The people at Bob’s Oriental Rugs were a pleasure to deal with.We were moving and had about 14 oriental rugs to clean. I gave them the dates of our move, and the rest was taken care of. They came to our house, picked up the rugs, with no charge for pick up or delivery. They cleaned the rugs, removed pet stains and odors, and gave me text messages along the way with pictures of the rugs during the cleaning. When the rugs were finished, they simply delivered them to our new home. I am very happy with the price (turned out to be much cheaper than another nearby rug cleaning company who charged per rug for pick up and delivery).The staff who picked up the rugs and delivered them was very pleasant to deal with. Simply gave us an invoice upon delivery and I paid by check. They even gave us a beautiful antique Persian pillow cover as a gift, which my wife got to choose from an assortment of pillow covers, that best matched our living room furniture. I have had to use many different services during our move, I must say that Bob’s Oriental Rugs was one of the best. They do business the right way, the old fashioned way, and take care of their customers. I would use them again In a nanosecond.

I couldn’t recommend Bobs more. My dog chewed up parts of my rug, and I had them clean and repair it. Matt was the one who picked up and delivered my rug and was nothing short of kind and professional. After moving my ottoman, he even vacuumed my floor before setting my rug down. My dog had an accident on my oriental rug that had belonged to my mother. It has so much sentimental value to me. I was afraid the rug was ruined but Bob’s was able to remove both the stain and the odor and the rug look beautiful! Used this company for the first time and was incredibly impressed. They cleaned my 80 year old heirloom oriental rug after a spill and returned it spotless, soft and smelling fresh. Pick up and delivery was streamlined and professional. They wore masks while in my home and explained the procedure prior. They sent me a video of the different stages of cleaning my rug.Overall very pleased.

Great choice for oriental rug cleaning. They did a great job cleaning and repairing my rugs, and communicated with me throughout the process. Price was reasonable too. But I can give you the warning that I wasn’t given.I had a fairly new Pottery Barn rug. My dog left a vomit stain on it that, unfortunately, I didn’t see until it dried into the looped fibers. I tried to clean it myself with no luck.I spoke with a very nice person at Bob’s Oriental Rugs. I dropped it off. It was returned to my home with a free delivery, which was great! But when it was laid down on my hardwood floor, it was now warped.It was beautifully clean! Yes! But now garbage because it was no longer an even rectangle. One edge came out on each side. I was devastated. I was told that the glue came loose during the wash. I wish I had that warning before the wash because I would rather have hid the stain then have an uneven rug.So although the customer service was nice, I will need to trash the very expensive new beautiful rug.Perhaps the most shocking thing to me was that when they helped lay the rug down in my room and I pointed out the warped edges, they seemed to think that was acceptable. I loved that rug. Money wasted on a rug and a cleaning. :(

Recently, during COVID, like many people, our family went on a cleaning quest in our home! An obvious item we’d been neglecting for 15 years was having our oriental rug professionally cleaned. It’s a huge rug the size of our entire living room, and with six cats and 1 labrador retriever, it’s seen better days. Bob’s Oriental Rug cleaning service to the rescue! The initial assessment pointed out areas like the fringe, that could be repaired, and the promise of a beautifully restored rug was promised, they completely accomplished. It’s like new with the vibrancy I remember falling in love with when we bought it. I plan on using their service again for the next neglected rugs in our home because of the friendly, quality service delivered!

So happy with the process, timing and professionalism. My rug looks and feels wonderful.I had my vintage Persian rug cleaned and the fringe removed where the puppy chewed. The edges were rebound (by hand) and look like they’ve always been fringeless. The repair added time to my project so it took about 7 weeks -just as I was told at pickup. Delivered and placed today. There is a slight cleanser smell from the newly cleaned rug - not totally unpleasant but noticeable. I imagine it will dissipate. Matt was very timely and professional in picking up our rugs for cleaning. Unfortunately, we had a lot of rain that week, so the cleaning was delayed. A very professional business. The oriental carpets I had cleaned also needed repairs. These repairs look like the original carpet. The carpets look wonderful, and smell wonderful. Bob’s Oriental Rugs offered excellent service, results, and affordability. I chose them from others’ reviews, and am very pleased to be able to post the same! We had an 8x10 area rug cleaned for pet odors (cat urine), and not only is the smell entirely gone, but the rug is also much more attractive (colors enhanced), soft and pleasant smelling. We’re planning on having them clean and finish the edges of three other Persian/Afghani antique rugs that we own, and getting their pads, which seem like a good investment as well.

We couldn’t be happier with the service provided by Bobs Oriental Rugs. They were able to quickly set up a time to pick up our rug, clean it and have it back to us at a time that worked for us. Bob’s cleaned and repaired 3 wool rugs for us. They are, by far, the best firm we have ever used to service our rugs. The repair work was so professional. We had a rug that had been given to us and sitting in our garage for years. It turns out it was an antique wool and silk rug in need of repair. The difference in the rug once they cleaned and repaired it was remarkable. The colors and textures are now so vivid and beautiful. The technician was amazing. He made sure the floors were clean and he even vacuumed the floors before putting down the rugs. He was very educated about all aspects of the cleaning, repair and maintenance of our rugs. Miracle Workers! I had recently purchased a new rug for my family room that was handmade of silk and wool.(Not a good choice for the location) Once you spilled anything on this rug you could not get the stain out, at all.The texture would also change once you tried to clean it and you would see lighter areas where you attempted to clean it. The final straw was when I spilled an entire cup off coffee on it. It completely destroyed the rug along with my laptop. Bobs came out the same day we called to pick up 2 rugs. He took a look at it and was not sure if he could get the stain out. He said if he couldnt, no charge. They also do resizing so that was also an option. Well, I received my rugs yesterday, and I honestly could not believe my eyes. ALL THE STAINS/SMELLS CAME OUT! Attached is a photo of the damaged rug. It was much, much worse in person and smelled of coffee. I didnt attach the cleaned rug since it is still in my garage wrapped up. (I ended up buying a new rug since I had no hope for this one) Outstanding workmanship! Highly recommended!

This was an awful experience that ended with my $2000 rug being ruined. The quote on the phone didn’t match the quote when they came to pick up the rug but I let that go as they did honor the first price.My rug was returned with 1/3 of it dyed a different color. They weren’t even supposed to be working on that part of the rug but I guess it got bleached or faded during the cleaning process. Evidently the entire rug has to be clean even if they are only working on a couple stains.When I mentioned it to Matt (who also goes by John), he told me that they did the best they could and that he worked really hard on my rug. Never addressing my concern. He then told me if I wasn’t happy, I didn’t have to pay.I said okay and Walked in my house. He then started knocking on my door and rang my doorbell. I wouldn’t answer and told him I would text him. Frightening!! I told him he ruined my rug and he asked me to pay him anyway because he had 2 small kids at home. He also told me to not tell the manager because he would lose his job.When I spoke to the manager Scott, he said A) they didn’t ruin my rug....it was that way when he picked it up and B) He saw nothing wrong with Matt’s behavior.Do not trust them with anything of yours. They are scam artists!

When you invest in an expensive rug for your home it has to be done with lots of care. The rug is cleaned by hand Its a very tedious job.. I highly reccomend...And it smells wonderful too!

We had an oriental rug that we bought about 20 years ago. Our dog urinated on it multiple times and it had multiple stains. We rolled it up and stored it in the garage for about 8 years. It is 8 x 10 and we got new flooring in our dinning room. and thought that the rug would look good there. We decided to unroll the rug and see what could be done to restore it. We called Bobs Oriental Rugs to see what they could do. They said they could restore it to its original beauty. And boy did they. It is beautiful. It cost me $650 to restore and is now worth about $5000 retail.They did what they said they would do for the price they said. What more could one expect.

Happened on them in Google, needed to get rid of damaged fringe and deep cleaning for my 15-20 year old hand loomed rugs. They finished the ends by hand and the depth of color on one and the clean shine of the other is amazing. And the cleaning prices were half what I normally paid! I wasnt sure what to do with these rugs they were so tired and boring; but now I appreciate the quality, colors and beauty of them again. Very, very happy with this company.

I was very pleased with Bobs Oriental Rugs. I had a stain from a sick dog which I was concerned that neither the stain or smell could come out.The rug came back with neither the stain or smell.They were also very honest a small mistake was made in my billing and they proactively corrected the mistake and called me to apologize for the error.

I had three rugs that needed cleaning, one of which was badly stained. Matt told me upfront the colors were unlikely to return to normal, but the rug did get cleaned and there was some improvement in the colors. The other two rugs look good as new. They also repaired the binding on the rugs. Pickup and delivery included.

Such great service! I wanted my rugs cleaned over the holidays, which I knew was a busy time. But the team responded right away and scheduled a pick up for my 3 rugs the same day I called. The rug pickup and delivery were seamless. Matt was prompt, professional, and informed me of his time frame for pickup and delivery. The rug had never been cleaned since our purchase. It was delivered in impeccable condition. We will definitely use their service again.

Just had two antique Persian rugs cleaned, one with pink spots on white background, and one with black spot on fuchsia background, all spots are gone and they look great. Using organic shampoo and dried in the sun gave them a pleasant fresh smell. They also did fringe reinforcement on one of the Persian rug, Great Work! recommend them highly.

I called after learning that my new rescue pup was less house broken than advertised. They arranged a pick up the same day and Matt hauled away 5 handmade rugs ranging from 10 to 30 years old. About a week later, Matt returned the rugs and they were beautiful! So many little details and flourishes popped after the cleaning. Matt laid out each rug and custom cut the padding. The price was reasonable for the cleaning, pads and repairs, and the service was outstanding. I will be using Bob’s again.

I highly recommend the folks at Bobs Oriental Rugs. I had a rug covered in pet stains. They cleaned it beautifully - all odors removed. They were extremely timely and courteous, and even cleaned my hardwood floor prior to replacing carpet to insure there were no odors on the floor that may re-attract my dogs. One of the best service experience Ive had in a while.

We had one rug that was badly damaged and needed repair. The other rug need a cleaning. WOW...they patched the new rug so you couldnt even see where the holes were and the other rug looks brand new. They even recommended a much better rug pad than we had - which will be great. Matt came to the house, consulted with us and was a delight to work with. THANK YOU BOBS Oriental Rugs. Well be back!
