I went in on thursday september 16 did my drug test back ground check and the interview i did it all about 15 min afther i left i get call saying my i-9 didnt go threw for me to come back and sighn some papers i did that and showed my id again .so i was told everything was good.call up there today to see if my background check went threw the lady told me i was clear so i said ok when are you going to put me on the list for campbell then she tells me i have to come back again and sighn something esle i come back i tell her who i am she walks to the back im sitting for a long time.i look and she outside sitting down on the phone. She act like i wasnt even there.these people have my personal imformation as well as of my direct deposit imformation they made feel very uncomfortable and i walked out.i have never in my life went to a temp service that messed up on my i-9 and give me the run around making me come in twice to sighn something thst i already did on my onboarding it dont set right with me.be very careful about sharing your personal imformation.

Applied for a job, received an email to ask if I was interested still, said yes. Got a call to come in for processing. Was emailed a bunch of onboarding stuff and told in the email, Congratulations on the job offer, do all this stuff! and subsequently had to do a bunch of typical onboarding documents before I came in. Was told to come in for processing and it turned out to be the equivalent of an in-person phone screen. I still needed to have a legit interview with the client to get the position, which I was never contacted back about and its been a month since the falsely-advertised interview. Needless to say, I didnt get the job. They got my sensitive personal info with the onboarding documents (which is reserved for when you actually get jobs) and I got nothing in return. Would not recommend. The staff is friendly, but this was not a positive experience overall. Possibly requires retraining, as the star rating indicates I am not the only one whos had issues.

The team at the Charlotte location are extremely pleasant and professional. Even though they didnt a position that fit my schedule Anthony the Recruiter was amazing to deal with! He hilarious and we connected on a personal level with my situation. I highly recommend anyone seeking employment to ask for him!

Very nice people but they are messing up a lot of people checks . I love the job I got hired for but missing a lot of my hours for a whole month out of 4 checks 3 were wrong. If you do go through Elwood make sure they are paying you every dime . Ps.still haven’t received any money back from them . (Don’t work for free) like me I will take legal action. They never wander the phone I have to keep calling back to back .wish I read reviews before applying

I wish I had read these reviews before working for Elwood, because I had the same issues: NO communication on their part, and my first check was missing 8 hours. I am still trying to get all of my pay! I do not recommend working for them at all! I kept them up to date any time I had to miss work, and the fact that the call off line for Ross DC would not work for me for some reason...it kept saying it wasnt in service, even with a 1 in front of the number. Elwood didnt seem too worried about it, but because of that, it looked like I no call no showed when I didnt! I have left numerous voicemails and text messages...all ignored. Dont waste your time!!

Wish I would have read the reviews before I started working for them . Ive been waiting a month an a half for ten hours overtime. Call them they want answer the phone go up there and they lie right to your face. Sad they need to do better. I will not refer a friend or family member to this staffing company.

I worked for Elmwood staffing in October for Campbells worked hard and have not received my pay since October I called every day and here we are in February and they have not reached out to me call me about the money they owed me every time I talk to someone they tell me what days are you missing I sign my timesheet like I was supposed to and still no word on my paycheck so what I suggest this company to anyone no theres a lot of companies out there that will pay you but this company seems to have problems with paying people so my next step will be getting a lawyer

They are very unprofessional! The only reason I gave them a star is because I had to in order to leave a review. They messed my pay up, i called to let them know that i didnt receive my check and theyve been IGNORING ME ever since and i still havent got paid yet. Ive called and left voice mail, even text messages and no one have reached out to me and its been almost a week. Ive never experienced anything like it, most staffing company wouldve had this resolved by now.THEY NEVER PICK UP THE PHONE, I MEAN NEVER!!!!!......... IVE CALLED AT LEAST 30 TIMES. I WANT TO TALK TO CORPORATE.

TERRIBLE is a understatement! RIDICULOUS they messed up my pay for 2 weeks in a row, never answer the phone, very rude! I WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!!!! They will place you in a job site quickly but that’s no good if you’re basically working hard for free!!!!! Please don’t waste your time PLEASE! I worked 48 hours at Ross overtime and got paid $200 and basically I’m playing the waiting game too get my money!

You can never get through on their phone line. Called 2 hours straight and still have to call back. Did that and still no answer.

Havent work for them yet but I try calling about a job and spoke to a lady at charlotte nc Elwood staffing and the job posted on the same day which was still on there website page posted and told me that that job was no longer.... so why post it in that hour and the jobs not even open... I called the next day and someone picked up and just hung up on me... worst place and the site dont even let you apply. Cant even get a hold of them... needs to rehire people who wants to do their job. No wonder you guys are 2.9 rating...

I worked my first weekend of 11/06/20, 11/07/2020, at SnyderLance, Campbells, From 2:00pm to 11:30pm on the 6th and 3:00pm to 9:00pm on 7th, I am not the smartest individual here, but I am pretty sure the hours I just described does not equal to $24.48 deposit. Whoever the CEO is, he/she is definitely not disciplining the staff. I go to work on time everyday, I cannot understand what I did to deserve this. I am a hard worker drama free employee. 11/15/2020

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.I went through Elwood to get employeed for Ross Distribution center. Whenever I started Ross i loved it. Ross was great. The staffing company however, trash. I would give zero stars if i could. The messed up my checks for A MONTH straight. I called and called and left countless voicemails. I have texted and recieved NO response whatsoever from ANYONE. Whenever i would actually get someone on the phone they would tell me they will make a note of it and it will be dealt with. Never happened. I would send text messages and if I GOT LUCKY and they responded and i respond back, i would never hear from them again after that message. When i had the interview at Elwood I told them specifically about a vacation i had coming up that was already paid for. I asked if this would count against me and i was told no not to worry about it that as long as a manager knows then i should be fine since it was made in advance. Whenever it came time for me to go on my trip, i called into Elwood to make sure / double check and they said it WOULD count against me and told me that is just how it is basically. I would get occurrences for it but as long as i called in i wouldnt get into any trouble. I called in ALL 3 NIGHTS I was supposed to work that i was on vaca and they tried texting me AFTER I GOT BACK and told me i was no call no show. I told them no i was not that i had called in and they told me i needed to TEXT THEIR NUMBER INSTEAD. The same number nobody would respond back to me on. Whenever i told them i didnt feel comfortable with that because i have texted countless times with no response their comment back was we see all the messages sent in via text. I went in for about half a night and went home sick (i was sick on my vaca too) because i inhaled something off the boxes at Ross trying to blow them off. The dirt was a inch thick. I was out FOR A WEEK AND A HALF because my dr suggested I get a covid test. Test came back negative. I KEPT ELWOOD UP TO DATE AS MUCH AS I COULD BUY CALLING IN EVERY NIGHT AND TEXTING THEM ABOUT THE SITUATION and after i told them the test was negative, again no response. I called and called and called. Finally a woman named Freda picked up the phone and told me to send proof and that she would call right back with answers to what i should do from there. It has been YET ANOTHER 2 WEEKS OF CALLING AND TEXTING WITH NO RESPONSE.I also want to add, not only was i intouch with elwood about my checks but my supervisor and managers were too. FOR WEEKS. It took my manager tagging all of ross managers, supervisor AND hr + all of elwood in a email about my checks. From what i was told they have BEEN a problem and people quit ross REGULARLY that go through Elwood because of this very reason.I LOVED ROSS but i wish i went through DMSI instead of Elwood!! Such a waste of time!!

Very unprofessional. Doesnt pick up the phone as well as doesnt keep in contact or updated on when you start or even where to go or a time to come for you to start. Terrible experience. Waste of 3 weeks after passing drug test and told Id be contacted with a start date, 3 weeks and then they send me a text that says they filled all positions🤦‍♂️ then went to the actual company elwood said they were getting me on with. And the company hired me for the same position that day. Shouldve done that in the first place what a waste.

Me and some friends came in to the office to fill out applications and was treated like trash. Some lady with blonde shaved head was yelling and being unprofessional. She acted like we were inconvenient and made us all uncomfortable. We waited forever and ended up walking out. Would not recommend. Don’t waste your time. Would give give zero stars if it was an option.

I don’t have any yet. But I will do some investigation For myself by sending some referrals and see if they are really genuine in helping people find employments! So I will definitely be providing some feedback on this company in a few weeks. Stay tune.

They give so many of their perspective employees the incorrect address sending them to my office off Arrowood Rd in Charlotte. If these people truly cared about getting other people jobs, they would do WAY BETTER in their due diligence to AT LEAST get people to right place! Like, for real? Yall really cant even send people to the right place to begin helping them get hired? Ive sent so many people to their correct address on Tyvola Rd myself, because I care. I dont have to help anyone but I do because Ive been laid off, job searching, etc, just like most of these people just trying to FIND Elwood Staffing. Please get your program together.

I feel this is the best place I have ever worked at. Even the interviewing process and the onboarding process was such a pleasure and everyone was so positive no negative vibes at all from anyone in the office. I have never worked in a place that has people that truly care about their Associates and their internal employees. Everything start OK but working at Lance/ Campbell was very unprofessional payroll was messed up did not get paid on time got paid late afternoons. Had a lead that work overnight she had no real mgmt skills goes around and speak people like they are nothing asking people are they afraid of her who does that in time mgmt is supposed to encourage and help people not discourage them that why they are having problems there and will continue. I cant say all sights or like that but I would be surprised

Havent been paid in over a month for time that I worked for. And they just are so unprofessional and are not good people to work for.

Simply a great group of people that will help any way that they can. I really like their online timekeeping system and their online application is easy. Plus the employee discounts program is pretty cool. And employees even brought in toys for the office so parents can still apply in the office without having to get a babysitter- never seen another agency care that much!

I had walk in to elwood staffing agency and there was nobody to greet me or to help me. Also I heard people talking in the back so I went to let them know that I am waiting to be help. But I waited for 10 minutes and was never help or at least told they would right with me.

Any felonies on your record don’t even waste your precious time and gas. I should’ve went with my instinct and not even went for the interview I was honest about my background and they still turned me away talking about if anything changes with me let them know lol that criminal record isn’t going anywhere but just heads up any felonies don’t waste your time. Beware of this staffing agency, from an internal standpoint they are very nice to your face yet the harder you work for them, the more they stab you in the back and fire you. Thinking I was making a difference in the unemployed people of our community; when in all reality I was used and they care nothing about their employees. My advice to anyone seeking a job, steer clear of Elwood Staffing. There are to many staffing agencies that really care about their internal and external employees more than Elwood ever could. The turnover rate of Elwoods internal employees is higher than their external employees. They fire everyone and leave one girl to do it all. Also all the reviews are left by those who work there. Not actual ones that they employee.
