whole nail.
Just ok. I’ve been the the Morehead location for a pedicure and they did a great job there! My pedicure here was a little disorganized and sloppy. I said (multiple times) I wanted square shaped but I left the salon with misshapen round nails toe nails (that were also filed too short 😖). I’d stick with the other location next time.
I’ve been a customer of Sassy Nails for 2 years now. Helen, Aiden, and Sendy have always done a wonderful job. Ever since they hired a teenager to work their front desk, my appointments have been messed up. Once she booked me for the wrong date. I get it; mistakes happen. Two weeks later I made an appointment for today at 6. She confirmed and read back the date to me. I showed up at 5:55, only to find that the same receptionist had no idea about my appointment! I just spoke with her the day before. She told me several times someone would be with me shortly, but the clock was ticking and I kept getting passed over. She spoke with the owner, who supposedly would have been done in 5-10 minutes, but she was deep into giving the second leg massage to another customer.Although the receptionist apologized, I will not be coming back. Time is too limited to have appointments messed up so frequently and in the last 2 times I’ve tried to come. I will be using other nail salons moving forward and am frustrated with the lack of communication here.
It took me a few days to do this review. Im not one to do bad reviews in hopes of tarnishing a business reputation however I found that my experience with this nail salon was highly unacceptable. First off this was my first time visiting this place, I work near and figured I would stop in on my lunch break for a full set. Upon arrival, I was promptly greeted and seated with a tech, whom was very friendly. I showed her the picture of exactly what I wanted but to make the shape thinner for the coffin look. I also wanted the polish to be matte as well. I was told it would be an additional $5 for each, which was no problem for me. The Gel Set alone was $55..... still no problem for me, I even tipped the tech $10. My nails did not turn out how I wanted them to but I chalked it up saying not every thing is meant to be perfect as the picture, also as I am not particularly picky. In addition, I paid a total of $75 for nails that broke within a week. I returned exactly 6 days later and showed them my nails and they said $5 a piece to fix. Lol long story short pictures are worth a thousand words, but mine as you can see were NOT worth $75! I will not be returning, the quality of service was extremely poor ! I have had to re glue 4 out of 10 so far !
I always get my nails done here, and have been a patron for the past 5 years. They do an amazing job, are always professional and my nails never crack or chip before my next appt (I get SNS). Would highly recommend!
This place is great, I can’t wait to book my next appointment with Kelly!!!!
I love Sassy Nail Bar! My gel nails always last at least two weeks and they are always super efficient of which I really appreciate as I constantly have a jam packed schedule.
Amazingly clean and staff is friendly. I rarely get my nails done but I enjoyed myself so much I will definitely be back. They are very accommodating I called that morning and booked an appointment. They sat my child and I immediately.
Besides the wait sometimes (they are ALWAYS busy), this place is by far my favorite nail salon! The staff are super friendly, don’t speak in another language right in front of you (which is rude as heck), let me bring my baby (and adore him!), and best of all, my nails (gel) always lasts 2+ weeks because they buff really well and don’t over coat it! I highly recommend, but not on the weekend, lol!
Spotless salon and great staff! I had the mango pedicure and as a stylist myself it was amazing to get great service!
Friendly, professional and overall very pleasant experience - Ill be back!
Very unpleasant, unprofessional, judgemental and didnt give my daughter her massage nails was ok but had better nail technician had a bad attitude if I can give this place zero stars I would. Asked other customers if they would like a drink and didnt ask us for a drink Im done wouldnt recommend this place to nobody.
Beautiful inside, great customer service!
