Im a big fan of the new schedule online option.Theres a lot to worry about in the world but a haircut isnt one of them if youre going to The Cut.

No cash? I walked in to be surpried by a sign saying they dont take cash. I didnt want to cancel my appointment, so I had to pay the girl with cash and she had to put it on her own card. Just annoying. Last time Ill come here.The haircut was good, and the location is great for me, however Ill just to back to The Man Cave in the future. Theyre $5 cheaper for a haircut anyway, also Uptown.

I have tried over 5 different barber shops before I landed at The Cut Barbershop. My barber Mandy has been cutting my hair for the past two years and absolutely kills it.

First off, when the website tells you that parking is 123 Church St, they fail to tell you they will not validate your parking and you will be paying $10 extra for parking. Second, when you ask for a fade that is super super short you will receive a buzz cut more or less, so not a fade at all. And finally, we are cutting hair, and if I ask for a hard part I fully expect you to remember and not have to remind you. I paid $30 plus the $10 parking, and left a $6 tip cause I work service industry - $46 total. For $30 I would expect a lot better service than I received, and at the very minimum have gotten a hard part like I asked. Go to Pablo’s! Haven’t went yet, but judging by his website this is the man you want giving fades, etc.

Ive been in Charlotte for over a year and a half and have relied on the The Cut for my haircuts since arriving. It is close, convenient with on-line check in and always a solid haircut. For three of my visits, including todays, Liz has been the stylist and Ive got to say she the the most consistently thorough of any stylist I have ever had cut my hair. And yes, we all need to get our eyebrows (and other old-man stray hairs) trimmed -- she just makes sure you walk out looking your best. Thanks!

Ive always been loyal to a good stylist who cuts my hair the way I like it. The Cut is no exception, only there you have many talented ones to choose from. Great atmosphere and good service. However, they dont take appointments, but you can call ahead if your stylist is on the clock.

Ive been coming to the CUT for a while and they give a great quality haircut. I will say the #1 person you should ask for there is Kerri S. If you looking to just have a really cool experience she really loves to have conversation and invests into your style from the moment you take your seat. You wont be disappointed!! New to Charlotte, so I called in to make an appointment. Well they do not take appointments, walk-ins only. For the price they charge you cannot claim to be a high end barber shop and expect people to just walk in and wait several minutes for a haircut. I work 9-5, I do not have time to just sit around and wait. This is a ridiculous model and way of doing business especially if you are targeting uptown business professionals. Most barbers would prefer a set book of times, not having to depend on walk-ins, and most customers would rather come in, get a cut, and not have to sit and wait.I see below where the owner has responded to my review. Well I do not need an explanation for how it works because you cannot call in the morning for an afternoon haircut, you have to monitor their website, if it gets close to the time you want (lets say 6 PM) and they are busy around that time frame, then you are out of luck. You should be able to call in or book online, request an appointment for the time that fits your schedule, not theirs and move on with your day. Why not just take appointments? What is the reasoning for not doing that. Makes absolutely no sense.

Timmaree does a great job every time. The atmosphere is very relaxed, you can grab a beer if you’d like. They have an online check-in system to get in the list so you don’t have to just show up and hope it isn’t a two hour wait. I’ve been going here for almost 5 years now and even though I no longer work uptown I still make the trek to get my cuts here.

I recommend this barber shop a lot. Coming from Miami and having your own personal barber, this place really met my needs. The attention is great, very clean, smells good when you walk in, good music, and they offer beer. The attention to detail is perfect when it comes to your haircut and all the perks of shampoo, beard trim are really nice. I honestly recommend this to any guy who is looking to look crisp, professional, or just feel good. Ask for Kerri S she is awesome and super hands on👍🏼

I didn’t notice this at the barbershop but once I Got home I realize that my beard was not done correctly. They were Patches of hair on my left side. Beard was not symmetrical. One side was lower than the other. I probably could’ve done a better job myself. I also noticed that she did not use a straight razor to clean up my beard. Usually that’s how you get goodlines.Also noticed that my haircut Wasn’t done right either. There was more hair than I liked that was left on my left side.The ambience was nice and my stylist was friendly.Overall, I expected more out of a $40 haircut. Also, I was referred to you guys by one of my work colleague and he said I would get $10 off because I’m a new client. That did not happen either.

Great haircuts and a laid back environment. There can be long waits sometimes, but that’s largely due to the stylists being in such high demand! Only complaint is the parking, but it’s Uptown Charlotte, so what are you going to do? I was referred here by a friend, and now I refer others here as well!

The CUT is great. I’m somewhat new to Charlotte, and have gotten 3 great haircuts from 3 different CUT barbers. This included one that was basically an attempt to fix a completely botched haircut that I got from Great Clips on Kings Drive. The CUT is my place!

By recommendation I visited “the Cut” and saw Timmaree. Possibly best haircut of my life. Scalp massage and cut exceeded expectations. I will be back here as long as I’m in Charlotte .

It used to be possible to hop in here for a quick high quality hair cut. They have since switched to an online reservation system which is probably more efficient for them but is not a good experience for anybody who finds themselves with free time and wants a quick haircut or doesnt want to block time for a haircut like they are having cable installed. I sign in, wait a half hour, only to be told its going to be another 30+ minutes. Time to find a new barber shop.

I just moved down to Charlotte and need a hair cut for my new job. Being in a new town, I was a little leery about trusting my hair to someone I wasnt used to, especially with the importance of first impressions. The ladies at CUT put my mind to ease with a very nice, professional cut. They took their time and were completely focused on the client.The waiting are was quite nice, with 2 very comfortable couches, and a veritable whose who of classic rock playing in the back ground. I would go back in a heart beat and recommend them to anyone.Cant wait to try out their barber shop face shaves!

Received a great haircut both times Ive been here. Previously I would go to one of the chains that was really cheap and think ehh I can just style it to cover up a not so great cut, and it would be doable but not the best looking. Here you can tell the staff is experienced and know what theyre doing. Ive had 2 different individuals cut my hair and both times have been great.
