There professionalism was great, they have great customer service, but Ive had 2 bad experiences as to how my nails turned out, I got my nails serviced Friday of this week. and sunday they look very bad. The gel nail polish is lifting and I have several events to attend.. maybe you should consider switching products. That wave gel, gel polish is a NO No.. as a cosmetologist professional I have to speak up. Quality over quantity.. I will return on a opening day hopefully they will consider fixing them.

Amanda is my girl!!! She is always nice, courteous, and professional. I enjoy going there and I rarely have to wait a long time for service. Even being short staffed due to the pandemic they are still putting out quality work. Im never disappointed when I go there. Oh and they offer wine which is always a plus in my book!!

Really love them ever since I have been going I haven’t had any problems very clean and relaxing and the prices are reasonable I will continue to go there ❤️❤️

Pansys staff never fails to deliver professionalism and care. Shout out to Amanda for getting me right every time! She has really helped me come out of my boring shell with the vibrant colors her creative mind puts together!

The customer service is horrible, I haven’t had my nails done a week and been back once already for chipped polish, Amanda burnt me with liquid activation my pedicure was horrible, told her the acrylic was burning my toe she didn’t care! They charge me $120 for garbage!

Both females are incredibly nasty especially when your voice what you want and what you don’t like. I’ve gotten acrylic nails and pedicures from here three times and each time my pedicure hurt during and afterwords. The lady gets upset when I tell her she’s hurting me during the pedicure and then she starts being rough with my foot because she has an attitude that I spoke up. The lady who does the acrylic nails attitude is no better. I definitely would not recommend this place and I wouldn’t be surprised if they went out of business

I got this text after I had to go back 2x with in a week of paying $120 for my nails also was burned with liquid activation Amanda can not apply acrylic at all they are horrible I have a scar from the burn and it still numb!

Very unprofessional lied about having color acrylic to fix my nail repair when I’ve gotten the same color acrylic nail set done there!!! I’ve never had a good experience going there but because they’re never busy and are right by my house I decide to give them a try! Well NOT ANYMORE THIRD TIMES THE CHARM RIGHT!!! Just know you’re not getting top notch treatment there!! Go somewhere else!!

The lady who did my pedicure was not friendly at all and did not ask me which service I wanted . They all were talking so loudly t to each other. She did not add any product to the water before starting on my feet. I give her a 1 for customer service . I will also do my eyebrows since Im already here. I will not go back to this place again

Ill start by saying that I rarely post a bad review and I rarely complain because being in the service industry is tough, but I didnt know I could leave a nail place so upset.I should have gotten her name, but I definitely had the girl who speaks the least amount of english. She didnt ask, but I explained that I like a slightly rounded nail. She COULD NOT FILE MY NAILS STRAIGHT - I couldnt believe it, I just kept pointing out that nails were completely crooked. She would nod then file away, but theyd still be crooked - I finally just gave up and she started doing the dipping. A few nails had a ton of clumps and she looked confused and frustrated - She would get the other girls attention and they would talk about it in another language, then shed move on. It didnt seem like she knew what she was doing.When she finally finished up, there were about 4 or 5 nails that were bumpy, but one was pretty significant. Even though they were closed, I had to point it out and the crooked nails. Then a different girl started working on my nails - First the nail I pointed out, then the other few which she obviously didnt need me to point out because they were messed up! I told her that a few of my nails werent even straight and she started filing away into a perfect square with no care what I wanted. Now its taken me a solid 6-7 months to get my nails long and now they are gone!!! Oh and Im getting married in a month! Thanks!I was there for over 2 hours. There was no apology, no discount, nothing. They could care less. its been one day - I have crooked square nails, a chip and my nails are so short, theres nothing I can really do about it at this point. MISERABLE!

Long story short if you a plus size lady like myself this is not the place for you. They are very rude and didnt want me to sit in they chair like I was gonna break it.

Tammy did a really good job on my nails. The facility was clean and very well organized. Due to Covid 19 they followed proper protocol as well.

The nail tech did a great job. She cleaned my nails like no other nail tech has ever done before. The place was clean and the follow the social distance rules.

I’ve been going to Pansy Nails for about two years now. My technician is Savannah and she is awesome!!! I am always able to schedule an appointment with Savannah via phone or text and each time my appointment has started promptly. However, I do know that it is harder to get appointments on busy days so I have to make sure I work with the flow of business which is very understanding. I love how Savannah took the time to get to know me over the years. She knows how I like my nails, able to suggest colors for me, and knows what I won’t like even when I think about trying it. Tammy, the owner, is also really nice too and greets me every time I walk in. There aren’t many salons where you’ll get a such a personalized experience. The prices are fair. Location is convenient. Setting is comfortable. Music is good. Complimentary drinks offered. What more can you ask for!?

I love coming here. Savannah is great every time I get SNS. Always neat and exactly what I want. All the staff has an amazing attitude and spirit. They greet you when you walk in, and not just one but all do. The wait is not long and they make sure when they’re working with you it’s no rush. And it’s amazing that it close to where I live.

Ive been going here for a while now and I absolutely love this nail salon. Everyone is so nice and knowledgeable about the best care for your nails. I can be a bit indecisive when it comes to my nails, but Savannah hasnt lead me wrong with choosing the best mostly neutral (lol) nail color to really highlight the beauty of my natural nails. My nails are at their strongest and Im amazed each time I get them done. Im happy each and every time I leave! ❤

Got nails done- fill in with Gel nails- after maybe a week the polish is peeling($35+plus tip ) and I called just wanted them to fix and I was told after 2 days they do not Guarantee that the polish would last( Paraphrasing) I thought gel polish was suppose to last at least 2 weeks! Nether the less would be Patronizing this establishment again! Very disappointed I. How it was handle!

I visited this shop twice. The first time the service was just okay and my nails did not last more than two days. The second time was very, very, very poor customer service. Especially, from the short fat woman that works in the front. She was rude. She did not even look at me until the end when I gave her a $5 tip that she did not deserve. She was very rough with my hands. The lady who did my pedicure did not scrub the outside of my heels. When I mentioned it to her, another pedicure girl said that they dont use the large foot scrubber for a basic pedicure. I told her that is fine but you have to scrub the whole foot regardless of the size of the scrubber. Needless to say, she reluctantly scrubbed the outside of my heels. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE! I refuse to pay for poor service and bad customer service. They even have the nerve to play gospel music in the shop, but there is nothing Christian about them. Go somewhere else!

Poor customer service skills. I came in last Saturday with my 12 year old daughter to get her a gel manicure and the nail tech was really rude to my daughter, very impatient and just had a bad attitude all together. In customer service I feel being friendly to kids is extremely important. That was enough for me to never visit this salon again.

The youngest 2 ladies working there are good. My first time visiting my nails were not done correctly but, they (the younger 2 ladies)were nice enough to make the corrections. 😊

Have gone to this place 3 times. I just ask that they cover the nail; it’s always seems to be a big deal and a big discussion. The last time I went to get a fill in and there was nobody in the shop but I still had to wait 5 minutes. Once she came up she said I would need to cut a broken nail in the quick and I stated this is going to bleed. She said well that’s what has to be done. I left and I will never go back there. They are supposed to be a Christian based shop but pettiness and short changing people seems to be their theme.

I guess since I wasnt a regular I got the new/inexperienced young girl... I specifically asked to not get someone who was not experienced and that exactly who I got! Nobody in the shop knew what a American Manicure was .. She put primer on my nails at the end instead of a Top Coat.. totally clueless! I hate I paid my money and it was the 2nd worse set of nails I ever got! I currently dont have on any now.. not fixable.. just better to get a fresh set at this point! Im upset the hostess (the black girl) did not see me fit to honor my request which was very simple.. I was willing to wait, but she didnt ask or care. Money hungry I guess... 👎

Im only giving it a 2 because Im still waiting on my services to be done. Upon arrival, the manger I assume, is on her phone asking can she help. I tell her I have an appt and I wanted to get my daughters toes painted as well. She proceeded to look at me like Im crazy, my daughter is 5 and we do this often. She asked me to pick out my color and my daughter proceeds to say she wants to pick a color, of course Im not stupid, I will pick it up for you. The manager says aye dont let her pick it up because she will break it. Im sorry...aye isnt the way to get my attention and Im not an idiot!! Kids do drop things but dont come at this situation that way. I wanted to walk out then but just because my co-worker was here, I decided to stay to give it a try. As of now, Ive been waiting for 20 minutes in water for a pedicure for an appointment that I scheduled. But the place is nice, the manager just has poor customer service skills.

5 star service from start to finish!..The friendly technicians really do a great job telling you the condition of your nails and making sure you make the best choice for your skin. You can tell its more than a job to them. The prices are great for the services you request...and my pedicure was beyond relaxing..The Milk and Honey Pedicure ...will become my new regular. If you are looking for an upscale clean environment with complementary redreahments, this is your new salon. well its gonna be mine. See you ladies in 2 weeks!

Everyone there was very friendly and professional. My nails always look fabulous when I leave and their prices a great. Exceptional work from Savannah, she works fast and neat, you always leave satisfied.

Like every woman I love quality service, good sanitation and good impressions. First experience, on a Saturday they were under-staffed. I got a fill-in with gel polish. She kept cutting my cuticles with her electric filing system which made my cuticles painful and raw. My nail near my cuticle was exposed instead of covered. My nails broke off an hour later because they were filed so thin. When I called manager she became defensive, she then told me to come back. When I arrived she said she would not replace my nails, only the nails that broke, even though all the nails were scanty. The manager refused to compromise or come to an agreement with me to make me happy. I spent $40. I told her I would pay for the take off but I need my nails replaced. She refused and they all became combative and and started yelling at a customer!!! I told them I get my nails done bi-weekly I cannot pay for another full set. They were more concerned about keeping what I paid then keeping me as a client. I advise all do not support this shop, there are many better nail salons with experienced, professional nail techs.

I just left here and I hate to give them a one star because they took me at 635 and they close at 7.However, the tech that did my nails did a horrible job. I was very unhappy but I felt bad letting her know. She cut my finger. The acrylic is too thick and painted my nails the wrong color and said it looks pretty. I was so frustrated I just decided not to say anything. By far the worst overlay with gel polish I’ve gotten in years and a huge waste of my $45. I’m really not sure how they have 4 stars. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

I visited Pansy Nails approximately 2 weeks ago and I was very pleased with the services I received. I had the Citrus Pedicure and a Gel polish on my hands. Holly and Joy (I hope I have their names correct) were excellent and attentive to my needs. I will definitely be returning.

I’ve been going to this shop since they opened. After reading some of the reviews, people are really interesting. I’ve never had an issue to the point I need to complain about it. I’ve never been treated back and a lot of the girls in there talk to me. Often times, your experience can be impacted based on your personality. I always make appts with Savannah but I’ve talked to all of them and they have built rapport. I will continue to go there as long as I’m in Charlotte. My SNS always lasts longer than anticipated. Keep in mind no one is perfect so if something happens one time and you don’t die.. just say something politely and move on if addressed appropriately.

I love this place a lot. Ladies works here are so nice and I got very good hop from Savannah. I’ll come back to see them again

I’ve been here many times before but this time, as soon as I came in the door, they were staring me up and down. I asked for a pedicure, they sat me down and lady came over to me saying “please do not move or use the massage settings because we had a lady break it due to her weight.” Yes I’m a big girl but I’m damn sure not big enough to break a chair. She then proceeded to say that they will still service me. Why would I give my money to someone who insulted me? I am infuriated!!! They will never get my money again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

I was trying to give it 3.5 stars. I will say they deffinatly know what they are doing and the lady that did my nails did a wonderful job. The customer service was just terrible. She yelled at me due to miscommunication on the phone even after i apologized. I was so embarrased i wanted to leave. I held it together though and i sat through the appointment and it got better and i left a great tip. I just ask that the customer service gets a little better, but ill definatly be back for more services. They did a great job when me and my boyfriend came for pedicures

Great salon. Nice size and clean. This was my second time going. I walked right in and there was no wait. Ana is my go to lady. She is nice, professional, funny and she stays focus. My last set lasted for about 6 weeks. No chipping, lifting or breaking. Great jobs ladies. Maybe next time I’ll get a pedicure. :)

I got a full set & my nails were breaking 2 days later!! I went to try just pedicure & there was one lady that did a good job however today not only was their menu for pedicures confusing she almost refused to actually scrub the bottom of. My feet even tho I was willing to pay more! & also cut so deep into my cuticles it hurts very bad & bled a little smh ! I left before she finished & refused to pay due to less than mediocre work ! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACEBeen here before but this time was the LAST TIME. I went to get SNS and manicure on my natural nails after having regular acrylic polish on my nails.Savannah was VERY disrespectful once she realized she messed my nails up. She skipped a step and didn’t even use polish remover to make sure all my polish was off before starting SNS and by the time she was done I thought it would look better but it was TERRIBLE and definitely not worth $50. Another employee said she will soak it off and I’ll pay $15 for just a manicure.Savanah is very disrespectful and doesn’t care about how clients feel. She bragged about having good reviews and didn’t care that she gave me a bad service. They almost called the police on me cause it was so bad and I felt so threatened I didn’t even want to pay.You have to treat people better than that. Very disappointed. NEVER going back.WASTE OF MONEY

The name I signed in under is Erica on 3/1/18 and If you try to say my review is untrustworthy I have no problem posting the charge on my bank statement. I cant complain about my experience at Pansy but I am one that pays attention to reviews and responses. I have read all of the reviews and the responses especially those that felt they had a negative experience. I am appalled by some of the responses by management the lack of tact and customer service blew me away, to the point of out right calling some customers untrustworthy. I never saw once where management apologized for their experience or even where management said what can we do to change your opinion and make this better. Based on what I have seen in the reviews I will not be back because it makes me feel that if I have an experience that I am not satisfied with I will receive this same negative treatment. I like to spend my money where I know that it is appreciated.

Had a gel manicure at Pansy Nails. Devestated that after four days, three had fallen off. When I called, they did not seem to care. So I went back to my regular salon and will be never return to Pansy Nails, nor recomend them. They are just about money.WOW - it appears by your response that you do not take criticism for your less than par work. Same attitude you had with my issue. Good riddance.

I walked in to get a pedicure and while I’m waiting, one of the ladies who works there came and she stared at me. At first I thought she was trying to figure out if she knew me. But when I smiled and said hello she just stared and then looked off. I was confused and thought that was rude. So I kindly scratched my name off the list and left. Please work on your greeting for customers.

These people are NOT LGBTQ friendly. They were rude. I am all over social media telling the LGBTQ community to stay away. Spend your money where we are welcome.From your response it is clear that your technicians are lying to you. I will continue to tell our community to stay away. First manager needs to learn pr skills. I had a pedicure done that did not involve any scrubbing of the legs needless to say had to pay for it. Picked a colour that when applied dint match to what i picked but they insisted its the right coloir. To add salt to injury the gels started peeling off after a week. Worst pedicure there please do not go there not unless you want a job badly done with the staff outrightly gossping you in their language.

If I could leave them 0 stars I would. I will never in my life step foot inside this nail salon and I encourage everyone reading these reviews to not waste your time! This is the most unprofessional “business” that I have ever encountered. I made an appointment with Savannah on 08/07/2018 before a scheduled vacation. I specifically made an appointment, because I had other appointments ALL week (I was flying out Friday evening.) When I arrived for my appointment, Savannah had not checked her appointments that day and was in the process of helping another customer. As I was standing right in front of her she checked the appointments and realized that she missed me. She asked me if I could come back at 7, but I had made plans right after my appointment. Normally I would have been fine with waiting but I clearly made an appointment because my schedule was hectic that week. I told her I could go do what I planned on doing after my appointment and be back by 7:15/7:30, because they closed at a certain time. Tammy (manager or owner) would not agree to that. Savannah asked me if Tammy could do my nails instead, I hesitated b/c I’m familiar with Savannah’s work but I proceeded to say yes (apparently they did not hear me). Savannah and Tammy switched customers so Savannah could do my nails. 3 days later (Friday) my nail broke so I went back to see if I could get it fixed. I stated that I did not have time to wait for Savannah and I was willing to pay someone else to fix (it was one nail and easy to fix). As Im waiting they call someone else who arrived AFTER me, so of course I questioned that as I previously stated that I would PAY someone else to fix. Eventually I hear Holly complaining to Savannah about me saying that I would have to pay to have someone else fix. So I interjected and stated what I already said, I don’t mind PAYING. Holly had the AUDACITY to call me difficult from my last visit (and she wasn’t even there that day!). How DARE you call a customer difficult when the customer MADE AN appointment!! Most businesses try to accommodate when THEY make an mistake. Regardless, who talks about customers in their presence?!? Tammy decided she wanted to argue with me b/c I didn’t want her to do my nails on the date of my appointment. Again, I had an APPOINTMENT with SAVANNAH for a reason, but I was still willing to have someone else do them. Savannah proceeds to tell me that she can’t accept any more appointments b/c they get busy, as she proceeds to take an appointment (from someone that I know) over the phone right in front of me . I was actually texting that person as she called to make the appointment. Now I will state that although Savannah forgot my appointment she is one of the sweetest nail techs I’ve ever met. This review is on the lack of professionalism of Holly and Tammy. It is clear from the way she is arguing with customers under their reviews that she lacks the basics of running a business. On my previous visits, they would complain about customers to me WHILE THEY WERE STILL THERE! that should’ve been a red flag. DON’T GO HERE!!!! I have never been this disrespected in my life.
