I bought my first car from Ivan while I was studying Mechanical Engineering at Purdue. I took the car to another Mechanic and put it on a lift during the test drive and neither of us could find a flaw. I was still skeptical after my purchase but after driving this car for 5 years now and no issues, its fair to say the skepticism I once had is now gone. I bought my 2016 Honda Fit here about a month ago. I couldnt be happier with my purchase. The car is very solid, no problems or any minor issues. Buying my car here saved me around $5,000 - $6,000 from buying it from a car dealership.I would definitely checkout this place first before going to any dealership or private seller. (I drove all the way from fayetteville)I went to 6 dealerships prior coming here, all dealerships always come up with hidden fees(price adds like $4,000 which is crazy) and will try to take your money and advantage of you. When I came to South End Auto i asked for the price of my 2016 Honda Fit which they said it was $9,750 and thats what i ended up paying in the end, no hidden fees or anything. i was surprised and very happy. (car still smelled like new lol and had 24,000 miles).South End Autos staff and the owner are very nice/friendly and professional, they will take care of you. Trust them, they know what are they doing/saying. I had been on the hunt for a Subaru Impreza for months when I just happened to run across this one a few weeks ago. I found one similar to what I wanted at a car lot near my house but it was in worse shape and they were asking $2,000 more. I had a specific amount I could spend and it worked out perfectly with taxes and all I could afford this limited edition car with no loan from the bank (which i couldnt do).Just to be clear, I drove from Tennessee 4 hours away. This definitely took a leap of faith on my part.I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to see how nice the car looked in person. He did allow us to test drive it and look it over as much as we needed to. We found no issues. South end auto is a great car dealership there tittles might be salvage but there cars a basically brand new and they sell them at great prices. I just picked up my 2013 370Z witch was basically brand new for a amazing price. They also have great customer service if I ever need a new car there are my go to for sure.

Ivan sells late model cars that are salvaged and rebuilt. He does an excellent job, and is open and honest about every aspect of his business. Many members of our family have bought cars from him and gotten excellent value.

These are all rebuilt salvage titles. But my car drives and looks great. I had minor issues that they diagnosed and repaired in no time. Ill certainly be back:-)

Plan to budget $1k for extra repairs after buying a car from here. Ive had my car 30 days now and its only been capable of being driven 6 of those days. Day 3 of vehicle ownership the engine mount broke which caused the engine to twist in the engine bay. Ivan took the vehicle back and fixed it for a small fee. They were also very clear that the vehicle is AS IS/NO WARRANTY. After driving it home from the repairs the vehicle was still far from being right. There was coolant spewing all over the engine, which upon further investigation I found that the radiator was clearly damaged and was physically bent. After getting that replaced the vehicle would stumble and die leaving me stranded twice, diagnosis was a bad radiator fan which was shorting out and causing the computer to shut off. Once both of those have been replaced it seems to be working ok for now. The next repair that the vehicle needs is a new washer fluid bottle. The one they installed leaks and wont hold any fluid. Im living in constant fear of the next thing to break/fail and wondering how much that will cost and when I will be stranded again.The phrase you get what you pay for comes to mind here. These guys give you a deal on the vehicle but they use parts from wrecked cars that may or may not be fit for service again. If I knew that I would have to throw thousands into a vehicle with a salvage title I would have put that money into a vehicle that wasnt assembled with questionable parts.

They offer a great value for for a newer car, although they have a salvage titles, they take great care in fixing the car, and they also offer warranties.

You never know what youll get when you buy a used car- particularly one thats been wrecked- but Ive been very impressed with the way that Ivan, Bobby, and the rest of the guys at South End have treated me- straightforward, honest, and responsive.

2011 VW Golf 2.5I recently found myself in need of a new car for work. After a bit of research I came upon South End Auto. From the moment I made first contact to the keys being placed in my hand Ivan and his shop met and exceeded my expectations. There are a lot of auto rebuilders out there but I have yet to find one that is more honest and with such value as South End Auto.

Bought a 2010 VW Jetta because my previous vehicle gave out in the middle of an internship and I needed a car fast. A year later and I am so glad I happened upon this dealership. Great prices and great service. I am looking to buy from them again soon.

Ivan claimed this was expected.In another instance, a vehicle of ours had an issue with the valve body, a fact backed up by several local transmission shops where I had the vehicle checked. Not only did Ivan keep the vehicle for about a week, he guaranteed that it did not have an issue, and tried to charge us for the “diagnosis”, instead of actually repairing the vehicle as originally requested.In yet another case, with both a female family member of mine, as well as my wife, Ivan has yelled at and belittled them respectively. This guy seems to have a real issue with female customers.What does this mean for you as a customer? Find a good deal on Craigslist, something that is not a salvage title. If you purchase here, expect nothing but problems. I agree - definitely budget at least an additional $1K - $2K post-sale for repairs.

After she had wrecked her 2007 Wolfsburg Jetta, I wanted to get her something she would be familiar with so we checked out Southend (they specialize in VWs). We were so pleased with the facility and their high quality work we decided to pick up a 2010 Jetta SE 2.5 that was ready. His cars are not only gorgeous, they are priced right as well. If you dont mind driving a vehicle with a rebuilt title, you owe it to yourself to check these guys out. Well, fast forward (4) years and the car is still running and driving like a champ. We needed another car so I checked out Ivans website and saw a 2013 Jetta SE 2.5 for sale. I called Ivan, put down a $200 deposit and ended up buying another one. You just cant beat their prices or service. These guys are so good at what they do and it shows in their workmanship. The guys who work there are all super friendly and knowledgeable. We will be customers of Southend auto for life. We are so fortunate to have found Ivan and his great business.
