Second time there, my barber Justin hes very understandable and will work with you on this online appointment thing, eventually Ill get the hang of it but hes in no rush, thats what makes him so cool and so are the other Barbers. So drop in sometime and find out why they call it Old Charlotte barber shop.

Its one of a kind barber shop, Im not going to go through all the details, but its a great barber shop, driving by I just had to stop in, the guy asked me do you have an appointment I said no I thought perhaps you know it was an old-fashioned barber shop its been in business 65 + years so I thought I can just go in and sit and be call next but it didnt work that away so I said sorry about that so one of the barber said its okay Ill work you in his name is Justin. He made me feel right at home so did the others. Justin yeah hes a white guy and he done a marvelous job I got ready to pull the money out so he said are you not a senior citizen you pay senior citizen fair thank you thank you, I highly recommend this barbershop to others especially for senior citizens.

Having just moved into town, I was looking for a barber shop, and stumbled upon this place largely because it is the closest one to my apartment. What a find. Its like stepping back in time, having been a barber shop since the mid-1950s. I was offered a beer while I waited. Justin did a fantastic job. This is my go-to and I recommend highly.

Fantastic barber. Only place my husband and kids will go too. Lee does a excellent job each time for my husband and our son. Jackie is beyond excellent, my daughter hasn’t trusted anyone to cut her hair in a long time and she does the best work the straightest ever, plus she is the most understanding, nicest and wonderful person you could ever meet. Thank you to the whole staff. You cannot go wrong with any barber you choose here. We are just partial to Lee and Jackie.

The shop has been around since 1955 and Lee and team do an amazing job of carrying on the tradition of providing the community with quality haircuts at reasonable prices. As someone who used to get his haircut at Great Clips / Super Cuts, its worth spending the extra $5-$10 to my haircut here. My haircuts and beard trims are consistent and great, I would highly recommend.And with free beer and coffee while you wait what more is there to say?

Barbershops like these are fading out. If you want a great haircut by people you can form a relationship with like the old days this is your spot. Everyone in there is great people. I’ve been getting my hair cut there and at their other location for over 5 years now and I won’t go anywhere else.

I’m normally here once every 7-10 days. Chase cuts my hair, but you can’t go wrong with any of the barbers at this establishment. Not to mention everyone will always have good conversation with you. A definite old school, hometown feel that is missing in a lot of shops today.

Would it be different if I had an appointment? Probably. But don’t advertise you do walk-ins and not take care of those customers or let them know how long of a wait they should expect. 1 Star.
