I’ve had the pleasure of being contacted by Christina McCarty. She was professional and extremely responsive. I had been looking for work to no avail for about six months due to COVID layoffs in hospitality. It was a quick and pleasant experience the entire way. It was easy to add my documents online by taking photos of them since I do not have a scanner. She even reached out to me after my first day and gave me her contact information the day before to speak with her in case of issues with entry (key card access) to the contracted corporation. The communication was top notch and the coaching prior to the interview was an amazing touch that helped tremendously. I’m an Afro Latina and felt like part of the team immediately. They understood what I needed and connected me with a company that truly understands the work life balance I was looking for. So grateful to her and the team for their help. I now have an amazing corporate position with a company that I love and this is only the beginning. Thank you HH!

As a recent college graduate Hunter Hollis has been more than helpful. I’ve been working with Melvin a little before officially graduating and less than 2 months after receiving my degree I was able to obtain a full time career within my desired field. Melvin truly worked tirelessly in ensuring I would find the perfect position - he’s provided anything from interview preps, resume fixtures and so much more! His hard work and dedication does not go unrecognized, I truly recommend this company and Melvin to anyone who is seeking an opportunity to grow and obtain a career!

This is by far the worst company i have ever experienced working with, the team does not communicate well and than will turn around and blame it on you,saying your not a team member when you say something about the team not communicating.I have been told one thing my one person and than told something else by someone else, when if they had communicated like a team should they would of gotten the information needed, i was extended an offer to another company thru hunter hollis was given a start date(which one lady told me was wrong even tho i was never told another date and had to correct her) but never any other information, such as a time or who to contact to get in the building. i was told it would be okay for me to send in some documents on my first day because i do not have a scanner at home, a week later they reached out to me again saying i could not even be onsite till i had those documents in....only to be told an hour late after doing the back and fourth phone tag that it would be okay as long as i sent it in within my first three days.(yet another miss communication within the hunter hollis team). Fast forward, it is the day before i start, i still have not been given any information on how to get into the building(key card access) without a key card, so i reach out yet again to hunter hollis to try to get more information, and i am told i should of already been given that information and they will make sure to get it to me in an email within the next hour.....waited an hour .never got an email. reached out to hunter hollis again to let them know that i had still not received an email. It was than that i was told they were pulling my offer because i was not a team player and they didnt believe i could work well in a customer service roll......i have only worked customer service my whole life, and because i mentioned that the team at hunter hollis needed to communicate better within hunter hollis and be more diligent about getting information out to new hires, they have pulled my offer saying i am not a team player that they dont think i will work well with others and they can not longer offer me this position because they do not believe i will represent hunter hollis well nor they client they are third party to........Hunter hollis did not communicate within they did not communicate to me as a employee or give me the information i needed to be given as a team player should.and by me pointing out a weakness that the team needs to work on. i am considered to no be the team player. Whos really not the team players ..the people who can not communicate as a team,or the person who pointed out the lack of communication to help the team realize a fault? Ill let you decide. If you are looking for a temp company to get a job thru i highly suggest that you FIND ANY OTHER COMPANY OTHER THAN HUNTER HOLLIS.

February 2019Had a very nice meeting with Christina McCarty...so I thought.After our meeting I never heard from Ms. McCarty ever again; though I sent countless emails & numerous telephone calls; which all went to a nameless voice mail.It appeared that Hunter Hollis was a reputable agency. In fact, Ms. McCarty telephoned me & asked if I would come to meet her based upon my online resume. However, blatant, overt, disrespect was extended to me through nonverbal communication & follow up.I am a professional, well-educated, well-put together African American woman over 30....Not sure if this was a factor; but I would have at least respected the opportunity of their response to tell me so or to communicate any other issue they may have had....I expected much more from this well-established agency......
