This company is terrible. They gave me a start date, shook my hand, congratulated me on the new job and told me all of my paperwork had come back good. I then proceeded to buy 5 days worth of business casual attire not to mention the gas I had spent for multiple interviews one of which being all the way out in Cornelius. A week later or so after embarassing myself in front of all my friends and family bragging about my new job I get a call saying that my background check came back and they couldnt proceed with the hiring process. These convictions were all over 7 years old and were all put into the papers I filled out during the hiring process. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Modis has been an awful company to work with. After getting the initial role, I had lunch with my recruiter within a month to see how things were going. After that point I never heard from the guy until 6 months later when I inquired about a salary re-evaluation. He replied to me on a Wednesday telling me that Friday was his last day and never provided any new contact for me to talk to about questions I had. From that point until my last day on the 18-month contract, I never once heard from anyone at Modis unless my timesheets were an hour late. Even during my last week working for them, there was no follow up or attempt to place me in a new role or even say goodbye. This is now a month later and Ive applied for unemployment benefits, but theyre on hold for two weeks because Modis cant return a simple email confirming that my contract came to an end.Side note: they are no longer allowed to contract with any of the major banks in Charlotte because they do not meet the standards for a proper recruiting company.

Worst experience ever. Told me wrong address, wrong time, never got my stuff back, and never got returned calls. Stay away
